40年前我在彰化吃肉圓，記得是肉圓發明創始店，在彰化北斗鎮，肉圓應該就是在北斗被發明的，一間小破爛的鐵皮屋，印象中就是店面小破，但是很好吃，時光好快就流逝了

肉圓很多家都是半透明的地瓜粉做的，有加在來米漿的肉圓會呈現不透明白色，純米的肉圓每天吃都不會膩也不怕熱量

越白越好，我在台中吃過草悟道的豐原肉圓 、丁山肉圓、台中肉圓，都不錯，但是丁山肉圓最白，吃完身通體舒暢，彰化肉圓也不錯只是不好停車，南投肉圓跟北斗肉圓也很不錯，看到外國人吃小吃，感覺很有意思，像是腦髓湯 田鼠肉 ，推薦嘉義羅山鱔魚意麵跟田雞湯，很古早味😊
相較於彰化肉圓，我更喜歡北斗肉圓。尤其北斗有著名的肉圓一條街（中華路），推薦的有肉圓瑞、肉圓生、肉圓儀 、肉圓詹，可以去試試看。

肉圓是宮崎駿動畫電影「神隱少女（千與千尋）」裡，女主角父母吃完後變成🐷的食物喔⋯⋯😂
也是我在異鄉會想念的台灣料理，每個城市尤其是北起新竹南到北港，每個城市鄉鎮都有自己不同的肉圓料理，各有特色。去當地菜市場尋寶，會是很棒的體驗❤
我喜歡脆皮和蒸的肉圓，台中市也有一家脆皮。
中部出身的家庭，每家幾乎都有肉丸控，就像Richard太太一樣。
白頭菜肉圓用的是大頭菜/蕪菁（turnip)，不是白蘿蔔/菜頭（radish)。
