- I'm a freelance 2D artist, working in boardgames, books, poster art etc. and I have had the chance to review a new Pen Display! If you got interested in HUION tablets, I looked deeper in the Kamvas 13 Pro (2.5k) and in this video I let you know what I think about it. Spoiler: I lover it!

The thing I'm still not 100% sure of: is Kamvas 13 Pro a stand-alone tablet or does it always have to be attached to a PC/laptop...?
Has to be connected via the power cable so laptop yes

@@nataliedombois6906 hey am not sure about calibration of the pen when do small line art is it as good as wacom?
@@abrahamd6989 I'd consider it pretty similar. You also can adjust how sensible it reacts to your pen pressure (which is great for me, because my hand gets exhausted easily by putting to much pressure on it). For me personally I was okay with the standard settings though.

The tablet definitely needs calibration before you use it for any artwork. Calibration is not perfect but for me close enough. :)

do you leave the charging plug in for ur macbook? coz the tablet draws a lot of power from macbook if it’s not connected to the power
If I can yes, but I can go for around two hours without it plugged in I think. The duration you can work without external power supply depends on your hardware and if you are working with demanding software I would assume. :)
@@nataliedombois6906 Thanks for the reply 🙏🏻💖 I have issues with it when i first plug the charging cable in for the tablet and second, the usb c to c. The display doesnt work.
It only works when I dont plug the power first. Do you have the same issues?

How long does the battery last?
Hey, it does not run on a battery.
But it gets its energy through the same cable you use to connect the screen to you computer, so it runs as long as your computer runs. :)
The pen runs on it's own (don't ask me how, it's magic to me lol)
