    I just bought one of these and at the first it took some getting used to, but by the end of the day I'm really liking it more and more. I've come from using an iPad, but I like that you compared to the Wacom which usually are quite over priced as to why I have not have one of their tablets with a screen.
    Once I got comfortable with this tablet, I wondered how it compared to Wacom, but I do feel like I made a smart move to purchase this and the cost was very nice for the quality!

      Glad you've gotten used to working with the Huion! As everything in life, things take a while until you feel comfortable working with them, it's no difference for tablets :) Happy drawing!

    As artists we should support the alternative companies since Wacom has been screwing us with their insanely overpriced tablets.

      I "grew up" as an artist using Wacom tablets, and I'm grateful for their quality but I agree, they used their market position very much. As I said in the video, I don't see a reason paying for the brand any more.

      The real question is, is their quality backed by their pricing? I’ve been using a iPad Pro for art for years (not bad) but I want to upgrade to something dedicated to 3d modeling and art so I do t know ow if I should go Wacom or Huion 😢

      @@scarvello I don't think Wacom is ahead of Huion any more when it comes to product quality. The only thing I can't tell you is how long the tablets last, cause Wacom USED to build indestructible stuff. Apart from that, I'd save some money and go with Huion.

    I have used my iPad Pro 12.9 2nd Generation tablet for last 3-4 years and loved it; but wanted to get into a bigger screen surface. I had zero interest in using a drawing pad but didn't want to go huge in a 24 inch just yet. I only used Procreate for digital drawing. So the Huion 16 Pro (2.k) was in my budget and is going to give me a bigger drawing window. Going to learn Clip Studio Paint... Thanks for sharing your review. If I like the 16, I will invest in the 24 to keep on my desk in future. Signed, somewhat of a Novice artist.

    The screen and anti goat is what you get with Wacom. The precise color and anti glare when streaming does make a difference.

      @plasticpen  11 месяцев назад

      A precise color display is important, but none of the tablets in this pricing category can be calibrated like a pro designer screen like an Eizo. So you'll always have differences that you need to keep an eye on.

    After having a 27QHD die on me after 3 years and Wacom telling me it was EOL'd and they weren't able to repair it even if I paid, I went with Huion 24 Pro 4k. The drivers can be finicky once in a while, but for $1300 it has paid for itself and been a great tablet. My only complaint is 4k at 24 inches some menus are so hard to read lol. I do miss eraser on my pen but I can definitely live without it.

      Sorry to hear about the Wacom giving up on you...they used to be mega reliable, I remember having an old Intuos that ran for well over 10-12 years. The gap between the brands is certainly closing fast, Huion tablets were rubbish some years ago and now are great alternatives!

      @@plasticpen I used a 21 inch Wacom for years and then sold it with the 27QHD. Huion drivers are still weird at times, but for use they are perfect. At most I am forced to reboot. They caught up on tech then lagged behind on drivers for a very long time. Xencelabs then came out of no where with a bunch of Wacoms top engineers. Their new Pen Display is a bit expensive but from their regular tablets and what I have used of my friends 24 inch they are probably the best at the moment especially for the money. XP-Pen is getting up there as well. I wonder if Ntrig (or apple) will get into the display tablet game.

      Hey, if you still have that problem you could change display scaling in windows from 100% to 150 - 175%, that way you can keep the 4K resolution but all of the icons and text will be bigger.

      I've been doing vector art with mouse and keyboard for many years, I think it works fine but it's certainly a whole different approach compared to pen & tablet. Honestly the best app for this I tried so far is Affinity Designer as it can do vector AND pixel graphics seamlessly. It's available for desktop and tablets so you should be able to use it with the huion tablet as well.
