Watching you on the streets with orange trees, it only makes sense you gravitated to the green and orange fabric. Love these videos, please keep them coming!
Love your lack of restraint! Intakes a fantastic video for us all. Your fabrics are just gorgeous I think my personal fave is your khaki swimwear fabric. Wish I could still wear stuff like that 😂. This is only the 2nd video I've watched but I'm subscribing right now !
Wow love love the video. I kept yelling jackpot every time you went into those stores and that market place. I can’t pick which I like more. The food looked fabulous also. ❤️❤️❤️
I love it that you met up with fellow sewists from different countries🎉 it’s really inspiring. I’m here in the Los Angeles area and love watching your creations and get inspo for my sewing!! I’m not nearly as talented but love trying anyway😂 keep up the good work!
I would be fantastic to take a fabric shopping trip with you! When I saw you were in Barcelona I was very excited because I live just a few hours away from there. Very beautiful purchases and waiting to see how you transform them into amazing clothes
Ooh, a video about tops that can be made from 1/2 metre would be great if you could please, I’ve got a lot of short lengths of fabric that I love but couldn’t afford a full metre of and although I’ve got some ideas I’m a bit anxious about putting scissors to cloth because there’s NO room for error!
You have such a beautful personality and love your videos... and love all your makes recently and your short set is amaxing ... I brought favric in barcelona recently and was also blown away by the quality and choice
What a glorious fabric shopping trip!!!!! I'm enamored of that pleated fabric and am envisioning a tiered long full ball gown skirt!!!!💛💛💛 Glad you got your free orange!😁🍊
Hiii! you absolutely need to visit Valencia's historic center, there are quite a few places that make the fallera costumes and sell THE most beautiful fabrics!! The cost of the actual fabric like by meters is crazy expensive, but theres a few that also sell remnants for really cool prices! The only name I recall right now is Dos Aguas Indumentaria, but theres more nearby. Loved the video, wish you the best!
I went to Barcelona for the first time this past May. I wish I knew about that open air market. I was in Barcelona for 7 days. But I did go to some of the same stores that you went to. I just loved Barcelona and I love all the fabric that you purchased.
Teixits (from donna teixits) would be pronounced "tai-sheets" in catalan :) And Ribes would be pronounced Rib -S (as in the letter S). And casa del retall is my favorite! Also I think when they told u about the street next door in Casa del Retall they meant Donna Teixits, they're owned by the same people
Love the fabrics you purchased it gave me some ideas about what could be done I would use the periwinkle lace and the yellow polka-dot if fabric together. in a skirt and top especially you're planning to pleat the periwinkle lace.
This was so frigging amazing! I'm oooohing and ahhhing over the delicious fabrics and notions right with you🤤. Awesome vlog and breathtaking selection. Can't wait to see the makes ❤❤
I thought the oranges in that part of Spain were only decorative! Not for eating, i think they are very sour. My husband tried one once and his face was hilarious😂
I am so glad you went back for the yellow Chanel fabric! It’s gorgeous and with those buttons! Looks like you had a fab trip and I’m very jealous! I think we all need to know, how was the orange 🍊 😂 x
Brilliant video! I've been to Barcelona a couple of times, but not since I started sewing, so I had no idea how incredible it was for fabric shopping. Someone needs to organise a massive sewing meet up there! I love that you bought a couple of fabrics influenced by the oranges. You didn't report back on your experience of trying the orange though - was it horribly bitter? My boyfriend sampled one in Seville years ago and it answered the question of why the locals don't just help themselves to free oranges all the time 😅
Personally I don't find it too fast, but if you do, you can always change the playback speed. Go to RUclips settings> playback speed> choose .75x or .5 times and it will slow it down for you
that fabric Sam picked out would make a cute palazzo pant set.
Sam's pick is my favourite. I like the buttons too with the Chanel style fabric.
I'm 12 minutes into the video and I think you are going to have to buy another suitcase 😄

Please do another blogg of Barcelona. Really enjoyed this video. Think I’d have to remortgage😂😂❤Xxx
LOL!!!! I'm so happy you got an orange....and fabric!

AMAZING FABRIC picks! I cannot wait to see what you make. I love that you vlog on your trips, so interesting and fun to watch!
I so want to go fabric shopping the next time I travel. My favorite fabric is the one your boyfriend picked! It's so fun lol
Wow love love the video. I kept yelling jackpot every time you went into those stores and that market place. I can’t pick which I like more. The food looked fabulous also. ❤️❤️❤️
Can you please share the complete address of all the shops in Barcelona from where you purchased Fabrics
Great Video I can’t wait to see what you make with the lemon tweed.
Fabulous vlog. So nice I watched it twice.

Usually those oranges that grow in the street are bitter, best getting them from the market.

I didn’t go fabric shopping when I was in Barcelona but I did in Madrid, at Julian Lopez and Ribes et Casual 🙂. Nice haul you got. I love Barcelona! ❤

Loved your video. Love Barcelona ❤
I absolutely love your shopping tours overseas. You have inspired me to take a trip to Turkey and definitely Barcelona 🙂
Yes, please do if you can. Both places are amazing, plus there is so much to do after you fabric shop too!
@@TheCrafterpreneur Awesome, thank you!
I love the fabrics
I noticed you’re left handed and wondered which scissors you use for cutting out?
Awesome! 🥰 been waiting for your view on Barcelona and it’s fabric stores - I loved it when I was there last year! 💖
🎉🎉🎉Love all the fabric!! I have the polka dot one in green & burgundy!
Loved your video

Yep that was the face I also had! They are very bitter
Hi why don't you buy and post it back to home it may be cheaper than extra baggage. ❤ love your vlogs .
I am so glad you went back for the yellow Chanel fabric! It’s gorgeous and with those buttons! Looks like you had a fab trip and I’m very jealous!
I think we all need to know, how was the orange 🍊 😂 x
It was actually really bitter, apparently they are not edible because of the street pollution. 😅
@@TheCrafterpreneur ohh 😂that’s a shame! Glad you got it anyway!

Seville oranges are known for being bitter, it’s best made up into a marmalade and is itself famous for that. 😋
@@joulsw3739 I know that. But sometimes you just have to try it and see for yourself (him, not me 😋)!
Yay!
what is neighborhood called where all these fabric shops are?
Do you know when Gratacos has their semi annual sales?
No but I’ll be asking Julia as she lives there so I’ll update when I know!
Dear pls tell me the name of yellow fabric and blue
AT 23 MINUTES IN THE STATES WE CALL THAT FABRIC EYELET
The whole internal debate about whether you should just fall and hit the tree! 😂
❤️❤️❤️
Were sections of the video sped up?
Yep, I had to or it would have been a 2 hour vlog. But next vid will be real time.
@@TheCrafterpreneurMaybe split it into 2 parts: the shopping part and a haul one?
Fabulous video but sometimes the camera moved toooo fast 🤢
M e r c e r i a , not miseria. In order to be understood in Spanish you need to slow down and remember; you can do it.
Why are you speed talking? And I was watching your video and I was very dizzy. Keep your hand more sturdy.. and slow down.
