If you ride to make noise and get attention then the Noisy Davidson is the best choice. That Noisy rider was scraping his floorboards on every curve but he did ok. It is hard work to be on the throttle so hard and shifting those clunky VTwin trannys in each straightaway while slamming your spine on any big bumps in the road . His passenger on the skinny seat did even better.
The sound of the v-twin is far superior to whatever noise the bmw speakers were producing. And why stay so close to a bike in the twisties, especially with a passenger. Either pass or provide a safe distance for them. Its easy for some riders to feel pushed and get distracted from the road ahead. Looks like a great place to ride!
He’s being really nice not to embarrass the Harleys. All that V twin is good for is making noise. Harleys can’t corner or brake. So annoying to get stuck behind them on a good mountain road.
As an owner of both a 2014 HD Electriglide and a 2018 BMW R1200RT I can confirm that the BMW will outperform the HD on this type of road. Having said that, I would much rather have the HD on a long touring ride with my wife on the back over the BMW. They are different bikes for different purposes and I can't choose which I like better overall! Also, there are plenty of sport bikes that will out-perform the BMW RT in the twistys.
Just unclear as to the "vs" part? "And" might have been a more appropriate title. Beautiful scenery!

Perhaps they are friends
This wasn't a good AD for BMW. All I can hear is that amazing Harley V-Twin.

The trajectories of the Bmw driver already make a big difference.
they are at the same time much safer
Bmw is a cop bike, Harley is a fun bike.
BMW are fun bike whzn the driver is not over 30 years old
