Hahahaha, you have a lot of videos then :) Although I'm obviously biased, but I think they're getting better the more I got used to the camera and editing (and the audio) ;) Thank you for following along, really appreciate that :)
I also recommend homemade dried onions. Plus I dehydrated vegan kimchi, wich worked great. I also got some dried vegan Gyros style chunks at dm, which were a finde addition to potato mash or pasta, rice and kimchi.
You could make a good coast to coast walk across Scotland. There's no set route. I took the train to Mallaig, then the boat from Mallaig to Inverie on Knoydart, then walked from Inverie to Montrose climbing some Munros en route, then took the train home from Montrose. A great journey.
Thank you for sharing :) I'm actually doing a Coast to Coast in Scotland this year: I've registered for the TGO challenge, so I'm planning my own route for that! Going through Knoydart - very excited for that :)
Thats cool, haven't seen a resupply video like this for a long while, have to say, porridge is the food of the gods ,looks a awesome route too that you have planned, good health and safe travels, cheers craig
Interesting to see, thanks. The remote Post Offices are tiny tho, hope they didn't refuse any packages due to lack of space. It's strange, but porridge doesn't seem to give me much energy - I burn through it really quickly.
I always check before sending to a smaller Post Office and I've sent most resupply packages to Hotels/Pubs/Campsites (also after checking with them of course). Yes, you're right, porridge hasn't a lot of calories. But at least, it's cheap, warm, has some nutrients, is lightweight and quick to make. I often add a bit of coconut oil or nuts, dried fruit to make it more filling 😊
Hey Elli, love your video! Finally some more inspriration for vegan thru-hikers on RUclips!! I didn't know about the Huel Meals so thank you so much for that advice. They seem to be a great option in the future for me as well. Definitely gonna follow your trip here on YT and on Insta. Happy Trails!
Thank you so much, I'm so glad I could give some inspiration :) yeah, the Huel meals are great: really tasty, all vegan and inexpensive compared to other dehydrated meals :)
I am loving your channel, thank you so much for sharing, please can i ask one thing whilst you are talking please can you eliminate the music sometimes it hard to hear what you are sharing, i personally like the sounds of nature over music anyway but that is just my personal preference, love your little dog too. much love xxxxxxxxx

Vacuum packer is genius?!
Liked video, did you have to get a visa for UK?
No, I didn't! With an EU passport, you can stay up to 6 months without a visa if you're coming over for tourism :)
@@ellihikes that's good to hear , got a Dutch passport 👍 thanks for info take care both
