Mark, My Tesla automatically plays AC/DC , Highway to Hell at Full Volume when I'm driving on a hot sunny day. Do you think a headliner sunshade will fix that? My dog is going deaf.
I suppose the glass roof is fun for rear seat passengers. To me it’s the car’s worse feature. I have a smart for two which also has a transparent roof with a similar pinhole shade. I wound up leaving it closed and stuffed with two windshield reflectors. These cars are just plain HOT. My E320 must have insulation because it can be awhile before it gets hot inside with engine off. I’m not convinced AC can counter the heating effect especially in those with black interiors.

It may help, the black perforated sunshade reduces sunshine 30 to 40 % , maybe skip one AC/DC song to Back in Black , great tunes to play loud 😀

That glass roof will fry people inside and that thing will do nothing in the tropics.....after a few stop lights car will be 50~60c inside with A/C 😢
This kinda seems like a first world problem. It would be nice if you could get a metal roof like most any other car.
