every time i watch a video from you guys i fall in love more and more with NZ and as a nature lover, camper, and hiker i am just so ready to go there and hike all these amazing places. so thank you Peter and Yen for these videos and amazing tasty looking food when i go to NZ i will go to these places for sure i'm planning to live in NZ hopefully to continue my studies. so again thank so much all the way from LEBANON !!!

Cambridge is a very pretty small town. My wife and I loved the Putaruru Blue Springs, although we only went there as her uncle lives nearby. Truly pristine and beautiful. Loving your channel!

NZ has such beautiful clean waters but yea this blue spring was next level. Never seen water so clear and blue like that but I guess that's what 50-100 years of natural filtering looks like 😍💙 haha thanks Maria! They're pretty short tours since we usually stay in small places for the two of us (unless we're in Thailand, then that's another story haha) 😁💕

Its definitely a very unique spot even for New Zealand 🇳🇿 never seen water like this with so many plants. You gotta try the water if you're there Sundai, vlog it too 😂 just need to find a cleaner water bank otherwise you might find some random floaty 😁

Road trips are so exciting these days and you guys know how to do it right. And you know where to find great food along the way, which is a huge plus. Those noodles with all those goodies look like a fantastic lunch. That's great that the good is diversifying in those small towns.

That bun cha was so good 🤤 and Don's home made chilli topped it off! That was our first time seeing the water so incredibly clear and blue too! Like you often see blue water but not in a spring like that and so clear you can see all the plant life underneath too, it was amazing 😍💙 thanks Wera we have a couple more videos from this trip to share 😁💕

You're right! I never thought of Cambridge as a destination - so always just drive through. Your vid has made me reconsider. Another day trip possible out of AKL is cycling the Karangahake Gorge on the dedicated cycle path - Hauraki Rail Trail. The area is rich in gold mining history and some amazing walks can be had. Park your car opposite Work & Income Paeroa, saddle up and cycle through the gorge (and tunnel) to the pub at Waikino for a cold beer then return. Or if more energetic go all the way through to Waihi!
We actually went there for Peter's birthday many years back but well before we started vlogging so seems like one we should go back and revisit. I remember we also took a random wrong turn so went somewhere through the countryside and then it rained hard and we were stuck in it for like an hour and a half getting back 😆😆 still fun tho! 😁
I grew up in cambridge when it had a poulation of 6500, so much has changed the Resturant scene, and Lake te koutu so much, the roads and the streets I must get back there after covid 19

Just make sure you go to the Leslie Rd carpark for the short walk unless you wanna do the full few hours walk lol 😁💙 The water was so pure and clear but somehow blue.. it was like whaaat... Is this place real?! So pretty lol 😍 I really liked seeing all the green plants under the water.. looked magical 😍💙🍃 and yes definitely try Hanoi Boy but check their opening hours ahead of time! @@PeterandYen I think I went for the classic Margherita which was delicious! We were really impressed with the staff though, Sass has a tomato allergy (great for Italian restaurants 😅) but they were really accommodating and made her a pizza she could eat. Would highly recommend them 😊
There were some mornings we were waking up to 1 degrees so yep! Very cold lol thankfully during the day it got warmer and the sun helps but the air is definitely chilly! Peter even had to start putting on pants some days lolll 😆
Yen looks really cold at Hanoi Boy XD - just at the start of the hike, you already encounter such a beautiful sight already. The blue springs are so beautiful! I remember when I first visited we were still allowed to swim, but I only dipped my feet in because it was too cold 🥶, wish I swam 😂. Blue spring was my favorite place that we went to when I was in NZ for a vacation. it looks good in photos and videos but a lot more beautiful in person. Haven’t had the taste of it though maybe on our next trip 😹

That bun cha was so good 🤤 and Don's home made chilli topped it off! That was our first time seeing the water so incredibly clear and blue too! You're right! I never thought of Cambridge as a destination - so always just drive through. Your vid has made me reconsider. Another day trip possible out of AKL is cycling the Karangahake Gorge on the dedicated cycle path - Hauraki Rail Trail. The area is rich in gold mining history and some amazing walks can be had. Park your car opposite Work & Income Paeroa, saddle up and cycle through the gorge (and tunnel) to the pub at Waikino for a cold beer then return. Or if more energetic go all the way through to Waihi!
We actually went there for Peter's birthday many years back but well before we started vlogging so seems like one we should go back and revisit. I remember we also took a random wrong turn so went somewhere through the countryside and then it rained hard and we were stuck in it for like an hour and a half getting back 😆😆 still fun tho! 😁

@@PeterandYen I think I went for the classic Margherita which was delicious! We were really impressed with the staff though, Sass has a tomato allergy (great for Italian restaurants 😅) but they were really accommodating and made her a pizza she could eat. Would highly recommend them 😊

There were some mornings we were waking up to 1 degrees so yep! Very cold lol thankfully during the day it got warmer and the sun helps but the air is definitely chilly! Peter even had to start putting on pants some days lolll 😆

The blue springs are so beautiful! I remember when I first visited we were still allowed to swim, but I only dipped my feet in because it was too cold 🥶, wish I swam 😂. Yummm your noodles look so good! Bun cha is one of my favs too! The Airbnb looks so cozy 😆! I’m with Yen on the cold factor, I always get cold easily too, heaters are a must 😄. Blue spring was my favorite place that we went to when I was in NZ for a vacation. it looks good in photos and videos but a lot more beautiful in person. Haven’t had the taste of it though maybe on our next trip 😹
