Lyapunov...great musician. I have not known about him till now. I dont know except of major musician like F.Chopin because I have not deep knowledge on the genre. but I was moved by his songs very much. The Romanticism and sentimentalism like Chopin, high tempo melodies as if water flow. The beautiful allpeggio so that feel Russian history. I love such sacred melodies very much.
To this day, I have no idea what people mean by this. What passage exactly is copied from islamey? I can't think of a single sequence of more than two notes.
@@SpaghettiToaster It's just that people find similarities solely because both of them are "Lezghinka" dances, and their material comes from the same origin.
I literally just discovered Lyapunov on iTunes... wonderful music for the piano! Breathtaking to say the least.
@lisztchasseneige
It's a painting of a great russian painter Michail Avilov " Peresvet and Chelubei fighting"
What excitement !!!!
l'écriture des mesures 61 et suivantes de cette étude est très proche de celle des mesures 45 et suivantes d'Islamey de Balakirev!
Stupenda,stupenda interpretazione davvero
just discovered this. Revelation
WOAW EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats tranzendental playing.....
This is fantastic.

@@herveverbaert254 It's Mikhail Avilov's masterpiece:"Duel of Peresvet with Chelubey on Kulikovo Field" : )
@@lisztchasseneige thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!
Fan-freakin-tanstic ---I have a recording of this by Chisato Kusunoki but her interpretation was much more 'delightful'
I like the part 0:00 - 6:54 !
Almost excatly copying material from Islamey, but in my opinion by far superior to the original.

Trae paz :)
I hate squeaky sustain pedals.... Nonetheless, this is phenomenal playing!
