Ruby + Infinity is awesome. And as appealing as being a power player is, I am probably a control-leaning player as well. So, this paddle is going to be better for me than the CF3, if I'm honest with myself. Nice short & sweet review. Thanks.
Looking for a good control paddle. I'm curious to compare it with my current paddle. I'm starting to like paddles with longer dwell time. Thanks for the review!
I like the fact that it’s edge less and making it lighter feeling is great for us older players looking for more hand speed . Would love to try this paddle
Thanks for the video. It is interesting to hear tgat all of the different components equate to a more control oriented paddle that is elongated and edgeless. Very interesting!
Thanks for your review! The KC1 would be a great paddle for my play style! I have a paddle but would like to have another option in my bag to up my game!!!
I am a fan of the KC Chiefs, Kind Koffee Company (Kind KC), Kauai Coffee Company, Java Kai Coffee, and KC Hilites (they claim to be the “original” but I was established before them.) :)
I liked the Ruby but didn't find it significantly different than my 16mm DBD. An "edgeless Ruby" like the KC1, is an awesome idea. I like the potential for quicker hands at the net with a little wiggle room for weight customization.
Would love to add this to my arsenal. It’ll be my first edgeless one and love the tech behind it. I’m also control leaning player and prepping for my first tournament taking place end of October! Keep up the great content 🤜🏼🤛🏼
It’s definitely a very interesting alternative to the Six Zeros. It’s also quite a good looking paddle. One question is if you compare it against the Six Zero Ruby, is it more powerful/poppy?
I don’t have a Ruby, so not too many touches with it TBH. I’d say it’s more plush than Honolulu’s J2K if I had to do a comparison without playing with them back to back. Hope that helps!
I like paddles that have a longer dwell time because they are more forgiving. I haven't tried anything from 6.0 or anything edgeless yet, but based on this quick review and your tendency to favor the same paddle types as me, I would like to try this paddle.
From the owner of Standout: “Regarding the KC1, we added graphene crumbs, which is like graphene dust on the face, to produce more spin and long-lasting spin on the paddle. Graphene also makes the paddle more solid and robust. We applied it slightly more on the head to make the sweet spot bigger since it is an edgeless paddle.”
I want this paddle as your arguments were convincing me to reconsider the Six Zero Ruby for the marginally higher price points along with the lack of needing to adjust the setup using a weighted tape to modify the core and sweet spot. A Kevlar Paddle with better control is what I'm lead to believe this paddle to be out of the box and I look forward to getting it for my game going forward. Thanks for the review @Matthew K Pickleball.
Nice to see an edgeless Kevlar. Love all my 6.0’s (DBD/TBD). Haven’t tried an edgeless yet, just got a week with my first Kevlar, J2K. Would be interested on how this would compare to a DBD/J2K
@@MatthewKPickleball loving it now, after I added 3g to each side of the corners near the throat. Prior to adding weight I was hitting everything out of bounds with serves/drives. With the weight it muted it a bit just like my DBD.
This is a really interesting paddle. The first I've heard of being both kevlar and edgeless. As a big 6.0 fan, I'm excited that other companies are developing edgeless paddles that are better than the infinity series.
I would absolutely love this paddle. I like the fact that it's edgeless and especially that it's thermoformed. I've been playing pickleball for a while but don't have anywhere near the money to buy a paddle as nice as this especially given how high the prices of other premium paddles similar to this one are in comparison, so winning a free paddle would mean the world to me and totally improve my ability to play the game. (P.S. I I love the paddle review content Matthew; keep it up
Hi! Control is my game. Sounds like this would be the perfect paddle for me. I have been looking for a carbon/kevlar paddle. Would love to win this one.
The high amounts of control and edgeless design for faster hand speed sound real interesting to me. How would you compare this to the Hurache-X Control Kevlar?
That’s a good question! I would have to play with them side by side to really give you good insights. But I’d say the KC1 probs has more dwell time or slightly better grab than 11six24’s Kevlar paddles. But that’s without testing them side by side. The KC1 just really lets you place and control the ball.
I'm interested in this paddle because of the control. I've been leaning more and more towards control paddles these days and I've seen my game improve.
What edge tape do you recommend for this paddle? I see that yours is black and covers up the entire edge really nicely. Thanks in advance I appreciate you😀 I’ve been using the vp prism v7 for about a year now and I think it’s time to upgrade. I would love to have this as my next paddle. I was going to order it hence asking about the edge tape but if I can win the giveaway that would be legit thanks again!
A year on a prism! You’re def due for an upgrade. This would be a great one since you’ve been playing with a softer paddle. As for the edge tape, this is from a company called Body Helix. I like that it wraps without having those little slits lots of edge tape does. Just not a fan of that look, especially when trying to keep the sleek edgeless vibe. You can save a buck with promo code MATTHEWK but not sure what shipping will cost for your location. Here’s the link to their site: bit.ly/3S5D6Jl
Love the short, but informative review. I would like to win this bc I do not have an edgeless paddle and would benefit from it being control oriented and lighter swing weight.
Lots of folks say Kevlar is a bit more plush than CF and pockets the ball a bit more. I personally think it varies paddle to paddle, but I do think the KC1 is a good example of that “pocket” idea.
What’s a “graphene crumb” (mentioned in the face specs section)? I’m very interested in this paddle because my playing style sounds like it matches yours. I’m a control player but looking for decent power as well. Thanks for the review.

KC 1 looks very interesting, I’m normally not a fan of edgeless paddles due to lack of perimeter weighting but a 6.5+ twist weight seems stable enough for me! Great review

Good on you for knowing your play style! Once you figure that out, the paddle hunt is sooooo much easier!
Looking for a good control paddle. I'm curious to compare it with my current paddle. I'm starting to like paddles with longer dwell time. Thanks for the review!
Sounds like an excellent option, an alternative comb8ning the Ruby and DBD sounds pretty good.
From watching most all your videos, I think my play style is very close to yours and this KC paddle would complement that style!
Thanks for your review, the edgeless design and reactive honeycomb is intriguing.
Loving the all court style of this paddle and the specs are very impressive. Thanks for the review!
I really love that it's quick in the hands. It gives me a great advantage in hands battles and I hate feeling sluggish at the kitchen.
I like the fact that it’s edge less and making it lighter feeling is great for us older players looking for more hand speed . Would love to try this paddle
So many good paddles out there right now and this one of them! Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the clear and concise review! Sounds like a great all court paddle! I especially like it for my control game!
I love trying different paddles, especially control Kevlar paddles. You’re doing a great job, keep it up.
Thank you!
Thanks for the review! I got my Ruby shortly after it first released, and I’ve played pretty hard with it. I’d love this as a solid replacement!
This paddle truly stands out. Low swing weight for an elongated. Have yet to try an edgeless. I also like paddles that you can play stock.
Ditto about stock!
Thanks for the review, this Paddle has some very appealing specs and characteristics!
Thanks for the video. It is interesting to hear tgat all of the different components equate to a more control oriented paddle that is elongated and edgeless. Very interesting!
The control aspect that this paddle is going to offer my game is why i'm looking forward to it.
Good stuff! Thanks.
I like the quick hands plus control that this paddle offers. Also, I really like the plush feeling paddles.
Thanks for your review! The KC1 would be a great paddle for my play style! I have a paddle but would like to have another option in my bag to up my game!!!
Love what this paddle seems to be. Never tried edgless, and this sounds like a great paddle to dip my toe into that pool.
That swing weight is looking so good! Thanks for the review MK!
Thanks for your review. I have yet to try a Kevlar paddle, so this would be my first.
I would love the KC1 because I definitely want to try a paddle that has more control like this one and I love the edge less design.
Thanks for the review. I’ve always liked the ruby, so would like to try this and see how it compares 🔥🔥🔥
6.0 ruby is my favorite so if this is similar to it I would love to try. Love supporting small up and coming companies so this is a plus
Thank you for the review. Have not tried a kevlar paddle yet stand out. Looks like the place to start.
This looks very interesting. Low swing weight paddles are my cups of tea. The twist weight is not that bad too. Definitely would like to try this out.
I want this paddle because you said it's better than Ruby and it's lighter. And it's edgeless
Thanks for another great review! This paddle would definitely help my game.
I would love to have this KC1 paddle. I am the original KC so this paddle is perfect for me. Also matches the way I play with control over power.

Liked. Love to have the balanced control approach to a Kevlar Edgeless!
Nice review very informative. Love to play a Kevlar paddle, looks like it has more pop and control compared to a current carbon type paddle.
You had me at "Ruby + Infinity in one." Thanks for the giveaway.
Nice concise review. Edgeless and different shape than I am playing with - sounds like a good fit. Thanks again!
Love to try it to compare to my Ruby and Apollo. Right now I order the Apollo, but the edge less design may make this an Apollo killer.

Cool looking paddle. Kevlar. Excited to try.
My friend has it and i want it too. This is a powerhouse!
I would like this paddle because of it's all court characteristics. That is my preferred paddle type.
Looks like a fun paddle! An edge less Kevlar paddle seems super intriguing
I’m a fan of edgeless! Looks great and if it’s close to what the CF3 offers I’m all for it.
Absolutely loved the DBD so sure this one is great too, been using more all court paddles but would love too have a control paddle.
I would say this is all court because it does have very good power. It’s just super easy to control.

for some reason i cant resist Kevlar! nice short video I am also more interested in control paddles
I think this is going to be a safe edgeless paddle for me to try out. I like the elongated shape with the aero curve.
Thanks for the review, would be awesome to use a kevlar control paddle!
I use the DBD and DBD infinity, would love to use this paddle. Thinkin it could be a keeeeper... thks for your reviews I'm a paddle freak
I am, too! 😆
I would love to try this paddle. I prefer control and an edgeless design. This may be good competition for the LUXX also.
All-court and edgeless sounds like a great combo to me!
I'm liking the feel of Kevlar and want to try this edgeless design. But what is graphine crumb? Never heard that on a paddle before. Thanks
