I can't say that I've ever been a fan of Lucifer. They're okay, but nothing extraordinary about them. Cool shout-outs,though! I live in Montreal, so I've seen HazeHound a few times,a really cool band. And Aawks, I just saw them for the 2nd time last Saturday. Such a fun band. Got to speak to the drummer and singer, very cool people. Love your reviews,Conner. Hope to see more.
I just miss The Oath. That album was absolutely amazing and perfect, I'd love to see Lucifer go more in that direction. A bit harder and darker, and slower would be great too!
Lucifer I with Gary Jennings's writings is still my favourite even though I listened to the other albums. Don't get me wrong, I like rock n' roll as much as the next guy but the party vibes do get old. Maybe I just can't physically bear music on a major key. I guess mystical suffering and pain are eternal jk Tune low & play slow my dudes :)
I will agree on what you said about the last 4 records have no big difference from each other but still, the new album was really really good! you just can't have enough of that sabbath-like tunes 😁
I love the first album. Then after that they changed the sound, at first i was so pissed, but over time got used to it. But to me i miss the sound from the first album
Check out Johanna's short lived band The Oath from right before Lucifer. They released one self titled album but it's SO good, better than Lucifer imo. It's probably my favorite female fronted doom album.
Event Horizons 3 we just put out an Album Live Raw and Imperfect 3piece band Acoustic Bass and Drums we play in Drop A tuning i dont know were to put us Rebel Rock Punk we are into Old School mind set !! Lucifer Great band i love that they are into the 70s mindset
I´m not a huge Hellacopters fan, but I admire Nicke for the unbelievable amount of high quality and diverse music he has put out. I saw them on the first european tour they did, people were blown away by the Entombed drummer now fronting a very different band. After that the Solution and hundreds of other projects, this guy loves music and never aimed to get Manowar-style fans that accuse others of being untrve, saying their love ain´t real :D@@elvistheripper
I’ve always loved this band. Makes me think, of heart, combined with Black Sabbath.
I love Lucifer. I still miss The Oath though.

Thanks for laying down the shout outs!

I agree just commented. They could not get along so said.
Great album, I'm already loving it very much! Special thanks for the shout outs, awesome albums! Cheers!
FWIW, people should also know the band Maggot Heart, which is th other spinoff from The Oath and a solid discography woth their own new album
I love Maggot Heart !! Lucifer are pretty boring
I like it. It's like Coven with a bit of a heavy metal edge.

first time hearing Lucifer and it sounds like the fuzzy 70s rock that my dad listens to and I freaking love it!
Try the Red album. Some excellent tunes on that one!
Another Blacksabath worship band - haven't we been listening to those for the last 50 years? Also the vocals sound run of the mill to me
Lucifer is a great band! I like the early doom stuff, but the newer, brisker paced stuff really does it for me. The CD is on it's way!

I love the new Lucifer V album! Great band, love everything about them. This is their best album yet, in my opinion.

I totally agree with you!
WHERES THE PANCAKE RECIPE CONNOR!
It sounds good. Though i really like female fronted rock, doom. Its a rare sub sub genre, but this is what i like, what i search for.

What's that "helicopter album" you keep referring to?
Love Connor! What a great review.

Love this band!! So cool to have "the stoner guy" to review it. Kudos to Connor!! \m/
I wonder how many naked dudes are going to be on stage this time?
Over/under 69
Lucifer is basically another Ghost for me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Good live show, but not likely to seek out their studio material.
You are such a likable dude. Should be doing way more reviews
Good review , but I don't really listen to rock . Thank you
nice
If you truly loved The Hellacopters you’d know how his name is pronounced or spelled. It’s Nicke. imposter vibes abound
You didn´t make to where he´s in a picture with a signed Hellacopters album & Nicke?
If you truly loved bangertv then you’d know we pronounce and spell most things incorrectly
@@benzedrine5314 i did indeed

It's so jarring to have a host who can pronounce 'nuclear' properly. 😄
The stoner dude and the new Lucifer…Banger you trolling us these days or what??? 🧌 👿
