That's my favorite part of Kazuya as a villain. He understands that all those fancy super powers are useless unless he himself is truly strong even without them. Most villains lack that inner strength, so they feel defeated when they lose their powers. A truly strong villain should be able to get things done even when at their weakest

8:27 All that is left is Jin saying "Now Kazuya, your next line is: "Was this all part of your plan, Jin?!" with Sono Chi No Sadame playing in the background
I have a theory. When Kazuya was pummeling Jin up against the rocks, he kinda heistated when he spoke before throwing that last punch, and his face looked like he was questioning his own philosophy. I wonder if the devil gene being removed from him started to restore his humanity. It seems he's still alive in the ending. It would be absolutely insane if he and Jin teamed up to take down you know who!🤔🤔
Apparently, even w/out the Devil Gene, Kazuya always like that because of Heihachi, & worst being lied by the old man on how his mom died. Somehow I’m starting to see Kazuya’s resemblance to MCU Killmonger, who also happens to have Vegeta vibes.
Nah he's just a playable story character . He cannot be obtained in Multiplayer . Same goes with True Devil Kazuya . I have not bought this game yet and considering Angel Jin's abilities , he is way too OP for the players . Just wait for the new version of Moveset extractor and mods to play as Angel Jin
@@danaraprapanca1856 You mean Arcade mode ? Yeah definitely not happening since Tekken 6 and 7 where bosses are not playable and obtainable . Can be obtained via mods or cheats only . I can play as True Devil Jin , Ascended Heihachi and Asura Jin in Tekken 7 because of mods and Moveset extractor but only in offline cuz you can get kicked for using Moveset mods . I played as Azazel in Tekken 6 because the emulator version has a cheat to play as Azazel . Bosses were made to be played only in Story mode for the plot . Another reason why Angel Jin cannot be obtainable it's because he is a stance changer since he uses both Kazama , Kyokoushin and Mishima style and he has that regen health ability which makes it unfair for other players .
@ErenYeager-zf3td I mean. His moveset is literally the same as devil jin. Plus a few extra moves obviously but I'm not too sure why you think they'd copy and paste him online. Just dumb him down a bit it's not too hard

Been a fan of the tekken franchise eversince I've had my ps1 (2006 I was 6 years old) ...sad and happy to see the series come to an end Mr. Katsuhira Harada u brought great memories into my life...
Absolutely perfect for Jin bringing back that style. Also I was not expecting him to combine all three of his styles into one at the end for the final round, it was cool as hell playing it. Edit: Also not featured in the video I really liked the bit when the camera switches around and you play DVJ while his stage theme from T5DR plays.
kazuya vs heihachi had real weight to it t he entire franchise was building for that jin vs kazuya almost feels like we have beef because we have to....kazuya has no real reason to hate jin and vice versa to an extent honestly eddy gordo would have a more legit beef.
@Miss._Jellyfish_ as a long time tekken player it's just not as impactful....it's cool.and all but heihachi and kazuya are the foundation...and the retconing of lore is another thing that hurt later tekkens in my view
"I will not deny my past." "I will not deny my friends and our bonds." "I want to live!" **meanwhile Miguel in a seedy bar drink in hand next to a pile of thugs writhing in agony watching the fight unfold on screen** "Creo que es tiempo."
Can’t nobody say Jin character arc in this years Tekken is trash or terrible he fully redeemed himself as a full fledged hero, he started WW3 in T5 and the devil even acknowledged what he did was wrong and doing so only brought chaos and despair with Jin. As of right now Jin can fully control his devil and use it at any given point, and I strongly believe his devil isn’t as evil or malevolent he wanted Jin to accept his true self.
Except Kazuya was always a better and more loved character than jin sp it's really annoying that the series jyat tries endlessly to shove Jin down our throats when we'd nuch rather see a return to exploring the duality in kazuya and seeing him reclaim the goodness that is supposed to still be in him
I noticed that Kazuya starts to show some doubts after both him and Jin loses the Devil Genes, he had a rather confused look when Jin parried his punches while using Jun's fighting style, like... almost remembering those moves when he met Jun in that fighting tournement all those years ago.
I was talking to an acquaintance of mine about this game and he said he didn't like it and I asked why. His responce floored me. "I just can't believe after all this time they made Kazuya the bad guy"
Honestly, the part that surprised me the most is that Jin thought that he didn't have the right to live all this time. I really had no idea how bad he was broken deep down. Guess explains a lot on why he kept getting lost when he went Devil.
Since Tekken 4 Jin has been on a suicidal mission to end the entire Mishima bloodline along within himself. So it would make sense that he would feel like he didn't have a right to live due to his families history long desire for power and conquest. In Tekken 6, he became the very two people hate, Heihachi and Kazuya. But he had to in order stop Azazel from destroying the world.
@newhybrid101 True but he wanted the Mishima since the beginning T4. His actions in T6 just added to the heavy burden that Jin was carrying on his shoulders.
Love that Jin considers Xiaoyu as iportant as his mother... like those 2 are the most important women in his life... future wife there.... and were those Jun Kazama's feet besides Kazuya's defeated body? Also Jin and Xiaoyu motorcycle scene was like the start of a K-Drama/Dorama....
When Jin switch his fighting style to the Tekken 3 move list then his old them came in I had to roll up a fresh blunt shit was getting to epic. That music alone sends me back to 98. I love this game.
It was cool to see Jin pull out all the stops, using everything he learned, different styles to show how much he grown, especially being driven by motivations that his father, Kazuya, never had. Jin had friends and allies while Kazuya only had enemies, knowing conflict and violence from what he suffered from his father, Heihachi.
This represents more of the *The strength born from the wish to protect others and accepting oneself in the process is superior to the wish for pure strength alone" Jins will is what made him overcome his father, he was losing in the final battle but the thought of losing his loved ones is what made him pull through. He got a second wind of energy because of it. When you have responsibilities over others like most real fathers youll do anything for those your protecting breaking your own limits if you have to. Kazuya doesnt understand that. He believes strength is strength but nothing will make him pull through like that responsibility.
@@LadyAselia same with me! I wanted to get Tekken 3 at the time but it was too expensive! I played Tekken 2 first and eventually got them all. Tekken 2 is still my favorite and has the best soundtrack in my opinion.
@@titan133760 This; cliches can be cliches but still be implemented well. Enemies to friends tropes are cliche, but you can do them well. Twist villains are cliche, but you can do them well. Etc. Good vs Evil / Angels vs Demons are cliche, but can be done very well with good story and world building.
That odd moment when you remember that Tekken apparently shares the same universe as Street Fighter (which in itself shares itself with Darkstalkers and possibly Devil May Cry).😅
I have literally dreamt of this fight since I was a child. Because these two always looked the same naked. I have always wanted this. This brought a tear down my eyes. So poetic and ironic. The best fight ever. The fight between heihachi and kazuya was already like the best fight in gaming history and to surpass that.. wow bandai namco
The most epic, badass and impressive story of fighting games. Impressive from start to finish, excellent development and evolution of characters. One of the best and most unbeatable movies I have ever seen.⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟Jin Kazama surpassed himself and became the great hero he deserves to be.
Despite the epic fight of angel vs devil here, Heihachi vs Kazuya feels more intense. Kazuya has this deep hatred for his father, for killing his mother and throwing him to his death as a kid, and Heihachi is one bitter old man who lost his wife and had to accept his kid was gonna be a threat to the world he set to kill his own child. The fight is so much more personal. The Jin vs Kazuya however, feels like generic good vs bad.
Yeah are all fights supposed to be hatred dick measuring? The point of this fight is Jin letting go of his hatred to the Mishimas and Devil. Jin discarded his Mishima moveset in T3 due to Heihachi's betrayal, now he reuses it by not denying himself.
That isn't the point for T8 final fight the point is that Jin moves on from Mishima's curse but Kazuya's still stuck in the past including him beating Heihachi in T7, it still haunts him

Tekken fashion designers go HARD
Theyre the real mvps here
Jin actually accepting and purifying his devil form became the highlight of it all.
I loved hearing Jin’s Tekken 3 at that moment. I got so hyped and went all out in the fight against Kazuya.
40-ish minutes of old school anime fight drama in super high quality realistic 3D graphics with japanese dub. 11/10
Not japanese dub, it is global, it is tekken.
There is no official dub, several characters speak their own language
The first 15 minutes was definitely an anime fight but then the rest was straight up Rocky 5 😅 two dudes with fingerless gloves just duking it out outside on the wet streets lol
tekken 8 history its like a FastFurious 10 , from street fights to fighting on the moon, but what matters is the family
No it's not, at all. Even in Tekken 3 Paul fought and beat a demon and he didn't even have the Devil Gene.
Heihachi: Your delusion of grandeur ends here
Jin: I will crush your delusion of grandeur
8:27 All that is left is Jin saying "Now Kazuya, your next line is: "Was this all part of your plan, Jin?!" with Sono Chi No Sadame playing in the background
i waited for this comment xD
Dude the tekken 3 throwback at 19:00
I love it
Who would've thought that Jin was the Warrior of light all along...
Is that a BAMCO SQUARE collab im seeing?... a remake of FF1 with jin as HERO OF LIGHT?...
Okay, so I'm not the only one thinking that.
@@erickreyes7902I mean in Tekken 7 Noctis was a guest character
@@Ratchet4483 never knew that but thats good to know..
I was gonna say this!
Jin's Rage Art without the Devil is so cool.
Fr
They literally beat the devil out of each other.
Just like what Bob Ross used to say 😂
Beat the hell out of each other get it?!?!??!?! XD
@@kayosensei L🤣L.
Good
I have a theory. When Kazuya was pummeling Jin up against the rocks, he kinda heistated when he spoke before throwing that last punch, and his face looked like he was questioning his own philosophy.
I wonder if the devil gene being removed from him started to restore his humanity. It seems he's still alive in the ending. It would be absolutely insane if he and Jin teamed up to take down you know who!🤔🤔
Damn... that's actually a very good observation! Good eye!
Without the Devil gene, Jun can now give him the spanking he deserves
Apparently, even w/out the Devil Gene, Kazuya always like that because of Heihachi, & worst being lied by the old man on how his mom died. Somehow I’m starting to see Kazuya’s resemblance to MCU Killmonger, who also happens to have Vegeta vibes.
He still threw jin off a cliff
Imagine that the MC in Tekken 9 is Kazuya
ANGEL JIN BETTER BE A DLC CHARACTER. OR AT LEAST COSMETIC FOR DEVIL JIN. ILL BE PISSED IF IT DONT HAPPEN
@@ErenYeager-zf3td they could just make them only available in offline mode, just like Jinpachi in Tekken 5 DR
@@ErenYeager-zf3td yeah, i mean, they could've just done that instead of making them unobtainable or somethin'
@ErenYeager-zf3td I mean. His moveset is literally the same as devil jin. Plus a few extra moves obviously but I'm not too sure why you think they'd copy and paste him online. Just dumb him down a bit it's not too hard
Jin be looking like a final fantasy character.😂😂😂
Yeah or devil may cry devil trigger form,a bit weird imo...
saint seiya
His Angel form looks like what if Warrior of Light got a power up indeed
He does look like he has a Warrior of Light type of armor :P
Saint Seiya dude
the entire journey brought us to this moment; TEKKEN 8 JIN AND KAZUYA
Oh, my goodness
This is just peak🤯
Seeing Jin accept each part of himself, having devil forms clash, and then going into base skill battle, and finally a battle of willpower...
This is lovely
The recreation of the iconic punch between them are so nostalgic. I Love it
Been a fan of the tekken franchise eversince I've had my ps1 (2006 I was 6 years old) ...sad and happy to see the series come to an end Mr. Katsuhira Harada u brought great memories into my life...
18:50 legit cried at this moment because tekken 3 was my first game and I screamed when Jin’s Theme played
I almost went to tears when it started playing his theme
No way! It was my first game as well!

And I thought the Kazuya vs Heihachi fight in Tekken 7 was badass but this fight blows it out the water.
THIS makes it THE LAST estranged father vs son karate battle in the entire series!!!
To me Kazuya Heihachi was more personal
kazuya vs heihachi had real weight to it t he entire franchise was building for that jin vs kazuya almost feels like we have beef because we have to....kazuya has no real reason to hate jin and vice versa to an extent honestly eddy gordo would have a more legit beef.
@@CAM8689 There is literally so much context to this fight it's crazy how you could say that.
@Miss._Jellyfish_ as a long time tekken player it's just not as impactful....it's cool.and all but heihachi and kazuya are the foundation...and the retconing of lore is another thing that hurt later tekkens in my view
i love that the fights dont just finish in one round like mk, they have multiple stages like its a dragon ball z fight.
I love mk I gotta agree with u I like these kind of endings like mortal kombat Armageddon they had the capacity go to stages to stages
I can clearly tell how much inspiration this has from dragon ball

I hope Miguel comes with dlc or the new Tekken, he had promised that in his T7 ending.
@@V1ert Me too. He was my main since his debut.
Can’t nobody say Jin character arc in this years Tekken is trash or terrible he fully redeemed himself as a full fledged hero, he started WW3 in T5 and the devil even acknowledged what he did was wrong and doing so only brought chaos and despair with Jin. As of right now Jin can fully control his devil and use it at any given point, and I strongly believe his devil isn’t as evil or malevolent he wanted Jin to accept his true self.
its like hulk to banner.
Except Kazuya was always a better and more loved character than jin sp it's really annoying that the series jyat tries endlessly to shove Jin down our throats when we'd nuch rather see a return to exploring the duality in kazuya and seeing him reclaim the goodness that is supposed to still be in him
@@supremeworld87Tekken 9 is redemption for kazuya for sure didn't u see a girl come too him could Jun and kazuya helping Jin Vs reina
They both lost devil while reina got it. How are they gonna beat that lmao
@@xbgsheikiii3593 I mean, Heihachi has repeatedly shown that you can fight on par with a devil without _being_ a devil
I noticed that Kazuya starts to show some doubts after both him and Jin loses the Devil Genes, he had a rather confused look when Jin parried his punches while using Jun's fighting style, like... almost remembering those moves when he met Jun in that fighting tournement all those years ago.
17:42
Kazuya's muscle flex is INSANE!!!!
Why Angel Jin designs looks like a Sagitarius Gold Saint Cloth from Saint Seiya? Lol
I said the same exact thing
Kinda has the same look of warrior of light from final fantasy except the blue color

More like Pegasus God Cloth .

@@Hilversumborn Right?!
The man was Karate Satan since Tekken 2 wtf lol
Has that friend not paid attention to the story...? At all?
My only disappointment is the lack of Kazama style moves while in this new Angel Form. Missed opportunity.
The Purification/holy power is already a Kazama trait.
@@loneblade9447Most of the problem was what he did in 6.
Thats what weighed on him mostly.
@newhybrid101 True but he wanted the Mishima since the beginning T4. His actions in T6 just added to the heavy burden that Jin was carrying on his shoulders.
The Tekken 3 throwbacks. Excellent touch.
Makes playing it THAT MUCH MORE FUN than playing a stupid football game!!!
They did justice with this fight, hands down the best they could do and more, went to all the extremes this honestly felt like finding the one piece

Jin got fuckin force fed the 16 pc chicken nugget meal from Kazuya holy shit💀 XD
All natural, no GMO
Imagine he did this to heihachi
The theme at 12:00 is so badass what an incredible end stage theme. Reminiscent of Heat Haze!
When Jin switch his fighting style to the Tekken 3 move list then his old them came in I had to roll up a fresh blunt shit was getting to epic. That music alone sends me back to 98. I love this game.
Anybody else get chills when Jin said he would "crush your delusions of grandeur" to kazuya?
It was cool to see Jin pull out all the stops, using everything he learned, different styles to show how much he grown, especially being driven by motivations that his father, Kazuya, never had. Jin had friends and allies while Kazuya only had enemies, knowing conflict and violence from what he suffered from his father, Heihachi.
It's amazing that no one has drawn a parallel with Shang Chi where he definitely changed his mother's fighting style
18:52 Major Tekken 3 Throwback !!
waited as far back as tekken tag 1 to see this happen, decades later it did not disappoint.
I love that they used Jin's theme from tekken 3 in that battle its amazing in the background.
Makes playing Tekken 8 THAT MUCH MORE FUN!!!
4:43 reminds me so much of DBZ Battle of Gods when Goku did the last stand, hell it's practically a splitting image of that moment and I just love it
Thanks for this video!
The Final Battle of Angel Jin, & TDK is like Heaven to 7's Hell.
I was expecting a biblically accurate Angel Jin
That would look fucking scary
Funny the multiple eyes is an angel thing
@c_2519 you say that as if the angel jin isn't scary enough!!! 😂
@user-tk9lx6ts4ndo you not know what a biblically accurate angel looks like
I will never forget this fight, in gaming history...
This represents more of the *The strength born from the wish to protect others and accepting oneself in the process is superior to the wish for pure strength alone"
Jins will is what made him overcome his father, he was losing in the final battle but the thought of losing his loved ones is what made him pull through. He got a second wind of energy because of it.
When you have responsibilities over others like most real fathers youll do anything for those your protecting breaking your own limits if you have to.
Kazuya doesnt understand that. He believes strength is strength but nothing will make him pull through like that responsibility.
Well said. Really reminds me of Dante's and Vergil's thematic conflict in Devil May Cry. ❤
Jin: U realise we lost our powers right?
Kazuya: No Sh!t Sherlock , but we ball anyway 😂😂😂
Kazuya: I still have these hands
Jin is complete character.

That odd moment when you remember that Tekken apparently shares the same universe as Street Fighter (which in itself shares itself with Darkstalkers and possibly Devil May Cry).😅
7:02 - The single most wholesome moment in the entire Tekken series.
I have literally dreamt of this fight since I was a child. Because these two always looked the same naked. I have always wanted this. This brought a tear down my eyes. So poetic and ironic. @@TheGoldenHawaiianSwordsmanDrag
For sure, Jin will have a badass wife, Xiaoyu.
Kinda poetic how in the bad ending, Kazuya becomes his father basically, even though he fought against him the entire series
Tekken 1 already had Kazuya throwing Heihachi to cliff.
@klockenberg2299 that's not what I meant. I meant become heihachi in every essence of character, not just one pivotal moment
That isn't the point for T8 final fight the point is that Jin moves on from Mishima's curse but Kazuya's still stuck in the past including him beating Heihachi in T7, it still haunts him
The fact they are under the rain and their hair stays the same is unbelievable and hilarious
