Hi Sweet Friends, Hope you enjoy this video where I go thrifting ...and more... in my neck of the woods. Hope you enjoy touring around the Texas Hill Country with me. Let me know if you would like to see more videos of this beautiful and charming area that ... this former New Yorker ... now calls home!! Love, Mary
Wimberley is such an amazing Hill Country Town we absolutely love it. We purchased a vacation home about a year ago and love exploring everything the town offers, such a hidden gem in the hill country
What a delight! That looked like a lovely little town and the Olive Groves were awesome. I got to see some Texas hill country without leaving Ohio! Thanks for sharing Mary.
Hi Willow, So glad you enjoyed "visiting" the Texas Hill Country!! It really is a lovely place and I will share more videos of this area in the future. Hope you are having a great week!! Love, Mary
Just beautiful country, I wish I lived there. Just peaceful and beautiful place mary, you are very lucky. Omg that cookware shop is heaven to me, I could spend hours in there and loads of money I just adore cook shops. I don't know if it's a girl thing but I'm definitely a girl and love shopping. Your husband is very lovely and has a wonderful smile, I just watch the video that you have done with him introducing him to us. Atm I am binge watching your videos from the beginning so I don't want to jump about n miss one. Love and blessings to you and your family x Jo 😊🤗

Wow! Texas hill countries are peaceful and beautiful! I wish I that kind of serenity here in Brooklyn, NY. Never been to Texas before and your video captures the beauty of it! Love kitchen wares, all those cast iron pans and Uber cookie cutters. I’ve never seen so many! Love to visit one of these days! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Valerie, Oh yes!! Hope you will visit. The Hill Country is so lovely!! I am a former New Yorker but so happy that I married a Texan!! Where are you in Texas? Love, Mary
OMGoodness! I never knew you lived in Texas! YAY! I thought I'd heard an East Coast accent (like maybe Jersey?). I might have some questions about the Hill Country as we might be headed that way soon. 😉
Yes Mary, we live in east Tennessee. I agree with you, we say it is so beautiful, God came here on the 7th day to rest. We have been here 8 years and we love it dearly.
The day looks beautiful and Oh The leaning Pear is so sweet, the food looked delicious. I saw some fine trinkets while you were thrifting.did you buy anything? Olives grow here too and we have vineyards. I love good local olive oil, it can’t be compared to supermarket bought. You had So many good ones to choose from 😊 I hope you like the basil one - I’m sure you will. Much love you you Mary Elissa 💕
Moat Cottage - Hi Elissa!! It was such a nice day. I didn’t buy anything though. I need to be so selective because I already have SO much stuff!! LOL!! Yes, the olive oil is great. People can’t believe it comes from Texas!! Your area sounds lovely too! Hope you are doing well!! Love, Mary ❤️😘❤️
Mary's Nest you were very good not to buy anything, it makes it all the more special when you do find something you actually need or really want. It’s so good finding good quality, local foods💕 Spring is warming up down here and bush fire season has begun already. Much love 😊
SO beautiful!!! I absolutely LOVED hittin' the road with you! You should do more of these, too! We have a motorhome and when we plan on visiting Texas, I'll let you know! My sister got her Master' Degree at UT -- "hook 'em horns" as she always used to joke! ;)

Hey Miss Mary, I really enjoyed your video, the Texas Hill country looks soo beautiful!! I luv looking thru little shops like that! Did you buy any new lodge cast iron ware? Thanks for bringing us with you and Ted today...the day and the weather was smiling on you both ❤️ Sending love from Australia 🇦🇺 ~ Adele xx
Hope Love Faith - Hi Adele!! Thanks SO much for visiting!!😀 it’s really lovely here. I didn’t buy anything that day. I have to be so selective because I already have SO much stuff!! LOL!! However, on a previous visit, I bought a new pan...it’s 12” Skillet and has short handles on each side. But I am not used to these new pans that are pre-seasoned!! I brought it home and scrubbed it and then did some of my own extra seasoning. Not sure I trust their seasoning!! LOL!! BTW...do you watch the Moat Cottage channel by Elissa? She is so sweet and has a homestead in Australia!! Thanks so much for being here!! Love, Mary❤️😘❤️
