To stop boil overs.....place a wood spoon over the top of your pan and it stops your pan from boiling over. Honest Mel it does work.
I must be doing something wrong, I do that and it still boils over 😂😂

@@sylvias9659......I tried the bamboo ones and for some reason they don't work. I have a wood spoon that denser than the bamboo ones and it works. Go figure? The other spoon is a darker color too.

I’ve never thought of mixing taco seasoning with panko crumbs. I want to try that. And it gives me idea to mix ranch in the bread crumbs too.

This would give you several meals and is quick, easy and easy clean up. I like to have leftovers for lunch or dinner thru the week.

Yes! I have learned this over the years too. I've always made what everyone else liked and I'm learning to not think of myself as an afterthought. Even if it's just prepping a big salad for myself for the week or a cup or two of steamed broccoli. We're worth the little extra effort. ❤️

I love each of these recipes. Sheet pans are nice and I just got a nice large one. I love vegetables but my husband does not so these meals are costomizable and easy clean up.

I heard if you put a wooden(?) spoon over the pot, it’s not supposed to boil over. I tried it. It worked sometimes.
That has been hit or miss for me too 🤣 That baking soda really like makes it poof up 🤣

For a real treat, after you (boil, broil, or roast) the broccoli, put butter on it then squeeze s lemon over it. YUM!

I've made several of your dishes and the favorite so far was the turkey breast in the crock pot, orange juice and cranberries, that gravy was the best ever!

Just a thought, & he'll probably prove me wrong just to spite me, but I think I know of something you can add to a sheet pan dinner that hubby might just like. Fresh carrots! 🥕😊 I just tried some on my roasted veggie sheet this past week and they were delicious! I liked the ones I cut pretty small the best. (like 2-inch long pieces that I then quartered) I seasoned them the same as the other veggies (Badia complete, garlic powder, s&p) but at the end (10-15 mins) I put a good amount of brown sugar on them. They were absolutely fantastic!! It reminded me of when I put sweet potatoes on the sheet pan meals. I doctor them up the same way at the end. Does Patrick like those since he likes a sweeter veggie? I got some excellent ideas and have some stuff I need to cook pretty soon and a sheet pan dinner is great for getting a decent quantity of food made in advance or headed for a freezer meal. Loved this video ❤. I’m with you with the chared broccoli !! Brussel spouts are EXCELLENT that way too. If you have a balsamic glaze put some on the broccoli or Brussel sprout’s a few minutes before your sheet pan meal is done. DELICIOUS!! 💕🙏🙏

Love me some sheet pan dinners! I make them frequently! But, I use parchment paper instead of foil / cooking spray. Our fave is sausage similar to what you used, plus cauliflower, yellow squash, zucchini, and carrots. I absolutely LOVE broccoli, but it doesn't love me! LOL. Sometimes I'll substitute with parsnips and turnips for a low carb option.
That sounds yummy, I love when the summer veggies are fresh for these sheet pan meals! Those are the best! And I haven't had turnips in so long, I used to eat them raw with saltines all the time ❤️
