Emma, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your videos. I've been on Mach 10 stress for 20 some years and have recently uncovered that i need to process my past traumas.. The bottom up approach is helping me and giving me HOPE
Thank you Emma! No wonder things like massage, reiki and any form of getting in touch with our senses helps with the relaxation response. So true......
I noticed on one of your links that you mention first of all being grounded in the gospel of christ and that was so encouraging to me. I became a Christian over 20 years ago but after going through a full hysterectomy 9 years ago I went through 1 of a few clinical depressions and generalized anxiety disorder caused by childhood trauma that I surpressed or pushed through the uncomfortable feelings and fears and I am still battling it again. I was doing some EMDR therapy and in January I start EMDR with a Christian therapist so that I hope will be helpful. It's the future fears and aging that bother me and I keep praying just to accept it and move forward. I am 55 and haven't a clue what direction to go in while I process this trauma and society says to reach for dreams and goals but I did so much for others that I neglected myself and now not having the financial security bothers me at this age because I have health issues and can't work fulltime. Please pray for me and thank you.
@@tygrizmusic still struggling and taking a different medication which helps with anxiety but still have issues with motivation and no interest. I have gained alot of weight because my doctor put me on prednisone for inflammation and then I caught covid and later it affected my knee and lower back so hard to even walk to burn off stress. I am now prediabetic and borderline hypothyroid. So fed up.

What can I do if I need to calm down during an exam?I have a lot of exam anxiety and during the tests, the fact the i have a timer ticking on my test screen worsens it.
I’m beginning to think that autism could be misdiagnosed with personality disorders. How would I know if my personality disorder puts me on the autism spectrum? Are they often mistaken for one another? And what is the rate of comorbidity between these conditions?
