Thanks Collin! Such a novice like me I gotta start watching you more. You saved my video project today in the first 2-minutes. Already a subscriber. I'm locked in! P.S...the Cohen Bros; I'm a big fan.

Hi Colin, your tutorials help me a lot, but one question for you. how you did this animation video between 0:08 to 0:19 and after this the 45 degree transition effect from left corner to right bottom, do you have any tutorial for that?

Recently I knew that it's possible to display on it a clip from the sequence, by dragging the clip from the sequence to the source monitor, so I can have two project monitor from one sequence.

double click the clip, it shows on the source monitor, take in mind that any changes done to the in or out point reflects on your clip in your sequence, you're directly editing the clip and not an in independent source

I have a question for you. My source monitor seems to be stuck in a zoomed in mode. My program monitor is fine but every clip that plays in the source monitor is zoomed in. My setting is on "fit" for the zoom setting so I can't figure out what is going on. Any ideas? It worked fine for months and somehow it is stuck like this now.

i never use the source monitor to cut clips, i do it on the timeline, strictly because i'm paranoid about using the same footage twice
