At the begining of our relationship everytime my boyfriend was angry at me I asked him if he is going to break up with me and even though he was still mad he reasured me that he is not planning to do that. After a while I stoped asking him this question so many times cause I started to develop more trust. We both are growing with each other and I love it.
This is so fucking sad. The fact that Chandler thought that just because of one fight that everything was over. He clearly didn't want things to end but because of probably past relationships where just any simple little mistake he made or that happened that caused a fight, the relationship just instantly ended. I can just imagine how Chandler in the past had that happen so many times that he simply just accepted the fact that it's something that is supposed to happen. Being constantly gaslighted and abused emotionally to the point where he is willing to give up the love of his life because of one fight, as that's something that always happened. And instead of freaking out and bursting out crying he just took it, bottled it down way down, and tried to be there for Monica to comfort her. Smiling throughout the whole thing, even laughing to make her feel like its not as serious. Even though you can only imagine his heart absolutely dying, he doesn't want this to be real and to happen. But then Monica said that it's something that doesn't happen and he just lit up with joy and relief. The look of awe that someone can actually love him even if mistakes were made. That he isn't expandable. The fact that he became so proud that things weren't over. That he hadn't fucked things up this time. But that things were okay. A relief that despite his flaws and insecurities he still has a chance for love. But not only that, he was also surprised that he was in a relationship now. His mind had been so corrupted by past experiences that he had no idea what love looked like. What a relationship actually meant. That love goes both ways. It's so sad to think that this is things that men go through every day. Feel like nobody can love them, but only you can give love. That you got everybody, but nobody got you.
