Forever THE Friends couple. David and Jennifer’s chemistry was out of this world. And the fact that they channeled their real feelings for each other into Ross and Rachel just made it all so real and so natural. Their break up scene in season 3 felt painfully real and David and Jennifer both admitted they were devastated filming it. As for Joey and Rachel: I’ve recently come across a comment where someone said Joey is better for Rachel because he “thinks she’s perfect”. Except… she’s not? Ross knows that and loves her exactly for who she is. Flaws and all. And vice versa.
The Joey and Rachel thing was a big wtf for me. I still can’t believe that was a thing. It annoyed me back then and it still annoys me now lol. Season 9 was such a waste in terms of Ross and Rachel. They really should have reunited them that season and set up a wedding in season 10. It would have made so much more sense!
I still can't belive despite the magic chemistry betwen them ; this amazing couple were broken up more than there were together in the show ..what a loss.
I know that's one thing that pissed me off the most about the show. I think they should have got back together as soon as Rachel found out she was pregnant with Emma or heck even before that. There should have been a Ross and Rachel wedding way before Monica and Chandler or Phoebe's wedding.
But what matters is they ended up together because it would be more of a loss if they remained together for a lot of time and didn't end up together bscs audience would have bored to see them together and writers would have decided to break them in the end for twist
Watching it over hits different. He had to relive the pain of that moment, which he tried to avoid by telling them he didn't want to watch it. That expression at 8:57 is even harder to accept and is soooo understandable because she just told him in present day, that they would never be together (shattering his dreams again). The prom video was the first time his dream was shattered, unbeknownst to Rachel 🥺🥺🥺
Exactly they broke up way to early and Ross was married again by s6 and then they weren't together until the end and i just wanted them together the whole time
They should have been back together when Rachel got pregnant. That was the perfect time. They could have shown us that story, them raising the baby, getting married and just being a healthy couple 🥺❤️
somewhere comment exists (not mine, just reposting): "Totally understand why writers had to keep RnR apart. The chemistry between those two was so strong" If no messy drama and stupid unforgiveness even for trivial... if not that script-driven show... RnR become clearly loving each othe family couple, and you wouldn't be waiting for them to stick them together (as they are pure magnets) Just adjust right polarity and everything become clickable in a moment (c) Physics
@@Curze123Yes, but the whole Joey and Rachel tried to become more than friends is just very unnecessary. It's okay and kendaraan sweet on season 8 (not the last episode).

While Monica and chandler had already planned out their lives with the kids. Just because they are boring doesn't mean they are a bad couple.
@Not Telling You would be playing with fire though. A relationship/romance is meant to be private and intimate. I don't think Jennifer and David would want to share it with the rest of the world. We were just lucky to get a taste of it in 1994-2004 after all, when they had to do it as Rachel and Ross on TV. Whatever makes them happy as well you know. I'm not stopping anybody from doing the right thing. Like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis did ... having their own reunion post-That 70s Show. So, it's not impossible or unlikely. It's up to what Jennifer and David want in the end ... and whether deciding to spend the rest of their lives together would be a good thing.
ikr i hated when they had their first terrible fight it made me cry when they were fighting like dat after Rachel found out Ross cheated he may have done it inspite of de break but hearing him beg on his knees for her forgiveness as a friends fan just hurt so bad
Their chemistry felt great and was great. And the fact that it was on and off makes it feel incredibly real and something the audience can relate too. Great work by the both of them.
I loved the chemistry between David and Jennifer ,that made the story of Ross and Rachel so wonderful ,true love always wins and the way they looked at each other was truly real ❤
we can all feel their chemistry, and find ourselves in their story at one point. this is just a masterpiece from the wonderful team . It is almost impossible to recreate a show like Friends,
This show was just SO Satisfying because of the depth of these characters, the complexity of their relationships - (all attesting to excellent writing) - & the top-notch delivery of these skilled actors! Every scene & every show STILL brings big laughs & a huge smile to my face! Great compilation & so fun to watch it again! If I could make a TV channel that played Friends 24 hours a day, I would AND I'd watch it! What a treasure this show was!
The whole series was an emotional rollercoaster, there were lots of funny events, but there was this Rachel+Ross dramatic thread in the background all along throughout the seasons & episodes. We were continuously rooting for these two to be a couple and stay together, and our heart was torn every time when we saw them struggle to get together, stay together, or get together again.
Oh. The best part when Rachel comes up and kiss Ross when she finds out about the Prom night... While you hearing all these screaming coming from the audience.... Seriously, it just deserved all these screaming!! Epic! 💖
Why was dressing up to take Rachel to prom such a big gesture? I mean isnt it just a casual thing you would do for a friend? I dont know much about American culture, so I've always wondered about this.
@@anmol9943 It's alright. We understand. Prom is a big deal, actually. You don't just dress up like casually. It's formal, both sides, guys and gals. So, it's no joke. It's a serious event. 💬🥰
When this show aired I didn't watch it because it was popular. I was too cool. Now I watch it every night before bed. It brings me to a time where the world was a much simpler place. It relaxes me. Best show of all time in my opinion. RIP James Michael Tyler (7th Friend).
love Ross and Rachel together! No other couple on this show had better chemistry, its magic! So glad that they ended up together, at least they had their happy ending on the show, in the fictional world. Too bad Jen and David didn't get together in real life, because they had feelings for each other but as David said himself ''couldn't do anything about it'' because of other people and the good of the show. Responsible decision, but not good for both of them, cause who knows...
@Russel Conor Some say Monica & Chandler had better chemistry ... but they obviously haven't been paying much attention now ... or back in 1994-2004. Otherwise Rachel and Ross would not have been written as Friends' first couple and romance ... as well as dedicating a *series finale* to their reunion.
even though they had great chemistry, i just can't stand ross. plus, their relationship had more or less zero redeeming qualities. I prefer chandler and monica

Their relationship is complicated but their chemistry says everything. The fact that they still had feelings for each other until season 10 is heartwarming, they tried dating to move on but they were meant to see each other no matter how hard their problems were..
Best Chemistry in Television History. I always knew that there is no chemistry without sympathy or love, but between these two it was felt that this is the greatest love in their life.
Few times in cinema are amazingly talented actors capable of pulling of such UNBELIEVABLE ❤❤❤❤❤ CHEMISTRY. TIMELESS, 30 YEARS LATER STILL AMAZING.Hence, the amazing success of the show.
The deep love between Rachel & Ross is so real and iconic to me. I am so touched by their relationship. It's amazing how "yuanfen" works. No matter what happens, they will end up together. I hope I can have such amazing chemistry with someone in the near future.
Yep. In season 4, Rachel says, "I guess I just thought one day we'd be back on again... again" and in season 6, Ross stops seeing Jill because he doesn't want to know that he and Rachel could never happen again.
Maybe Chandler and Monica in some ways were a couple more mature and responsible but they have never reached the level of chemistry of these two, because David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston had a feeling that crossed the limit of a tv show, the romantic tension in various scenes of the series was very emotional, for that Ross and Rachel are the most imperfect realistic couple in tv history, no doubt about it.
it gives me chills their love story is so beautiful and sad at the same time it's a shame that they both suffered so much love should be stronger than anything

After watching friends reunion them telling that they had a crush with each other but didn't do anything about it cause didn't have a time to give it a shot because at some point either of them is in a relationship . Is like them as Rachel and Ross where Everytime its complicated the only difference is in the show they really end up together even have little cuddles after every scene 🥺♥️
Does anybody else watch the Joey and Rachel scenes and cringe, because I know I do. I'm so glad the writers and producers came to their senses and stopped that because I swear if they would have ended up together I probably would've stopped watching Friends. When Rachel walks into Ross's apartment and says I got off the plane, one of the best moments in TV history 👍👍
IRL I met my “Rachel” when I was 31 (1999). Over the years she would drift closer…..and then farther apart. Then when I was 40 we became very close and it looked like things were finally headed in the right direction for good……then she moved to Japan for six months. When she got back she completely drifted in another direction and at that point I finally decided to move on…. Now at 56 (and still single) we are still very good friends…..but I still hold out hope that we will end up together someday…. It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since we first met, I love you Erika.
I feel they would be perfect for each other in real life. David would treat Jennifer really well as you can see on and off screen how much they adore and respect each other. The fact that they once had a big crush on each other shows they still have feelings for each other as when they were talking on the reunion the chemistry is still so much there. You never know they may realize one day they are right for each other and finally get together
After all they been through I was amazed that they brought them back together at the end on this show. Rachel and Ross are my two favorite characters. Chandler and Monica were my most as well favorite characters on this show.
I never saw friends before..I recently just watched it all when it got on Netflix. I would like to say.. David did a phenomenal job.. The character was made for David and he nailed it.. The chemistry between Ross and rachel is magical.. Such a beautiful chemistry ,no one could reach to that level. Laugh and pain and again laugh whole season that is something huge.. Just like that 18 pages letter front and back!! I don't know why everyone were saying some bad things for David before, I didn't saw any flaws with him.. He did that role perfectly.. Just perfectly nothing less nothing more.. When I was watching friends I was so into it.. I wanted more.. I just want more of friends.. I never wanted them to end this series.. This was not just a eentertainment show it was a bigger than that.. It was a emotion.. And everybody did their job brilliantly.. Words are short to praise the F. R. I. E. N. D. S.
of all of the dramas I've ever watched so far, there is no other drama can beat this 'Friends'. And of course I've been watching this drama even with countless time, I always feel comfortable that feels like I'm home. I just wanna say thank u for actors, actresses and producers, also other people in this drama. stay safe, stay healthy! 😄
Their love story is real and believable. It’s dramatic but most related to real life relationship. Their chemistry is strong, and it feels like they are each other’s destiny. Yes, they are each other’s lobster.
Friends & Ross and Rachel will forever be my favorite show and couple. Nothing can top these two. I love them together and as friends. They are entertaining to watch. Cried so any times when they broke up and the last episode. The reunion got me emotional too. I just enjoy their story :) Thank you writers and cast. I will forever love this series and continue to watch the show till the day I die.
I can't help but too felt heartfelt and teary eyed due to Rachel and Ross love story as it's so raw, pure, genuine, deep, believable, relatable, and emotional as they been through up's and down's but despite that they never stop loving each other truly and dearly as they are meant to be together forever. 😭🥺😞 Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer both did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Rachel Green and Ross Geller as they both put tons of emotion and depth into their roles.😍👍😎💯🥺😭😞
0:31 man I love this scene for some reason, I mean apart from the fact that Jennifer looked stunning with her hair like that. But that school-like crush confession sort of thing just resonates with me a lot. Also David and Jen have that chemistry that was enticing to watch
Beautiful Ross & Rachel's love story ❤❤ Even tough it’s a sitcom and characters overreact most of the time we can see the ups and downs of a relationship. Many times we can’t act as adults. We make a tempest in a teapot. And we take bad decisions … Thanks for that special lovely chemistry between Jen and David ❤️ Absolutely captivating no matter what 💘💘
Chandler and Monica have been together as a couple for about 6 seasons but I have never felt the intimacy, love, romance and passion between them like Ross and Rachel did. Ross and Rachel were separated for most of the series and yet they were the best couple. One romantic scene between Ross and Rachel equals every Monica and Chandler story together. Ross and Rachel were the reason why I watched the whole series to see when they got back together.
Well, to me it's the contrary. Ross and Rachel story is very well writed and wonderfully played but I cannot see the connection between the actors, whereas I can see it between Cox and Perry.
I know they have great chemistry as Ross and Rachel, but the writers made them have a toxic relationship so the show could keep going. But the confession that they have crush on each other but hold their feelings, makes me obsessed with Jen and David.
My wife and I have watched the entire season atleast 40 times over. We always left at the same scenes. Rehearse the same lines. We always laugh no matter how many times we’ve seen it.
this is the best couple in tv history that I've ever loved. I think that their love crossed the limit of chemistry on-screen ever. I came to 'Friends'' for this couple.
This is more like Jen and David's History too :( Imagine the power if they become a real couple. Maybe it didn't work with anyone else because they are each other's lobster after all. Never too late!

@@JessKM i agree with you
Even the cast didn’t like Joey and Rachel. Specifically Matt Leblanc iirc.
@@IsThisThePrizeIveWaitedFor exactly
Joey and Rachel eww it was the worst part of the show
I still can't belive despite the magic chemistry betwen them ; this amazing couple were broken up more than there were together in the show ..what a loss.
I know that's one thing that pissed me off the most about the show. I think they should have got back together as soon as Rachel found out she was pregnant with Emma or heck even before that. There should have been a Ross and Rachel wedding way before Monica and Chandler or Phoebe's wedding.
@@nibora4895 I think the perfect moment should have been that time they kissed after the birth of Emma.
@@iykeharrison9161 😂😂byby😂ssw
But what matters is they ended up together because it would be more of a loss if they remained together for a lot of time and didn't end up together bscs audience would have bored to see them together and writers would have decided to break them in the end for twist
8:57 That touched my heart, the way ross couldn't explain the pain and love
True
Watching it over hits different. He had to relive the pain of that moment, which he tried to avoid by telling them he didn't want to watch it. That expression at 8:57 is even harder to accept and is soooo understandable because she just told him in present day, that they would never be together (shattering his dreams again). The prom video was the first time his dream was shattered, unbeknownst to Rachel 🥺🥺🥺
I’m a complete sucker for Ross & Rachel. They’re so good together…and even when they’re apart.
I’m glad they got them back together at the end.
I will never forgive the writers for making this relationship way more complicated than it had to be
That’s why this show was so brillant. The two clearly being in love for years but not getting each other was the best thing ever
Exactly they broke up way to early and Ross was married again by s6 and then they weren't together until the end and i just wanted them together the whole time
They should have been back together when Rachel got pregnant. That was the perfect time. They could have shown us that story, them raising the baby, getting married and just being a healthy couple 🥺❤️
somewhere comment exists (not mine, just reposting):
"Totally understand why writers had to keep RnR apart. The chemistry between those two was so strong"
If no messy drama and stupid unforgiveness even for trivial... if not that script-driven show...
RnR become clearly loving each othe family couple, and you wouldn't be waiting for them to stick them together (as they are pure magnets)
Just adjust right polarity and everything become clickable in a moment (c) Physics
@@Curze123Yes, but the whole Joey and Rachel tried to become more than friends is just very unnecessary. It's okay and kendaraan sweet on season 8 (not the last episode).
The chemistry is so REAL!! I HOPE IN THE REAL LIFE THEY WILL BE TOGETHER

so wish the rumours true n they were together
That's ridiculous, it's only TV.

Not better than Sam and Diane 🤗
I just can't get over how well acted the scene after 24:04 is. All their history, all that raw emotion. The way Ross kisses her gets me every time. And the look on her face afterwards... as she realizes that there's no other way. Damn.

for me it's the scene at 26:01
The onliest scene of the 236 episodes where I cried for real.

Ross & Rachel, The Greatest Tv Couple of all time
Let's not get ahead of yourself lmao. They were all sorts of toxic
@@newbeeify ah yes, the known 'they were toxic' argument. Maybe add 'Chandler and Monica were a lot better couple' argument cause we've never heard that one too
Oh, for sure. Not even writers' ridiculous decisions during later seasons could have changed that.
@Vivienne Perez blah blah blah they were a shit couple
@@pawepetek7294 chandler and Monica were a better couple and it's a fact! Ross and Rachel till the end did not know what they wanted. Who knows in all these they wouldn't have broken up and gotten back together a billion times already. I already imagine their kids being put through divorces.
While Monica and chandler had already planned out their lives with the kids. Just because they are boring doesn't mean they are a bad couple.
David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston have an amazing chemistry
I mean Jen is single, David is single and they once had a crush on each other. Imagine the power move if they got together now, irl.
It's up to what Jennifer and David want in the end ... and whether deciding to spend the rest of their lives together would be a good thing.
it doesn't mean that they still like eachother tho there have been many instances where people liked eachother in the past but dont anymore

She deserves love of this kind in real life too. She is such an angel!
The story was great. But their acting made it the greatest relationship on screen.
Great yes, but I think there was still a lot of lost potential
Yes
Rachel and Ross are the reasons why I and my girl friends got hooked on friends. Their chemistry is one of a kind. Admire both of them so much.
ikr i hated when they had their first terrible fight it made me cry when they were fighting like dat after Rachel found out Ross cheated he may have done it inspite of de break but hearing him beg on his knees for her forgiveness as a friends fan just hurt so bad
It is almost impossible to recreate a show like Friends,
it started and ended with Rachel's phone message
Ross got on the plane
Rachel got off the plane
This show was just SO Satisfying because of the depth of these characters, the complexity of their relationships - (all attesting to excellent writing) - & the top-notch delivery of these skilled actors! Every scene & every show STILL brings big laughs & a huge smile to my face! Great compilation & so fun to watch it again! If I could make a TV channel that played Friends 24 hours a day, I would AND I'd watch it! What a treasure this show was!
The amount of cred this editor should get is insane! Its soooo good... i mean I'm here crying
The whole series was an emotional rollercoaster,
there were lots of funny events,
but there was this Rachel+Ross dramatic thread in the background all along throughout the seasons & episodes.
We were continuously rooting for these two to be a couple and stay together,
and our heart was torn every time when we saw them struggle to get together, stay together, or get together again.
11:00 They always talked about "we were on a break" but I never actually knew when that break began. Now I finally know 😂

@@anmol9943
It's alright. We understand. Prom is a big deal, actually. You don't just dress up like casually. It's formal, both sides, guys and gals. So, it's no joke. It's a serious event. 💬🥰
It's super weird hearing different music over these scenes I've watched hundreds of times. 😆

love Ross and Rachel together!
Me too...

@@dvchel Mondler just get love because they are not as messy but that also makes them boring. If they were the lead couple this show would have ended way sooner. They lack the chemistry and memorable moments
The perfect love story. Unpredictable and, whether they were together or not, full of love for each other.
I love them , I love Rachel , I love Ross ! I don’t even understand how people can not love Rachel and love them together! They are literally everything .
Their relationship is complicated but their chemistry says everything. The fact that they still had feelings for each other until season 10 is heartwarming, they tried dating to move on but they were meant to see each other no matter how hard their problems were..
WOW, both of them are excellent actors! They conveyed the full range of emotions people experience in real life going through a relationship.
the “ i get off the plane” give me goosebumps
You fell asleep? line gets me every time when Rachel says it lol
I watched this show as a child and all my dreams of adulthood was shaped by it ❤️
My wife and daughter never understand why I love this Friends drama so much, but it keep reminding me to love my family more as days goes by.
Best Chemistry in Television History. I always knew that there is no chemistry without sympathy or love, but between these two it was felt that this is the greatest love in their life.
Jenn and David never really acting to be Ross and Rachel....they chemistry is real and forever it will never been change💞
After the reunion it made a whole lot more sense why their "technical" kisses didn't ever seem that technical
Few times in cinema are amazingly talented actors capable of pulling of such UNBELIEVABLE ❤❤❤❤❤ CHEMISTRY. TIMELESS, 30 YEARS LATER STILL AMAZING.Hence, the amazing success of the show.
I know this video isn’t about Matthew but thankyou for the laughs. Rest in peace
The deep love between Rachel & Ross is so real and iconic to me. I am so touched by their relationship. It's amazing how "yuanfen" works. No matter what happens, they will end up together. I hope I can have such amazing chemistry with someone in the near future.
I think deep down Ross and Rachel knew from the beginning that they would get back together
Yep. In season 4, Rachel says, "I guess I just thought one day we'd be back on again... again" and in season 6, Ross stops seeing Jill because he doesn't want to know that he and Rachel could never happen again.
Maybe Chandler and Monica in some ways were a couple more mature and responsible but they have never reached the level of chemistry of these two, because David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston had a feeling that crossed the limit of a tv show,
the romantic tension in various scenes of the series was very emotional, for that Ross and Rachel are the most imperfect realistic couple in tv history, no doubt about it.
Chandler and monica were kinda a too boring for me specially from season 7 to season 10
@@knowitall1005 Almost all couples after wedding become monotone and boring.

How come after so many years and rewatches, I still cry at the end when they get back together🥲

Rachel and Joey had no romantic chemistry at all, they were better off as friends.
The worst idea ever introduced in the series. Made me mad and almost destroyed my love for the show. Like seriously what were they thinking?
14:08 my favorite moment of all times, i know every single word of it, and i love it. friends is never getting old.

I hope she see that and u guys get a happy ending ❤
I feel they would be perfect for each other in real life. David would treat Jennifer really well as you can see on and off screen how much they adore and respect each other. The fact that they once had a big crush on each other shows they still have feelings for each other as when they were talking on the reunion the chemistry is still so much there. You never know they may realize one day they are right for each other and finally get together
After all they been through I was amazed that they brought them back together at the end on this show. Rachel and Ross are my two favorite characters. Chandler and Monica were my most as well favorite characters on this show.
David & Jennifer Had Perfect Chemistry...Their Acting Was Flawless....Their Relationship Was Sooooo Well Written & Real!!
watched the series ten times over, memorized almost every single line, yet this video still made my eyes water. God, I love F.R.I.E.N.D.S.!
Amazing video. I didn't realise it was 10 years of their story.
PS. I love Rachel outfits in all the seasons.
Their love story is real and believable. It’s dramatic but most related to real life relationship. Their chemistry is strong, and it feels like they are each other’s destiny. Yes, they are each other’s lobster.
I cried all the time I saw these scenes of them, I don't know but no film could make me feel like this.
Friends & Ross and Rachel will forever be my favorite show and couple. Nothing can top these two.
I love them together and as friends. They are entertaining to watch. Cried so any times when they broke up and the last episode.
The reunion got me emotional too. I just enjoy their story :)
Thank you writers and cast. I will forever love this series and continue to watch the show till the day I die.
Aniston and Schwimmer are the masters of romantic physical comedy
How did Ross and Rachel's graceful 10-season love-story fit under a 30 min clip? Either way, gotta love the chronological order of events❤👌
They had real feelings for each other, so they acted it out on the show.
Well, to me it's the contrary. Ross and Rachel story is very well writed and wonderfully played but I cannot see the connection between the actors, whereas I can see it between Cox and Perry.
Exactly Monica and Chandler had way better chemistry and connected together so well. Ross and Rachel felt a bit of a mismatch
Yup
You seem to be able to feel the chemistry between them...it is though it is real.
I still cry on that break up scene! Never gets old. 🥺
