Shop Stuff No. 6 - Gage Pins NOT to Buy

While these pins seem adequate, the packaging is NOT. While looking on E-Bay I did see a guy offering these pins for a discount BECAUSE they had been dislodged in transit. These though were being sold as fine.

My father was a machinist, and boy did I find out real quick that it was a bad idea to pack hardened items together loosely. He was, let's just say, less than pleased. Then again, I was about 12 years old. No excuse for a manufacturer/reseller to package ANY tools this way.

I came here because I was getting ready to buy a full set of Shars up to 1.000". I saw you had the Shars pins out at first and I was getting worried until you brought out the second set. Have the Shars been good to you?

If you don't mind my saying, I wouldn't trust that mic to read tenths accurately. Horrible packaging, I agree. No excuse for it. Good luck.
