Welcome to Nepal. You guys arrived in Nepal around the festival of Gathemangal. People wear metal ring on that day & lots of worshipping for Indigenous people Newar. Wearing metal ring to keep demons, ghost etc. etc. away. In short to keep negative energy & diseases away.
Wow FINALLY you guys made it to Another Country…. Nepal is a Beautiful place too 👍👍✌️👌👋🙏🙌💕🇺🇸
Extremely beautiful 😍
thanks for calling my country beautiful, love from Nepal
Wow Nepal is so lively! Looks like we’re in for another treat from you guys! The Nepali shirts suit you well Adam. Yaz looking lovely as always. Take care guys!
🤘
As a filipino, I'm so overwhelmed watching the textile markets .Wanna go there and get one
You’re always welcome here...
This is why I shop outside Thamel only. Everything is cheaper outside of Thamel in the shops like that. Only thing worth buying in Thamel is jackets in my opinion, and maybe paintings.
Glad you made it safe guys.🙏 That's a great decision to explore Nepal. Love to see the rest of your adventures. Missing you guys discovering Philippines 🇵🇭 more but looking forward to discovering 🇳🇵 Nepal with you⛰️
Thanks so much Rick for sticking around and watching our next travel series! We appreciate it 🙏🏼❤️
Ohh wow… great to know that you guys were in Nepal🙏 Hope you enjoyed exploring our country nepal❤️ Lots of love both of you…
Hello again from the guy in Oregon. For clarity, that's a snow leopard on the 50 rupee note, a sambar deer (Rusa unicolor) on the 20, a chital deer (Axis axis) on the 10 and a yak on the 5 rupee note. Like Pokhara, Kathmandu has changed a lot over time -- 50 years ago, Kathmandu had a population of just 160,000 with a small-town vibe surrounded by agriculture, few private cars and no motorcycles at all although many more bicycles and rickshaws. Rooms for rent on Freak Street were 6 rupees a night, all you could eat dal bhat 3 rupees and a cup of milk tea everywhere only 25 paisa (1/4 rupee). So yeah, different economy back then. Looking forward to your other posts from Nepal. Best wishes.
Back in 1982 Monumental Lodge on Freak St was Rs3 per night if you stayed for 3 months 🙂 and that was the top floor room with a balcony. 🙏
Music was too good brother.. ❤️👍 shoutout to your vlog.. welcome 🙏 Nepal 🇳🇵
Hi Adam & Yaz, my wife and I have been following your vlogs for sometime now. We love all your features in the Philippines especially Cebu bec my wife is from there but living in NZ now. Ive been to the Phills 8 times so far and been to quite a few places but thanks to your awsome videos there are a lot more places we will go to now. We watched your Nepal vlog tonight, thanks for that as its a country you dont hear much about, even though nz has close relationship with Nepal. Thanks again guys, we always look forward to tuning into your channel. best regards to you both from us here in New Zealand.
Wow so good to know that, thank you so much! We can’t wait to come to New Zealand one day soon! It’s very high up on our list 😊 thank you for watching 🙏🏼
@@adamandyaz NZ borders are fully open now, but it's the middle of winter here (cold and wet) so not the best time to come unless you're totally into skiing or snowboarding - Best time for best weather is between Nov and April.
Namasti! Thaks guy's bringing us in your journey in Nepal... Wow! That is cheap! Guy's show us more about Nepal...
Animals on notes
5 rupees - Yak (not bison -no bison in Nepal)
10 - Black buck
50 - Snow leopard (again no cheetah in Nepal)
Ahh amazing thank you 🙏🏼

@@mikegggg222 yeah that's fact let it be they also bring money back to phillippines to the locals specially the touristy area. It's brings locals source of money as well when this vloggers visit their places .at least we can say the money as well that this foreign vloggers spend here in phillippines brings food to the tables specially those places visited by tourist look how Cebu become city it's because of Thier tourism industry Cebu is the most visited place in Phillipines .look how its economic .fast growing because of tourist flocking .pilipinos being addicted to media it brings market look how this British couples and vloggers flock to phillippines. at least it's also boost phillippines tourism.not all vloggers have gained lots of subscribers here in phillippines look at Adam and yaz with 16k subscribers for 2 months staying in Phillipines some might have gained but some no. Check all of them Ive also seen couple vloggers and single vloggers who don't gained much Subsciber here in phillippines.

So much unlucky that you fly over Nepal and couldn't see mountain peaks above sky shining. It's such sight to behold.
I agree. The first time I flew to Nepal the Himalayas were so clear - it was a sight I will never forget and brought tears to my eyes.
Trust me you will visit “Rara lake”and you will be a 1st vloger who visit Rara lake
Really its very very beautiful and like another world heaven
Warmest welcome guy's ❤
Welcome to Nepal 🇳🇵❣️
Not sure what made you decide to buy cloths .. whatever you are wearing is just fine !! Bikini might draw more attention than you would like but other than that even locals wear tank tops .. shorts .. t-shirts .. etc !! You would need a little warmer cloths if you decide to go up higher in the mountains… !! For cities like Kathmandu or Pokhara or any bigger cities u can wear what you like - it’s summer !! It’s hot !! Hope you enjoy your stay !!
We were under the impression having never been here before that it was very conservative in terms of dress code but actually having been here for a while we can see that's not necessarily the case. Thank you so much 😊
@@adamandyaz Nepal is pretty safe place for travelers !! Even solo travelers find it safe here. The hustle and bustle is only Kathmandu. Once you step out of the Kathmandu valley it’s quiet and it’s all nature !!
If you are planning to stay in Kathmandu for couple of days then watch for some scammers. There are scammers from India who briefly live in the city, scam tourists and disappear before authorities can get them .. the locals can identify them coz they can’t speak Nepali but for tourists it’s hard to differentiate... !! Don’t fall for people who say they are practicing English or it’s festival and they want to show you something… there’s a festival everyday in Nepal … Same thing with some beggars in the streets of Kathmandu- they come from neighboring countries - hard to believe 😔
Good luck with the EBC trek !! Hope the weather stays clear during your trek !!
Take care guys, hoping you climb Everest Base Camp haha , Thank you for visiting the Philippines
We didn’t realise base camp is over 5,000 metres high! Crazy!
Wow on the $12 room !! Not only huge but it looks really nice too
Such a bargain and perfect location ☺️
When you buy, also keep in mind that these people are prob. struggling to make a living in an underdeveloped country unlike in UK, so paying extra and not bargaining for too low prices would help them a lot to survive and thrive for their everyday needs.
welcome to Nepal.. hope u guys enjoy here
Thank you! ☺️
Visit Rara lake,Khaptad national park 🏞,Pokhara,Bardeya national park, chandragiri hill, birth place of buddha-Lumbani and others so many places
Nepalma swagat chha. Welcome to Nepal. Nice vlog. I first visited Nepal in 1982 and have been back many times since then and planning to return again in February 2023. The currency notes are often known locally by the animal on the back, so Rs1000 note is known as a Hati (Elephant). Rs500 is Bagh (Tiger). Rs100 is Gaida (Rhino) etc. The machetes you saw are known as Kukri (or Khukuri in Nepali). It is the national weapon of Nepal and symbol for the Nepali army. Traditionally part of the Gurkha/Gorkha culture. The British army's famed Gurkha regiment has the crossed Khukuri as a symbol of the regiment and as a badge on their cap. They come in different sizes and can be found and are used in almost every Nepali home. As a fighting weapon, tradition has it that once it is drawn from its sheath it must draw blood before being returned to the sheath!!!! But these days its use is multi purpose from slaughtering a goat to chopping firewood to cutting meat and vegetables etc. You might do better at bargaining by not asking for "last price" straight off - they will just ask for your "first price". Nepalis love to haggle/bargain in a friendly way (except of course in a "Fixed Price" shop, when generally they have good prices anyway but offer better quality). If the seller asks for 1200, wait for a moment, think about it, then offer just over half, i.e. about 650/700. The seller may then ask for 950 and you come back with 750. He then may come down to 850/950 as a "last price" and your "last price" will be 800. If he still asks for more or if you're still not happy, thank the seller and start to walk away. He may then offer you his real "last price" of 800. 🙂 He will be happy for a sale and you will be happy with your bargain. Remember he is working long hours (probably 7 days a week), has survived the devastating effect of covid lockdowns and even at full price is not making a big profit and even at full price it will still be worth it for you as a westerner. Subha Nepali yatra. Happy Nepali travels.🙏
How sweetly you written... love from Nepal 💚
@@bigiiboy5997 Love from New Zealand💚
Many kiwis been to Nepal, Its amazing when people recognise Nepal when I tell them im from there. However few Maori people says Nepolian when i tell them where im from 🤦🏻♀️😊
@@aishwaryashrestha8357 kia ora 🙏 Maori culture and Nepali culture have many things in common.😊
@@NewZman23 yes in context of closeness of family and community but I don’t think our culture is similar and even within Nepal our culture is different with different ethnic groups.
Love Nepal🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵 ❤❤❤❤🙏🤗
Welcome to Nepal. 🇳🇵
It is hard to find any t shirt below Rs. 500 in Nepal (cheapest being Rs. 300 for Nepal made plain/printed cotton tshirts and 500-600 for a jersey t shirt).
I found it interesting that you bargained the outfit to Rs 500, it's harder for even the Nepali to bring down the price that much 😂
Any tshirt between Rs 800-1600 and pants between Rs 1200-2800 is reasonable. The prices here are double than in India, or the adjoining countries. Nepal is expensive even for the Nepali people, even more now that the fuel prices have gone up.
While you are here try the Nepali local foods: Dal bhat, Newari foods, Jujudhau (king of yogurts) and Momo (pronounced Momo, even if plural). Try local resturants for the authentic flavour.
Wow ok thank you so much for that information. That makes so much sense now! Good to know we got a good deal with the clothes then 😄
when you go buying goods you have to do more bargaining, they will give you huge discount
God, you guys bargain better than Nepalese themselves haha.
Love from Barcelona.
Liverpool is actually a great city to visit
Omg my fave country i wanted to visit when i go out of the country for the first time and trek to foothills of Himalayas. Surely be watching this travel series. Take care guys! Be back to PH soon!
