Wellcome to Malaysia ❤ just subscribed your channel😊
Its great, not mistake at all for non muslim visit Malaysia during ramadhan.. you may enjoy food at non muslim stalll at morning and enjoy overwhelmed bazar ramadhan at evening. Even may try to join them having meal together at any food court during night..
Are your trying to escape the terrible economy of UK?
Thank you so much! 😃
The mistake was missing the ferry not ramadan haha but thank you 😃
many tourists return back to malaysia during ramadan. mostly to experienced ramadan it self. in other words, ramadan also helps Malaysia's tourism sector. all sectors run as usual, will not affect the tourists. bazaar ramadan will start usually 4pm everyday throughout the month. and malay/muslim restaurants open from evening to night.
Brother and sister from uk, there is no problem in Ramadhan. Just go to non Muslim restaurants. Furthermore, during dinner, there will be normalcy again. I just went to a Muslim Indian restaurant , no queues and food was aplenty as Muslims break their fast at home, some will takeaway to consume later. Just that breakfast may not be available. Buy your bread and jam and coffee. I had a great time eating at 6.30 pm. In normal days, not enough food or too many people.
Yes. thats true.
No problem at all. The mistake was missing the ferry not ramadan haha 😆
@Adam & Yaz cannot be helped. they have a schedule to run per day. Furthermore, your time was not set correctly.
heyy.. you can eat every where you want.. this is muslim country, ISLAM meant is (easy) .. not extreme ..im in kl now
Ramadan is probs the best time to be in Malaysia- just wait till you see how things light up around 5-6pm! Buzzzzing Ramadan Bazaars man.
Buzzzzzzzzzinggggggg ☪️
Nothin is a mistake during Ramadhan actually you’ll learn more of our culture and variety of food as well because during Ramadhan there’s a lot of food that’ll not be seen in normal day only during Ramadhan and if you lucky enough to get to Eid or Hari Raya that must be new experience for you guys to see us celebrate Eid here 🙏🏻 thank you for visiting my beloved country ❤️
I just got here last night March 23, 2023 first day of Ramadan and my driver from Grab Van Service and he just broke his fast right after he picked us up at the Airport and went to the Mosque to Pray while we waited in his Van. Nice Guy.
@@12567NoYouCannot you can enter the mosque if you would love to brother.. no one will stop you.. and hopefully you’ll learn more about Malaysia 🙏🏻🥰
Its not a mistake dear friend, you'll be amazed and surprised with the variety of food during breaking fast time, go to Ramadhan bazaar, 👍😁♥️🇲🇾
The mistake was missing the ferry not ramadan haha 😃
Welcome to Malaysia. Do travel all over Malaysia including the Borneo part of Malaysia. Enjoy your stay. (oh by the way... here is a tip when reading Malay writing, the 'C' in roti 'Canai' is pronounced with 'Ch' in the Malaysian/Indonesian spelling... so its pronouced "Chanai" like in "China") - referring to 11:00
Ah yes we know now! C=Ch haha 😃 terimah kasih

We will try for sure 😃
Since its the fasting month for the muslims, you have a choice of Indian food is leans more towards vegetarian food. Then around 4pm onwards you can visit the ramadan bazaar where you'd be spoilt for choice. FYI roti canai(pronounced as cha-nai).
Love indian food! 😃
You two deserved more subscribers....

That is one of the most famous food in Malaysia (Roti Canai) and there's quite a variety of them as well (Eg: Roti Telur, Roti Pisang, Roti Bom, etc)
So you guys gonna be in Langkawi .. can't wait for your video in Langkawi island itself. It's really awesome and when you're in Langkawi don't forget to go for thr Cable Car ride in Mount Mat Chinchang.. it was once the longest cable car in south east Asia... And at the cable car foot hill the is a Cultural Village which is really awesome and you guys will love it. Now stay safe guys. Enjoy yourselves

its actually the best time. go check out the ramadhan bazaars... and by the way it is a multiracial country, half of our country need food during the day 😂 dont worry we got u covered there. welcome!
Not worried about the food at all, we should have booked the ticket in advance somehow though haha
Hi,
Welcome 🤗 ,
There's no problem for non Muslim to enjoy their meal , most tourist come here for Ramadan,
They want to experience the way this country with multiracial and multireligion and believe live together with harmony,
In Ramadan, I recommend u to be within KL ,
Because, many spot for tourist to visit during the day , dawn , and nightlife,
Avoid overrated place for food,
The best? It's the Bazar Ramadan itself, street food heaven for this month .
Feels free to poke and ask anyone on the streets, most Malaysian can speak English .
(Those looking like mix indian maybe not Malaysian or UNHCR refugee here)
Anyway, enjoy your visit .
Be safe .
Hi! Thanks for the recommendations 😃
Guys. Ramadhan food bazaar in whole malaysia is the best time. Eventho langkawi ramadhan food stall from 5-7pm is buzzing.. And tourist love them.. Ipoh penang kl has a lot of non muslim restaurant, stall, cafe so during day hours, u have good access to food
Ohhh okay we will check it out thank you 😃
Roti canai nombor 2 street food in the world 2023..try go Bazaar Ramadhan..try sate.. Malaysia Burger Ramly Burger.salam Ramadhan

I think you did a bit of a roundabout going to Langkawi. You could've taken a mini to Satun on the west coast of Thailand (approx. 2.5 hours from Songkhla) and then take a ferry direct to Langkawi.
You are very good ...hope you happy ..
Iced teh tarik would be my favourite

OMG I literally would have missed my train today without that video 🫣 I've crossed Thai/ Malay border so many times but hadn't in mind that there's a time difference at all. It would have been a nightmare to find another transport to catch my flight to Sri Lanka in time. You guys (and the you tube algorithm 😅) saved my trip 🙏🏼
Haha wow thats amazing! Glad we could be of service 😃😂
Langkawi island is the most popular and most visited island in malaysia..tq make this video.
No, the most visited island is Penang.
welcome to Malaysia...don't forget eat ramly burger and roti john
OMG, I miss roti john during Ramadan!
I don't think we can eat there because we are vegan but thank you 😃 ❤️
Nice trip I guess. Enjoy in Langkawi. Duty free island

Oooooh okay thank you 😃
_Selamat datang_ welcome to malaysia. Though you bungled it on the time zone and missed your ferry ride, but you two lovebirds are right on time to be in malaysia instead of in thailand, for some serious ramadhan bazaar-hopping!
Here you can sample a plethora of local traditional malay delicacies, some of which you cannot find outside of the month, yummmmmm! 😋
Please don't forget and forego this experience whether in langkawi or in KL or wherever, and eat lots and lots for me!!! Oh no, I'm truly beginning to miss those food now! 😔 Anyway, remember the best times to go to any ramadhan bazaar would be between 4 to 6pm, and that's *malaysian* time okay! Er maybe on the 1st day you should go just slightly later at 5pm because these guys may not be fully ready yet. But don't get there after 630, lots of the goodies would be gone just like your originally-planned ferry!
Oh another thing, yes yaz, forearms, foreheads, foreclosures, they are *ALL* meant to sweat, or make you sweat!
Now be safe and have fun! 👍
We definitely bungled it! 😆 Thank you so much for the recommendations and for watching 😃💕
"c" in malay is always pronounced "ch" like in chair, so it's roti 'cha'nai, not 'ka'nai
Yep we know now haha 😅
Welcome to Malaysia
Terimah Kasih! 😃
Plus themfast food and normal chaimn outlet such as secret recipe, old town will be open
Yes they are 😃
welcome to malaysia❤
Roti canai is pronounced as chanai like cha-cha. Our pronunciation of the letters are consistent as compared to English so once you remember the pronunciation of each letters, you can pretty much pronounce all the words correctly.😂
what phone are you using? the video quality is so good
Haha it's not a phone but thank you (Sony A7c)
guys, you can take a taxi from Padang Besar straight to Kuala Perlis, it's shorther in distance but i don't know how much it going to cost now...
Yeh we knew that but thought train would be quicker, oh well haha 😅
Dont miss out to go to bazaar ramadhan and enjoy a lot of malaysian food...❤❤❤
Hi bro welcome to Malaysia actually welcome to Langkawi you will have many choices in here you can visit Bazar Ramadan in there you can get more local food and drinks in there
Langkawi is amazing 😄
Nice 👍 mukbang Yammy bro namestay well come to Malaysia ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you, Namestay!
Somehow RUclips recommended this video, uh we are having hottest weather around this year so try to not stay outside under the sun too long
Thank you for watching it! it's very very hot haha 😂
FYI some of the different types of sambal/sauce (like you had in the video) may contain ground anchovies (ikan bilis) or prawn seasoning (belacan) in it, just in case you want to avoid consuming meats.
There used to be a ferry service from 🇹🇭 direct to Langkawi not sure if it's still in service 🤔
We did check with the nice man before that it was vegetarian but thank you we will double check next time as well 😃
When u go to KL, You should go to Pavilion Bukit Jalil
Roti canai recently ranked 2nd as the best street food in the world by tasteatlas
Should be no. 1 haha 😆
It's always top 2....
You are not wrong. It did rank no 1 by other independent food experts.
Ha ha..don't despair. You can try look for chinese restaurants for breakfast and lunch (Maybe head to Penang as there are more Malaysian Chinese communities there - easier) . Then at around 4pm, go to Ramadhan Bazaar - all over Malaysia. When life gives you lemon, make lemonade.
The mistake was missing the ferry not ramadan haha but thank you for the recommendation 😃
Selamat Datang 🎉
