Let us not differentiate between countries and ethnicity.
We all can refrain from being framed and one has the knowledge to identify scammers.
All we can do is avoid such people.
You got good and bad people everywhere🤞

      3. install apps namely pathao and in driver( these apps basically act as ubers for us so you can have a fixed rate and you don't need to bargain)

Why shiva consumes weed: its association with Mahadev is quite the simple tale of literal medicinal use. According to Atharva Veda, Cannabis is one of the five most sacred plants. It was during the Samudra Manthan when Lord Shiva first discovered it.
Legend says that during the Samudra Manthan, devas (gods) and rakshasas (monsters) shook the ocean to obtain Amrut (a drink to immortality). However, due to the constant churning, Halahala, a lethal poison was released that threatened all creation.
To protect everyone, Lord Shiva drank this poison, which even got him the name of Neelkanth (blue throat). In order to soothe the pain, he was offered bhang (seeds and leaves of cannabis). Much of the medicinal lore around weed comes from such stories where Lord Shiva uses the plant to cure an ailment.

You were nearly spot on about the pottery cups… They use them for drinking and then they just smashed them afterwards… I’ve seen them in India where the Chai makers give out their Chai tea and then the cups are just discarded

Ayo! I was scammed by the same guy, ROHIT. I was planning to make the same video about him but I felt like maybe I was overreacting. He sold me a Thangka which was a pretty painting but he and his friend followed me to my hotel asking for more money and I felt really uncomfortable… I’m Nepali raised in America btw and I’m sorry this happened to you to.

@Kautubh Basnet, I think you don't have to apologize for the Nepali guy. I did come across a few scums around the Thamel area, a few locals, and some Chinese who married the locals....some donation scams happened during the 2015 earthquake. But personally, I still think this is a wonderful country and Nepali are some of the nicest people. Most are genuine, loyal, and humble, with only a few rotten apples that screw the good name. I'm really looking forward to going to this beautiful country again. Btw, be careful with those offering henna drawings too, mostly are scams too. Cheers!

Very nice video. At least we know that we still need to be careful. But one thing which make me laugh is the guitar thing and your reaction was like "music??? Huh??" Lolol...oh well just take this as an experience. Luckily you are good and safe.

its the general stereotype of us of the foreigners that they are rich. So foreigners are most venerable to such scams. Not to worry its not like that everywhere. Its a beautiful country with mostly beautiful hearted, friendly and sometimes shy people. Stay safe and have a great trip.

Touching video! I been to KTM thrice as Indian and love Nepal overall, but cannot stand and have no tolerance for such people that scam others like unfortunately happened to this foreigner. No matter how destitute one is nobody as that shall ever ever dare to get something out of someone or take advantage of one's kindness or naivety period. Bad karma to the scammers or ulterior motive folks no matter how much they suffer or are destitute. In video, I saw a Samar Group on a building and my name is Samar lol.

No body in Nepal has heard about this festival. And the hashish smokin festival isn't on October it's around March April
