He's absolutely spot on with his timing, and he added creative new bits and pieces to the original drummer's recipe. And of course the playing, songwriting, and singing was on another level with Queensryche. You nailed this. Very inspiring. Amazing. Excellent drumming. In my youth I favored the drumming of the likes of Candlemass and Dark Angel. But in my more mature and tempered years, Queensryche's music is phenomenal and Good. Simplicity is Purity
I just came across this video yesterday....been about 5 years since I saw your videos, and for the longest time I couldn't remember your name....so here you are and I'm glad I found this video.....now that I know how to save videos, I will start a list of yours.....
His timing is impeccable,as any drummers should be,but you can tell he could easily lay down tracks without a click track and be totally in sync with the click. I always loved recording in the studio because it sounds so damn crisp, clear & massive through ear buds or headphones.I only saw Queensryche once, but they're one of those bands that have always sounded just as good live as they do in the studio or on an album and that is something that alot of bands just can't do,IMO.Enjoyed this one.
I'm a retired producer and I could tell he missed some major accents. Definitely not discounting his skill level but he didn't hit the mark on this song as the great Scott Rockenfield
That was all kinds of kick ass! Beautiful kit, too. I started drumming in the 5th grade, and played until 2004ish. Traded in for a guitar. I'm still a drummer at heart. I loved Queensryche. Still do. I highly enjoyed this.
I first want to say that I wish when I first started playing drums that I had you as my teacher, I love your drum style whether you are playing the black kit w/the red drum heads or the silver w/red, the crispness of your snare is awesome. I have enjoyed watching a lot of your videos but I am mostly impressed with this video and the tribute to Neal Peart on Roll the Bones, I could see you taking over where Neil left off. Yes nobody exactly can take Neil's place ever but your uniqueness can definitely take his place, just my feelings. I recall reading the Empire drums were recorded in an airplane hangar. They are the most epic sounding drums from that era as far as I'm concerned - not even comparable to much else really. And of course the playing, songwriting, and singing was on another level with Queensryche. You nailed this. Very inspiring. Now I need to listen to what I always thought might've been the best few minutes of music recorded in the 90s, at least that I was familiar with: the long version of Anybody Listening?
They would lucky to have you. Your kit sounds so good. Much love and respect from Baltimore as always.
Awesome!!🤘
When he's good at drumming, he can get the beat of any song. Aquiles is an excellent drummer with a phenomenal technique.
Esse Aquiles é foda queria ver ele tocando Sole survivor - Helloween
Bem lembrado, esse som é PHODA pra caralho...
Eagle Fly Free tbm é monstra!!!
First of all, perfect. Second of all, those drums sound amazing!!!! Really makes me appreciate how important the Drum part was to that song.
Wow, unfortunately I'm not musicly inclined but I can appreciate talent.
Just listened to a couple of their songs. I listen to them a lot....love Queensryche!!Saw them, 5, 6 times, back in the day.
Шикарно!!!!
Absolutely fantastic! Great art played by one of greatest ever! 🦾🤘🏾🇧🇷
I praise GOD I'm saved and going to Heaven. Please pray for me Nathan and my family in JESUS NAME Amen.
Amazing. Excellent drumming. In my youth I favored the drumming of the likes of Candlemass and Dark Angel. But in my more mature and tempered years, Queensryche's music is phenomenal and Good. Simplicity is Purity
Loved this song Since I got the album when it first came out, The Drums pull you into it like few songs can, Truly a Work of Art!
Your drum sound is powerful, clear on point and beautiful 🙏 thank you there you rock as always man 😎👍💪👊
I just came across this video yesterday....been about 5 years since I saw your videos, and for the longest time I couldn't remember your name....so here you are and I'm glad I found this video.....now that I know how to save videos, I will start a list of yours.....
Ive seen them 3 times, Las Vegas, Omaha, and the most recent in Nashville with Priest. One of my fav bands ever.
Pqp!!! Ficou sensacional!!! Eu adoro esse música. Parabéns Mestre, como sempre, arrasou. 🤘
Que som de caixa insano é esse!!!!!
Rock in roll na veia!!!
Love this song and era of music. Great job 👌
Excellent, just excellent !!! 😎👍
When I heard both of the song's I mentioned I could feel Neil smiling down on you as I was smiling. I'm a fan now of yours
I love the fill at around 3:26. Great performance Aquiles!
As a drummer myself; this is fucking EPIC! You put on a clinic here man. Thank you!
Reminds me of my favorite jet city woman, My kids mom! Love love Cat!
