  • Senator Bernie Sanders directly calls out Republican Senator Bill Cassidy and the entire GOP for refusing to address the immediate and long-term challenges facing public school teachers. Sanders blasts the GOP for ignoring the financial problems public school teachers face, dismissing children that are suffering in harsh realities and so much more. Sanders delivers a powerful speech wanting to support public school teachers in epic fashion.

Who said republicans want a successful democracy? I think it's pretty obvious that republicans (and right wing in general all around the world) wants to keep the general population uneducated so they are easier to control and manipulate. Also why, they are anti-abortion. The more children a family has, the less ability they will have to raise them properly and offer each one of them, proper education.

Why try, when you DON'T GET PAID, let alone have Any support. ? Why, who would do that ? Those teachers that try get tossed out everyday. Why would anyone deal with that ? Teachers are smart people. They get worn out like any of us would. Why do they care when everthing around them doesn't. Go make a living, nobody needs this.

According to whom? Stop using old and conservative talking points and think logically. Districts containing mainly low income families, single income families, families that fall below the poverty line, etc are just as poor if not poorer that the district. People working 2 jobs don’t have time to go to their kids school, their working to put food on the table and take care of their kids. Parents showing up is great but they need FUNDING & that comes from the government. Funding is the root cause to all of it.
