If you can't see or won't acknowledge the crimes and violations trump has committed then your blind, deaf and stupid all on purpose.
To say trump isn't going to be held accountable for any crime would essentially undo any prior president who committed any crime meaning Nixon would still be president which would mean every president after is an illegitimate president. Any president can commit crimes and not be held accountable. The constitution actually talks about no person(s) is above the law not even president's. So the scotus is in violation of the constitution itself. That means they are supposed to be removed from their positions for the violation of their oaths and the constitution. If that doesn't happen then no laws matter and they cannot hold any person(s) accountable for any crime.

The January 6 Committee was legitimate, legal, Constitutional AND it was bi-partisan with the only two Republicans that were applied for the committee that WEREN'T deliberately part of the Sedition Caucus that enabled and participated it in the first place. Empty Greene's attempts to delegitimize the committee are hollow, because she was PART of it. A Bank Robber doesn't get to scoff at the prosecution and fact-finding that proved them bank robbers.
Comer wants the recordings that have a clear and legal transcript so they can snip out audio bytes to use as ammunition in their craven and deranged attacks on Biden to try to normalize Trump's failure as a human being. They don't NEED the recordings and they know it. Their feeble attempts to try to paint this as 'obstruction' and 'contempt' is as nakedly transparent as it gets. This isn't about 'oversight', this is about attacks and ammunition. Because they can't win elections honestly, because they can't recognize and accept the facts, they have to make things up in order to try to make themselves look good. It's not working.
The Republican 'act' to strip the DC council of its rights is a nakedly transparent power grab to make sure that DC never gets its chance to become an actual US state, and so the Republicans can prevent it from having any impact on elections as they know it will.
