    you can warm up the vinegar and it speeds up the process to only 3-4 days. I like to add cinnamon sticks for smell. Orange and cinnamon is so soothing to my nose nowindays.

    a tip that you maybe already know. but you can peel your carrots with less waste by kind of scraping them with a pairing knife. that way you don't loose as much of the...umm...meat(?) if you're not gonna make a broth of course. although i usually just leave the peel on cause it takes less time. i'm sure it's full of nutrients.

    Your food always looks so delightful. I would have maybe left out the darker microgreens as they blend in with the brown so it initially looked like it leaked a little out of the pumpkin rings. That may just be on video though, colours often translate so much better in photography!

    Hi Gittemary!
    I hope that you see this comment.
    I would love to hear your thoughts on fidget toys. I am autistic and i am really struggling right now and are considering buying my self some sensory things to help me. I do have some things as stuffed animals and weighded blanket and other blankets already. I got all those things before I got really invested in sustainability and sustainability content in general. I feel like the sensory things I already have do not help me enough right now and I have felt that way for a very long time. Yet I am hesitent to buy fidgets or sennsory thing because of how big inpact they have. Do you have any suggestions on how I can help fill my sensory needs in a sustainable way ?

    Wow, I'm surprised vinegar isn't available in glass in Denmark! I live in the US, and there are medium to large glass bottles of vinegar available (I did decide on a very large plastic jug recently because it was so much cheaper and available closer to where I live, so I definitely empathize with the large plastic jug of vinegar!).

    is there pros n cons to freezing the orange/citrus peel over letting it jut dry out naturally (before putting it in vinegar).. it very dry were I live - they wont go moldy while drying...

    • @Gittemary
      @Gittemary  Год назад

      I would just put them fresh into the vinegar - no need to dry them before, I put them in the freezer because I didn’t want them to go bad before I got my hands on my vinegar (which I didn’t know I would be getting the same day hehe)

      Leaving them for +-a week on your fruit bowl very often does the trick! Just have to be a bit patient. And of course not every pear will ripen, but mine very often do (im from the Netherlands)

    My 9 year old is vegetarian (not vegan). This is all new to me personally. Can anyone steer me in the right direction of what vitamins/amounts she needs to take outside her normal mulit vitamin? I'm going to research all answers myself before giving her anything, so don't worry.

      I would recommend consulting with a specialist in kids’ nutrition - if it was myself I would get a blood test, and focus on a balanced diet, as you don’t necessarily need any supplements as a vegetarian, however for children I would want to make sure by seeking professional help 😊🌿
