It's a great printer. The built-in heater is perhaps the best feature in my opinion. At least, for my use. It is so cold here for 5 months that I get bad results on my other printer.
I think one of my friends has that exact 3D printer. He made some Warhammer 40K and his own lightsaber with it that I know of. Great video, and Gundam should get a sponsor for 3D printers 😁.
Coming from FDM (filament), I've been plotting to get a resin printer because of their ability to replicate finer details. I also like the idea of not running my Ender with its heated bed during the summer. I don't entirely trust the filter on any resin printer, but I'd still love to use one, just so long as it's near a window attached to a dryer vent.
I've got the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra on order. The GKtwo still sounds like the better printer but the main benefit is that heated print chamber but where I live that's not really necessary. The 4 Ultra seems a little more noob friendly but that always comes at a cost.
Oh my goodness, I think itsagundam has a hobby channel. News to me. Do you have a "Beginners Guide" playlist for getting into 3d printing anywhere? I couldn't find one. If not do you have a suggestion on a channel / playlist / books to get started? I'm struggling through how much information there is and I'm not sure what's worth listening to. I wish to avoid as many financial blunders as possible. Thank you for your time!
Could you use the UltraSonic clearner for large batch cleaning for Gunpla pieces? I have a FDM priner and I love it. Mostly use it for printing out Peg Board paint bottle holders.
I have a chemical burn on my hand that has been there for three years now... that chemical burn is from my glove ripping while working with photopolymer resin. DON'T... not even once.
They already have plans to release a GKThree so maybe wait if you want to have a Uniformation printer. I don't see the hype in this overpriced printer that only have one linear rail and internally have the same technology of a Saturn 8K that cost $300 two years ago. What you really need to learn in resin printing to get good prints its how to orient and support the models so you don't get layer shift like the one you have in the hair of the black cat
I love your sponsorship but sadly this company only has the one printer. Every other printer company has an entry level option for ~300 or less. Even a complete noob to the hobby can get extreme detail out of those cheap ones. More detail than they will ever need.
Pappa Gundam must've got some sleep or some excellent vitamins, recently. Coming through with an Itsagunpla video. Thank you for all you do, sir.
Great timing, more 3D printer manufacturers need to advertise as GW implodes.
Damned shame that Papa Gundam’s Gunpla Channel is CRIMINALLY underrated. On a side note, WHAT THE HELL IS A CELSIUS? 🤣
World war losers use it to show up late to the moon
Celsius does not exist. It can not hurt you.
It's for those people who are mystified by FREEDOM units.
@@doesntmatter5857 Okay, whew… * Sees Celsius in the room with me * ☹️😳😱
Celcius = (5/9) (farenheit - 32)
I'm just here for the camera work and production values. Printer sounds awesome, though.
Its amazing to see a good review for something without anyone dragging it out to 15 minutes lol. Thanks for the video!
Looks rad, I was legit eyeing one of these off and i think this will make me pull the trigger.

Thank you. I'm researching before my 1st printer purchase. This is exactly what I need to see.
Papa G has me wanting one of these BAD!
The figures look great! Thanks for the review. I can't wait for the Toriyama tribute video. The sneak peek/peak photos were great.

wow this printer looks amazing. the UV lamp looks like a better quality than mine. I may have to look into this one. Thanks
I hear nothing but good things about this model..but then you go and print off one SEXY Goku...I am now officially sold. 😂
Thank you.
Nice!! 3d printing is a trip, you can now print metal I heard, not sure how well it works.
contemplating this exact printer. we always buy the same tools. its crazy
The Blackcat, though not 100% perfect, still looks fantastic 👌.
Love me some plug and play printers!
I'm glad you get to play with cool new toys, I hope you, your pets and all your toys can Escape from New York.
Dang didnt knew 3D printing takes alot work to get right thanks for the video Pappa Gundam.
Nice vid Gundam
Gundam you are amazing.
I keep hearing the GKtwo is a cut above when it comes to resin printing
It better be for the price point
@@Mrthedragonkiller facts. If I could I would definitely have one
@@phattdwilliams7576 Amen brother
seems like i can invest in 3d printing figure with this
Are you gonna check out the zeta ver ka? Or that narrative?
Would you be doing future tutorials on this? Is it loud?
I humbly request a recommended print settings video
It sucks your main channel is mostly rage bait but this channel shows a better side of you I see more passion in commentary and editing these videos

i have had a tab for the GKtwo open forever now waiting till i can afford on e
Neato
Where's his live today??? Been waiting for a week😁
THERE'S A GUNDAM DOWN HERE!
Right in time for the self-destruction of GW.
There is disabled miniatures would you like some?
Just to clarify: The print plate is a hollow box
Print them WH40k minis now that GW jacked up the prices
Where do you get the dragon ball files from my older bro is looking for one
Nice
I have a space heater in my resin printer room. Easier than buying a $1k resin printer just to get a heated vat
i wonder what i have wron,, my GKtwo has 2,4 s exposure time
Saturn 4 is the new king on the block. Sorry GK2.
HA. 3:50 that did NOT look like Goku's legs, or Bulma's work uniform...
I have a chemical burn on my hand that has been there for three years now... that chemical burn is from my glove ripping while working with photopolymer resin.
DON'T... not even once.
1.5lbs is about 700grams, not 7kilograms.
*0.7 kilograms

Uniformation is too expensive.

I'm just curious how well they would print lower receivers
Resin is too brittle for that. What you are looking for is an X1Carbon
@@ViktorPalosi Thanks, looked around a while back and most of the "start up guides" were recommending old models from years ago
Great review
