- Hey everyone. I am disappointed that I had to make another video addressing the harassment I've been receiving online, but I can only take so much & he's gone too far. Not only is he faking Tourette's, but he's bullying and hurting so many people. This needs to stop.

As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder only, which is far from true. I hope this video will educate you on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (:

Carly, trolls like this ‘apologize’ or say something nice to get under your armor so they can hurt you further. Never trust a massive troll. They will gaslight the crap out of you. Honestly, you have enough evidence, i would contact someone in the uk. The authorities. They have strict laws there about this, and while normally i don’t support censorship, genuinely dangerous, monstrous people need to be dealt with on a legal level

Agree. I don't think it really counts as "censorship" when the words and actions being policed are deliberately harmful, untruthful, or malicious. Those are just natural and deserved consequences for abusing a platform to be hateful.

Omg, I cannot believe this fool is still screwing with you. I had really hoped that once you called them out on it that it would be enough to shame him into stopping.
The whole thing of “I’m secretly diagnosed, not even my parents know because I’d be in trouble.” was just so, so bizarre. I was afraid he was going to keep joining your Patreon under different names and just keep stalking you - I had no idea he had expanding his circle of harassment and in such a vicious way. Someone really needs to stop him. He is clearly harming other people, and while he is likely mentally ill that does not shield him from responsibility for his actions or the results of those actions.
Unfortunately it seems like he’s likely lying about being 19. He’s clearly very immature. And unfortunately I think the only way to stop things like this is for him to have real repercussions. Since you know his identity, you should be able to contact UK authorities somehow and let them know this person is doing illegal things and harassing others. I wish I knew how to go about that, but hopefully someone knows how. I’m sorry you and the community have to go through this 🖤

I don't know what the laws are where you live (I live in the U.S), but I would look into it. There may be legal recourse for stalking/harassment/threats. Plus, if the cops detain Joshua, there is a possibility that he could be psychologically evaluated. Surely he doesn't have Tourette's Syndrome, but I wouldn't be shocked if he had some sort of scaling delusional behavior or Narcissistic Personality Disorder (none of which would condone his behavior). This vile obsession with neurodivergent people is grossly bizarre are concerning.
There are little tells he's giving off that tell me explicitly he's not 19. At best he's probably 16 at most

I started watching you because my nibling was diagnosed with Tourette's at age seven. I'm AuDHD myself and do have some maybe tics? hah, not sure, but yeah. Thanks for being so open and honest and speaking your truth. You're doing everything right, thank you for bringing light to this bully. This is ridiculous. I wish people would understand how debilitating Tourette's is. My son is 14 and has tourettes and developed coprolalia during a massive full body tic attack. He gets really upset when someone says that Tourette's isint real, or it's for attention. He has said many times, who would want Tourette's to interfere with everyday life. It's been a challenge for him and the rest of our family. His sisters are struggling. My son also has ADHD, severe OCD, ODD and generalized anxiety disorder. He takes 3 meds daily, 1 being a psychotic. I don't understand why people would ever want to fake it. BTW, we love you! Your videos have helped my son and me. I watch them at night when he is sleeping because even just hearing you sets off his tics.

you are allowed to talk about this, dont let him silence you, i recognise him i have spoken to him previously , i dont use tik tok so i cant block him on it but yeah ive spoken to him before on discord and it sucks that this has happened but it confirms the gut feeling i had about him whilst chatting with him ages ago (no longer on my friends list or inbox though)

Also in regards to taking it to the authorities, I think you have a good chance of showing how he's repeatedly making new accounts to harass you. He has a very distinct writing style (if that's what I would even call it), so you can see consistency across profiles he's used.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. If at all possible, I recommend taking this to a lawyer to see what can be done to combat the harassment. Obviously he has problems, but those are his to deal with and playing nice with inconsiderate, attention-seeking adults won't work. As for you, please take good care of yourself during all of this. Dealing with people who hurt others for clout is exhausting, and keeping yourself mentally well is your best bet defense against these attacks.

You have all the power and you have followers that adore you that will always have your back. Don’t give him one more minute of your video time…remember any attention is good attention for trolls and nasty people. Not sure if you'll see this, but I've got a question about one of your tics. I'm genuinely curious. When you make the "Heh" sound, is that a verbal tic, or is it part of a physical tic? I'm not sure if my question made since, so I'll make a small comparison.
One of the symptoms of the condition I have is muscle spasms ranging from mild to fill on body jerking. If the jerking occurs while I'm inhaling or yawning, I sometimes make a squeaking or huffing sound because of the sudden movment pulling on things. (And yes; it can be painfil when it happens.) Is it like that, or is it a separate tic?
talked to him directly in a discord call on another youtuber's server and he claimed that TS wasn't even real. how can someone fake something if it isn't real lol. also he mocked my tics while in the call. he basically just fakeclaims everyone who has tics. he doesn't care if you're diagnosed or not, medicated or not, he just likes bullying people for no reason.

Hi, how does Tic Toc allow this to go on? They should have more people that get involved in finding these people and removing them. Can the police be involved in arresting him for trying to get someone to unalive themselves? I just don't understand how they allow this to go on. I'm sorry for what he has done to you. I hope you can get something done about this jerk. He doesn't deserve to be on this platform or for that matter any platform where he is trying to get someone to hurt themselves. I understand you reading his DM but I’m surprised you replied and even went as far as to accept an apology. It’s maybe because you’re so young, but please know you don’t owe it to anyone to be nice. If something seems off, you block, ignore, whatever. Online and in real life. Your safety and wellbeing come first.

He seems like he is a minor, mentally unwell, and possibly lacking IRL support systems. And likely wholly un-credible to anyone but maybe others in that same demographic.
Honestly the chances of being able to do anything about it are slim IMO, beyond continuously reinforcing healthy boundaries by blocking/reporting him and any accounts he reaches out to you with (rather than responding to messages, cause honestly who cares what he has to say or even if he’s sorry? Especially if you had recent evidence of continued toxic behavior).
It’s just extremely difficult to convince someone to just leave the internet or to enforce the law, especially when users live in two different countries (which it sounds like is the case here?).
I can understand your frustration. I have DID and that online community is full to the brim with young, immature, toxic, disrespectful, malingering, misinformation peddlers who are extremely aggressive. He might accumulate an audience of similarly misguided minors, but ultimately the people whose mindsets and opinions are mature enough to make a difference will likely seek out more mature content, and you can make sure you’re there to provide it.
In my opinion, there comes a point where you have to rise above it and just keep strengthening your boundaries to protect your mental health. As well as encouraging people to block or report toxic/bullying content. The advice to ignore him isn’t necessarily to make him stop, bc no one really can control that, but it’s about protecting yourself and your mental health. Issuing a warning about that user seems pretty reasonable, but honestly I still think your best bet is constructing as strong a digital barrier between you and this person as you can. And, of course, taking care of your own mental health in whatever way you need IRL.
Because the greatest “weapon” against content like his is informative, accurate, grounded, compassionate, nuanced content. And your content ticks those boxes! 💓

I am highly doubtful that this person is legally an adult. I know the brain isn't technically fully developed until around the mid to late 20s (not that it necessarily even makes a difference), but I just can't believe that someone older than a high schooler would do this...
I have a genuine diagnosis of tourette's and I have a genuine diagnosis of PANDAS when I got told all the time it was FND when it's not and I knew for a long time but I got gaslined got told all the time I was faking but I'm glad I have new doctors that are actually listening and I go for pandas IV treatment next month❤ and hopefully my seizure is hallucinations and fear will stop because it stopped everything from what I love and that's something you cannot fake and that's something I would never make up or fake
And I don't post online much because it's my privacy and it's my right and I don't have to share online if I don't want to But I have definite evidence that I have pandas and I have definite evidence that I've had tourette's for 10 plus years!

I went through 10 plus years undiagnosed went 10 plus years being told it was anxiety. It was stress WHEN IT WASN'T I couldn't stop ticing I couldn't stop hurting myself! I should have been diagnosed with tourette's at 25 but I got diagnosed by my new specialist at 30 years old and I'm 37 now. I still have difficulty every day with my tics and for people to fake Tourettes is disgusting this person is obviously disgusting. I hope he gets the psychological therapy and help he needs. Neurological disorders are not fun to have and when we thought it was FND I got diagnosed with PANDAS and that's something you cannot fake at all
