For predators, use your tightest chokes and lead #4 buckshot. I’ve had mixed results with lead BB and larger buckshot, but #4 buck in a 3” shell is unbeatable for calling in predators. I personally use XFull turkey chokes and can anchor a coyote out to 50 yards without question. Haven’t tried any further because I carry rifle and shotgun to my sets. If you are expecting raccoons, bobcat, or grey fox you can get by with lead BB. Coyotes seem to soak up lead BB and require another shot to anchor them.
Thanks for the review! I’m looking for a quail gun and was understandably curious about this model.

thank you for that. I will take another look at the 4 buck. I have a box of it and will make up some loads and test them. this cz seems like a nice gun and is only getting better, if you get one I hope you get a good one.

Got one of the bobwhite g2 when they came out in a dainty little 20 ga. Fell head over heels for it on rabbit hunting with beagles and flushing birds, i highly encourage you to talk to your friend at the shooting club. Those english stocks on those guns are low on the comb height and that can really mess up someones gun mount if they dont understand it, kinda like an archer brings the string or knuckle or kisser button to the same spot every time, that stock should hit your cheek/face the same spot every time, and you should be concentrating on the target and the rest just happens naturally, shoot where its gonna be and dont stop swinging, i bet with a little more time and instruction you might be hitting moving targets and not pay attention to either sight, i think you are in for a fun and enlightening journey with your shotgun, best of luck👍

maybe, but for now I really love those sights. there is one positon at the clay throwers on my rifle range that throws the clay really hard right, im not sure if its supposed to do that or not, but it goes 4 times faster than the others, and even on that one, its 50/50 if I use the sights or not and I hit it most of the time.

If you're going to swap your rear sight for a pistol rear sight, consider trying an XS sight. I've found that the shallow V of the XS gives me enough of an aiming reference while maintaining my horizontal vision line for leading flying targets.

ill have to take a look at one of those. i usually like a regular notch, but for fast shooting I like a wider notch to let more light in. probably very similar to the shallow v notch id guess

Oddly enough CZ does not seem offer shotguns here in Europe. Is that Bobwhite made in Europe or is it American made?
