- just a brief update on the Mustang guys. last thing I did was the battery tray and group 65 battery. today I am cleaning the idle air control valve to try to correct an intermittent fast idle like 2000 RPM sometimes more at stop lights. I use the Amsoil power foam, while not expressly recommended for this purpose. use at your own risk. Amsoil products available at my link: www.number1synt...
I also share the verse of the day. check out my friends where he specializes in short videos on small engine repair: @vikingerik80

IAC cleaning is definitely a great idea!
That is one nice mustang!
Thank you!! I would love to completely restore but for now I'm just happy to keep it running!
@@MikeTrullAmsoildealer you have a real pony car. Not one that is chock full of electronics and headaches. Have you seen the prices of 5.0’s? They are going up!
It wouldn't hurt to spray cleaner on the throttle body and even the MAF. Maybe even a tuneup and run the upper cylinder lubricant with the octane booster and the pi cleaner in the gas tank.
Thank you for the tips! Yeah those Amsoil fuel additives are definitely helpful www.amsoil.com/c/fuel-additives/16/?zo=1463115
I liked the video very much. Did you happen to notice if it helped to increase your speed and/or your mileage?
I enjoyed your video very much. I was just wondering if you thought it would increase your speed and/or your mileage
Thanks for watching and commenting! I'm not sure about the fuel mileage just yet or any extra power but it does seen to improve drivability which is nice.
