as a 56 yr old bi-sexual, I'm having trouble here. I've always been androgynous (well my version); was fully involved in the S&M scene in the 80s and also neurodivergent; we fought against the reclaiming of the word queer and there really is no need to reclaim slurs in 2024, I still find it offensive. I also find the word gender offensive, no one thinks your sex is assigned at birth and there is plenty of room to form your own identity within the definitions of male and female, labels are for histrionics. I'm not sure which events you're not welcome at, gender critical events above all are screaming out for opposing speakers, but you say it's confusing with all the labels in a show called 50 shades of gender, perhaps I'm missing a huge irony here. As for polyamory, we used to call that orgies, but now it has about a 150 names designed to confuse and make people feel like they're thick or behind the times, no wonder there's so much anger.
