Hey, I'm not very good with Aerith so I STRUGGLED with this. Hopefully this video helps anyone running into the same problems!
I'm just pumping out some random FF7 Rebirth content. The videos will get better eventually... Maybe. I'm trying my best!

I got 4400 by equipping the FURY RING. I could only get 2000 prior to doing that.

@@norberto_r I had to use the speed demon key cain for hard mode though.

Aerith is always in my party so I actually know how her basic mechanics work. Her tempest when done in wards (in general she does it, but for this mini game it has to be done in Wards) actually charges up this attack that releases a Fleeting Familiar (if it hits) that buffs all of Aerith's abilities except Sorceror's Storm. Fleeting Familiars can also stack up twice. It also cancels when you finish a combo so it finishes quicker. I also found Chrono Aegis helps a lot in this game with slowing down swarms of enemies that get close to you.

Transcendence did it for me. I didn’t know how it worked at first but it really destroys those Gigantuars once it’s done charging
I feel like on the surface her kit doesn't seem that intricate, then you find all these little nuances that makes her even stronger than she already is. Congrats on clearing!
First strike materia maxed out works too along with hermes shoes or speed chain demon key accessory

So, I had to search for tips for this damn mini game for way too long before someone mentioned that the wards for overcoming light and dark ones are super counterintuitive. I though you were supposed to use dark ward against lighttaurs and light ward against darktaurs because obviously they won't be weak to their _own_ element, but rather to the opposite. not sure how that didn't stop me from getting the rank 3 completion bonus on the first round with Aerith...
Yeah... I don't know why they don't work against the opposite. That would have made way more sense.
Whwre do you get Luminous Ward? It doesn’t pop up on my abilities :/
It's exclusive to when you do this mini-game. When you start the mini-game it doesn't pop up in Aerith's abilities?
I'm actually the opposite. After Remake I learned how to build Aerith strong and I know how to play as her.
Yeah, it's funny because I played the demo and was like "Aerith is so OP" but there was some kind of disconnect for me between then and this release. (I've since then played a bunch as her and embraced her OPness once again), but yeah... Was an up and down experience for me for some reason. Probably just me being bad XD
Aerith is one of my mains just because arcane ward magic spamming is extremely powerful and useful i prefer running cloud tifa and aerith but you could just as easily probably run yuffie tifa aerith or cloud yuffie tifa or cloud yuffie aerith really just depends on your party structure and how you use materia. I prefer using aerith as magic focused tifa as physical attack focused and cloud as a hybrid and its worked extremely well
Yeah, I was struggling using her, but now that I've messed around with more end-game content... It's nearly impossible to ignore Aerith. She's just too strong! Your setup is what I usually run. Cloud and Tifa don't leave my party most of the time, so I usually change out Aerith and Yuffie. I really like Barret in this game too, he's really strong... But yeah, just nearly impossible to deny Aerith's influence in these harder fights.

@@valstarlight idk maybe its just me i havent really give red or sith much of a chance on remake since it was just tifa cloud barret and aerith i always mained cloud tifa and aerith and arcane ward magic spam was my go to strategy and is in rebirth as well
@@valstarlight i gave her the enchanced karamic cowl and her defences are 160+ trying to offset her having 1000 less hp than cloud and tifa, yuffie seems busted from what i can tell so i might have to try her but i just love how i have my tifa built enemy skill on tifa is broken plasma discharge unbridled strength spam, luck ups, atb assist, plus magic focus time so i can use stop when enemies are staggered and they get melted
this is a requirment to get one of the collectibles that goes outside jhonnys hotel it says to do it whilst looking for the proto relic
can you get away with just doing it on normal even if you allready have the relic ?
Technically for that one... Yes. Either way you can even if you already did the proto-relic stuff. HOWEVER - there is sadly another collectible for beating them all on Hard Mode lol. The struggle is real.
Aerith is fine but aerith is a mage. Why the fuck she cant use magic
I was questioning this logic too... Just use a different character for this if you wanted to go that route. She isn't even really involved in this storyline outside of this lol
It’s not hard compare to hard mode, Yuffie is easy but Aerith is a pain in the a**

They force players to miss important items because they want you. To struggle in these bullshit mini games. If reunion is like this with. A million mini games I’m out. Tired of being forced to play a mini game every interaction.
I agree there were WAY too many mini-games. I am honestly surprised by so many high reviews for the game simply for this fact. I am a huge FF7 fanboy and even I thought to myself while playing that I would chip my score down because of the abundance of mini-games... It's just too much lol
Agreed. Already written off buying the third. They really Disneyed the fuck out of this game
This game has to last us years until the next instalment. Value for money with all of this to keep us going or going back to it.
OKAY !! I’m glad I read this thread ! I thought it was just me. I think some of the Mini games are really well made, but the majority of them are crap. There’s so much that you lose your connection to the actual story of the game. I was rooting so hard for this game and saw all the reviews. But it’s all just hype. 😢
@@macmittens5475 Losing connection to the story I 100% agree with. I'm cool with there being side quests and other stuff to do, but the mini-games really pull you out of it for way too long imo. Especially if you're the completionist type. I have heard so many stories of people trying to 100% everything and giving up towards the end just to finish the story - a sign this is not a solid formula lol
The biggest problem with this game is all the extra padding they have which are the countless mini games. No one wants this garbage
So how does Soul Drain remove the manaward from a cactuar? Did absolutely nothing for me
It doesn't. I was just saying you could potentially kill them before they even put manaward up if you soul drain them quick enough. To remove manaward, you have to melee them outside of your ward. Sorry for the confusion!
