finished my first build (video editing). stopping by to say thank u. couldn done it w/out this channel. 🤟🏼
what specs? and how is it doing after 6 months?
So I got this cooler and I'm just floored by how cool everything runs with it and it's quiet. Like... quiet... Lian Li has knocked it out of the park this year. The new EVO XL is incredibly well built and thought out, their new fans are just stupendous, and their new AIO's are exceptional. And they have what I think is the best anti-sag solution on the market now too (with the new EVO XL).
This is what I want to see from companies - making quality parts and products and giving you your money's worth and then some.
Just watched the first video and really liked it a lot. You answered all the questions I had. Thanks!
Enjoyed you proving a difference between your method vs factory method of thermal pasting
I like that it is coming already prepared straight out the box, and also i like the size of the contact plate that thing is HUGE. The competition is rising on CPU coolers side and at this rate we will have the next shift in pc cooling engineering for consumers
Just standard, nothing drastic, look into the TEC cooler from EK || Intel and then discuss available PC cooling engineering for consumers. These became common from both EK and Cooler Master back when 10th Gen was "notoriously" HOT! EK makes the TEC cooler for open loop while Cooler Master had the "ML 360 Sub Zero Tec" back then that was a 360mm RAD closed loop AIO TEC cooler. Very very neat package. If your serious about expressing cooling availability for consumers and can tackle an i9 13900KS chip open loop, SLAP that EK TEC on the chip and watch those temps go FROSTY! With that said stay frosty! Peace!
@@MagicMojitos TEC coolers from EK are not brillant tho, they cant cool it sustainabily they where only designed for short burst application but any sustained load they just become a normal water block.
Great video as always
That was the video what I miss. Thank you and I buy these cooler at Monday. 👍
Thanks for this video. I am planning on the exact same implementation.
I've been using my old but still working amazing corsair h115i rgb platinum 280mm and have been worried how much life I actually have left in this old aio. Has kept my old 6700k at 4.8ghz at 1.4v cool then kept my 10700k at 5.1ghz on all 8 cores at 1.38v cooled for years and this year it's being used to keep my 13700k in check easily. For the price I paid for this aio its been one hell of a great unit. But if it fails I'm really liking this lian-li aio. Hate rbg more and more the older I get "used to love it" and recently took out all my rgb strips and razer rgb controller and rgn fans out to make it more stealth looking and this would be perfect with just the block that lights up like I have now. Plus it performs so well to keep a 13900k under control. Just hope it's compatible with future intel cpu's LGA 1851 coming out next year. Or if lian-li will sell a mounting kit like corsair did for a few bucks for lga 1700 which I bought for my h115i.

The Galahad V1 had terrible coil whine on the pump until you dropped the voltage to like 60-70%. Disappointed it's not silent this time around.
The center caps do not fit very well either, and they also amplify the humming on the pump. Drives me mad when I'm having quiet time just browsing or working at the PC.
Probably far better than my nzxt x63. It's brutal over like 1600rpm.
*Arctic Freezer 360 OneLove😅*
Wait aren’t you the dude who makes fnaf vhs compilations?
I’ve had the V1 since it debuted and, aside from a few reboots here and there (updates and such) it’s been fairly silent. The whole unit has really. And I’m running front mounted and tubes up. Not even a slight gurgle.
Which thermal paste did you use? I have a tube of Arctic MX-4 but I was thinking about getting another brand.
Very good work Sir
Can we mount 140mm fans for a push/pull configuration, or only 120mm fans? As it seems to have only one set of holes for screws.
12:44 all P cores on 5.5GHz and all E cores on 4.3GHz with only 1.154V... so little voltage for all of those cores and plus those high frequencies - I am amazed man.
i’m still super afraid of water in my computer 😂 thanks for the nice review
Can you control the fan rpm via the lian controller, or is it just high and low?
Have you ever tried the LH 720 from deepcool heard that's pretty good, aside from that thanks for the great video
How loud is the pump noise at idle on a quiet setting? I have a h150i and it's really annoying so I wanna change it. This is the new iCUE Link one, the older Capellix one was not amazing either but a little better.
What about the noise levels? What's the quitest yet perfoming AIO?
Can you make a video on how to thermal paste. How did you do achieve the temps after the first time?
I have an h150i elite capellix and I get a lot of throttling anytime I try to OC or push the PL beyond 253. Do you think this AIO would be able to handle 300 watts without throttling? I got the 13900k so I could do a little bit of OC. I'm not expecting to win any records, I just want to push it a bit without seeing red. 🙂 I don't have the skills or money to do my own custom loop. I'm running in a O11 Dynamic Evo so can't do a 420mm.
that is incredible performance!!! looks like its time to upgrade!
between this and arctic liquid freezer iii which one is better ? not looking for aesthetic aspect
How can I get a very close performance from the 240 mm version of this? Since the cooler you recommend is expensive, I'm thinking of buying this Gametech Hydra 240 mm cooler what do you say?
Thanks for making this video. Btw, where did you get your test bench from? I'm currently looking for one. Thanks in advance
Jayztwocents did a unboxing/review and assembly of this test bench and mentioned what the company was in the video. I forget who makes it but you could find out there.
i got mine today. i will use it for some overclocking of my old 7700K and hope i get it to run at 5Ghz for daily use
What is the thickness of this cooler ? great video btw
I have the 240 white sl-inf. It performs good too. I only find the included thermal paste a little too thin so I applied my preferred one directly to the cpu.
arctic best thermal paste (mx7) besides liquid metal but you can't use gallium on copper
@@kodakblack531 You mean MX-6? They don't have MX-7. Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut beat MX-6 in my tests by 1c on my 7950x.
does this have pump speed control? cause most of the new pumps have and it'll really make a change.
So, how does it compare with the rog Ryujin 3 360?
I have the performance model with some infinity fans on the front of my case set up push/pull. AIO does a great job keeping my CPU cooled under all conditions.
whats the difference in temps from the infinity vs the performance?
I believe it would be highly beneficial if more PC builders showed greater interest in replacing the stock CPU frame bracket with aftermarket alternatives like those from Thermal Grizzly. By doing so, users could also apply a substantial amount of thermal paste to ensure complete coverage. This approach has been demonstrated by the Gamers Nexus channel to significantly lower CPU temperatures. The replacement frame bracket has proven to provide more even pressure distribution, leading to improved heat dissipation and ultimately resulting in cooler CPU operating temperatures.
Yep, I've covered that on the channel as well :)
@@theTechNotice awesome ill have to check that video out!
I agree. I had to get that bracket myself.
very, very nice, i was hesitating to replace my malfunctioning msi coreliquid v2 by a strix lc2 or the galahad, with the new version with inf sli fans i just found my futur aio i think, just one question if i may, between galahd 2 and galahad 2 performance is there significant difference of perf?just to know if 25$ price difference is worth it for my i5 12600k^^
For an i5, both are probably overkill
Got this one on my wishlist for the 14900k!
Can tell by your paste spread your CPU has the bending issue and needs the contact frame. Would def knock temps down because you're not making great contact at the center of the chip.
I would recommend using a Thermalright CPU Contact Frame for LGA 1700 Retrofit Kit, which will prevent the CPU from being buckled lowering the CPU temps by 5C*-10C*.. Would highly recommend!
im looking at the SL INF version and it seems there are Thermalright CPU Contact Frame in the box, at least where im lookin at it
Which one would you recommend this or artic ii 360?
i would like it to be compared to the new EK AIO(you have reviewed it like a couple months ago), and with the contact frame.
all love and respect.
@joni6296
Hi, for your information the video showed the new Galahad trinity, and i meant to name the new EK nucleus 360.
Please don't take it as if lines F***up mean that everyone else are the same but not GN (i am a GN subscriber too), tech notic and SO many other tech reviewers are great, smart and focus on their job, you can't say (just reliable than any other channels) come on open your mind.
I'm super happy with the MSI MEG CORELIQUID S360
Could You please compare this Lian Li to Phanteks Glacier One 360 T30 Gen2? I need replace my Endorfy Navis 360 into something better and i dont know which one :(
May I ask if you know how this cooler compares (for 13900K/14900K) to the blazingly expensive: ASUS ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB? My favorite is still Arctic II 420, but the design of the pump is somehow strange compared to Lian Li and ASUS.
I still cannot find out of why the user may buy ASUS ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB instead of much cheaper alternatives. I put aside the brand and the display that comes with the ASUS variant. Of course, there is Lian Li option GA II LCD that is still much cheaper than ASUS.
I swapped and bought the EK Nucleus based on your recommendation, I can’t keep swapping every time you do a “new best” video. Come on man!
I want t
A 280 version. What is the best aio and separate buyable 4
140 fans for cooling i want it to be quite, but be able to 0erform even loud, when its needed.
I think what would make this even better is if you can replace the mirror with an LCD display instead. That would seal the deal for me.
there is an lcd version of this cooler, the galahad lcd if i remember correctly
it's a 2.88" display too
have you tested the 240mm version? I am building my new machine using a Phanteks NV9 Case. The rear of the case has the perfect spot to place the 240 on, but not sure how this will be different to the 360 on a 1400K Intel CPU! I look forward to your reply and kind advice.
What d'you end up going with?
The 240mm version supposedly beats out many "lesser" 360 aio's.
Ordered one, so we'll find out soon.
My mugen ain't hackin' it on my 13700k. Also completely clogging up my mid-size case with its girth.
Hey! Great review! I was wondering. Is it the stock fans that comes with the AIO that makes in that good ? If I replace the stock fans with SL Infinity, what will happen with the performance, compared to the stock fans ?
You'll definitely lose some performance replacing the fans on this cooler with the SL Infinity fans but I think it'll still perform better than a non-performance version AIO.
No need to apply thermal paste (X) on the CPU? My CPU is i9 14900
Is your CPU delidded/lapped? Why no bent frame?
What would be better EK Nucleus 360 or Lian-Li Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 in a 6 fan config? Need to know what wins for 350W++++ for overclocking?
Hey, what did you ended up buying? Im torn between the EK Nucleus and the Trinity Performance.
So what case fans match the ones that come on this cooler? I'd like them all to match, but I definitely want this cooler. I need 3 120mm fans and 1 140mm fan.
I'd like to know this too
@@InfiniteVideoMedia I'm thinking the P28's are closest, but not exact. These cooler fans spin even faster and don't daisy chain like the P28's and other Uni fans. They don't have a 140mm equivalent yet either from what I can tell. I might just replace all the fans on the cooler, so they match, but these have a much higher static pressure. The other option is to get the LED side plates for these and match it with SL case fans it looks like.
The matching fans are Lian Li SLINF fans. They come in 120mm and 140mm
Thought about going with the Galahad II but the Deepcool LS720 360mm was dirt cheap on amazon ($99) with amazing performance couldn't pass it up.
I'm not a big fan of gimmicky AIO's, but I did purchase this and plan on removing the crappy fans and putting my 140mm Noctua Industrial 3000 RPM fans on it to cool a 5800X3D. I just hope it doesn't blow too much hot air in my case with a 4090 in it.
How does it compare to LCD SL INF version? (on 13900K)
Hi, very usefull test. I've a case Fractal Design North, can I fit Lian-Li Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 into?
Yes, into the front but it's gonna limit the GPU support. :)
What is amazing here if it throttles on 5th run? What should be used to cool these cpus... and they become hotter and hotter
You should put a contact frame on that 13900K.
Got mine in January (probably V1), 2 weeks ago the pump started making a loud grinding noise and yesterday it died... Be careful what version you guys get
Can you regulate the intensity if the led?
i really want to see a durability test on these thing
sth like 1 year o constent rendering see wich one fail
Lauri, I've been binging on your content non-stop over the past few days. Your stuff is a breath of fresh air on RUclips in terms of PC builds for creators. More power to you. It would be a bonus for some if you could make some content for beginners on hardware considerations catered towards music production for home studios. Just a thought.
I love Arctic Liquid Freezer the most
How much maintenance it would require over time.
Hopefully they fixed the reliability issues went through 2 of the original ones within 12 months. They ended up just refunding and did a recall.
But the real question....can I slide in Corsair QL120's?
Try the EKWB Nucleus AIO CR360 Dark
Dang... now I want one. Luckily I can't find a single vendor who has the Performance version in stock. Plenty of normal Trinity ones to be had, but no Performance. And I'm very sure they did sell them over here not too long ago. Supply chain issues, perhaps?
Any idea if this fits inside a Jonsplus i100 pro?
Have you ever tried running it with two radiators?
What paste did you use? Thanks
i get 40k score of i9 13900k with AIO of segotep . and temp is 85 degree. so price for it is 118$
I wonder how is this compare to the EKWB 360 AIO
so...there are lower temps on lower seed of fans ???
can you test the new corsair icue Link aio? its pricy, so hopefully its good
If the 13900K can do 5.8Ghz and you're not thermal throttling, why are you only getting 5.5GHz ? Is it the binning of the CPU?
Please make a video on top5 best 360 mm AIO in the world 2024
When i connect the pump directly to my ARGB connector on the motherboard i cant control the color at all. The pump just stays white all the time and no program like MSI Mystic Light or OpenRGB detects it. Anyone knows a solution?
Can i replace the fans with the Lian Li AL140 v2?
Can you compare this with corsair h170i capellix xt?
Would this cooler work for Threadripper 7970X and TRX50 Aero D?
the new cooler master atmos and this one are the best ones right now
Not sure if that is capable at 325w, while it said No on thermal throttling the temps are already 95c in red and that was only 4th run, meaning that on the 10min duration it probably would have throttled already. I'm guessing 288w was the max dissipation, the Arctic 360 III with the p12 max was capable of 300w.
But how long can he cool? i mean if run such test for like 3-4 hours.
What about ekwb nucleus? I think is the best🎉
this cooler the display change to gifs? with app?
Have you reviewed Asus Ryujin 3? Apparently its good well so they say
Would be interesting to see results with a contact frame + T30 fans...
Yes please 🙏🏻 I thought the same very curious to see the results 👍🏻 thank you 🙏🏻
I’ll do it :D
The AIO and the fans will arrive November 21
@@krampy_nasty oh nice one, post results here.
@@krampy_nastyYo , share the results?
Man, you can see that cpu seemed bent from the ILM with the way the TIM spread.
The pump is pretty loud at max. Im finding mine works well but a little disappointed in noise
hi bro , my room's degree is 27 C and %45 , I have msi s360 ı made it 40320 bencmark multi core. so doesn't change cool it under 100 C. I am not knowing prize of it but still not chance that cool 13900 k under 100 C. (if u know a way that, please tell me.)
is it better than the arctic freezer 360 mm
i put my aio radiator and fans out side of my room due i use it for unreal and hudini my i9 10850k was heating a lot
what about pump noise i been reading a lot of ppl having issues with the noise
I have a 1 year old Arctic liquid freezer ii 360 rev3. With an i9 14900k. sometimes the cpu runs on 80-85celsius, while i'm playing. Is this coller better, than my Arctic? is it worth to change?
Not worth it, you've got a solid option there!
I just installed the 240 and it is very loud. I put the it on silent mode through bios but it doesn’t work at all. Does anyone know why?
I have the 240mm version and its amazing.. 12700k 65c all day
Try lapping and contact frame also
Can this fit in the asus ap201 case?
@Technotice possible to make a video comparing aio vs custom loop
Anyone tried to fit this particular AIO into Fractal Torrent full-tower case?
