I'm south african so when I tried my first Chinese restaurant I fell soooo inlove with this type of spring rolls.. I just had to go searching for the recipe ❤thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
@@extraordinarytaste I second this comment. I've been looking for a veggie spring roll & your video is so well done & you give details that no other YT channel does. I'm so thankful & now excited to make my own. You've given me confidence through your tutorial on the right way to make crispy spring rolls🙆♀️❣ Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us❣
Now I've written down all your instructions so I can get everything I need to make your awesome Crispy Spring Rolls 🙆♀️❣ Thank you❣ Your Spring Rolls are the only Spring Rolls on YT that retain their vibrant vegetable colors & look so incredibly beautiful and delicious❣🙆♀️🌿🌺🌿🥰
The Noodle House in North Bay had the best way I’ve seen spring rolls served, they had them garnished with pickled carrots and chilli oil. Great family owned restaurant!
HI !! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS RECIPE. IT LOOKS VERY GOOD. I WILL LOOK FOR THE EGG ROLL SHEETS. I'VE HAD SPRING ROLLS BEFORE BUT ONLY VEGGIE. YOU COOKED PORK TOO, I HOPE IT CAN BE USED IN SPRING ROLL AS WELL. THANKS AGAIN AND STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY ❤️ 🙏
This is really helpful. I appreciate the explanations eg using fine rice noodles as it helps to mop up the liquid from the veggies, also letting the vegetables dry before wrapping for same reason. Very useful info. Thank you! 🙏 Note: oil temperature must be 300-325f or 150-160c
Ty for answering my question. I have made Thai spring rolls for years but recently when I freeze them the filling was getting mushy. Now I know why. Too hot. To fast. God bless you
Chinese n Vietnamese dont use vermicelli noodles we use bean thread noodles also called glass noodles. If you use rice vermicelli you're stir frying rice noodles with cabbage etc. and not making spring rols your recipe is incorrect!😩
Is it possible to ensure it dries well and incorporate all flavors (if adding oyster sauce) after cooking..and for it to dry out before frying..to place mixture in fridge for a couple of hours?
Thank you for this video! I was wondering...I've never seen the type of spring roll skin you're showing in the video (certainly because we don't have these in my country) I suppose it's absolutely not the same thing as the rice paper we have to wet in water before rolling it? Maybe it's closer to the brik pastry sheets?
Rice paper has to be wet first before wrapping it into a roll. So, I guess it won't get too crispy when deep-fried. RUclips has many videos on making spring roll wrapper from scratch with only 3 simple ingredients: flour, salt and water. Take a look if you are interested. Thanks for watching my video.
I'm not sure, and I have never cooked it that way. However, defrosting will make them soggy, and I don't know if they will still turn out crispy. Give it a try but be careful as there could be more oil splatter. Let me know. Thanks
i just want to let everyone fucking know....there is no such thing is an Eggroll. Thats just something a white boy call it. In vietnamese its called: Fry Ham....there is no fucking eggs in it.

Does it have to be those exact noodle or can you use other noodles?
No, you can substitute other noodles. However, keep in mind that different types of noodles have different textures and flavors. Thanks

Hi, I’m just wondering why when i am frying it the meat and vegetables burst out from the wrapper? Thanks for your help in advance 😊
Could it be that it was not wrapped tight enough? Switch to a different brand of spring roll wrappers and see if that helps.
🎉you're a wonderful teacher
অসাধারণ ❤
Do I need to thaw the spring roll from the freezer or cook them frozen? Thanks in advance😊
Yes you do. It's very difficult to separate the sheets when frozen.
Oh wonderful thank you

I love it 😀 😊
Thank you for the great recipe!

Hi dear chef, thanks for sharing, some recipes use soy sauce or oyster sauce or whater & corn starch mixture or ... , what is your idea about these?
Soy sauce and oyster sauce are a matter of personal preference. Adding starch will make the fillings more dense. Thanks
@@extraordinarytaste 🌹🙏🌹
@@shahinbakhtiar5320
Try the soy sauce mixed with the oyster sauce fir a dipping sauce & you can offer duck sauce as well.
Enjoy❣
Very nice ❤
Where can i buy that kind of spring roll wrappers?
I believe majority of Asian grocery stores in North America carry the spring roll wrapper.
I buy mine at the chefs store
Other videos have made their own with basic ingredients and rolled thin
Yummy 😋
Thankyou
👍👍🙋♀️🙋♀️
Where did u buy yor pan?
I have the pan over 10 years. The brand is not indicated on the pan, and I can't recall it either.
😆
I have subscribe ❤❤
Thanks
I want you to teach me Chinese style!
I worked in a Chinese restaurant and this is how we made spring rolls.

Is it possible to completely thaw out the frozen spring roll before cooking 🤔
I'm not sure, and I have never cooked it that way. However, defrosting will make them soggy, and I don't know if they will still turn out crispy. Give it a try but be careful as there could be more oil splatter. Let me know. Thanks
