A car with no ABS, and traction control that you would be just plain crazy to disengage.
And Richard took this up to 204+ MPH at the Nardo Test Track.
That dude is a REALLY good driver. I mean...wow. He's a damn good driver.
+Vladpryde I agree, Richard is a good driver. However, he was going on a constant slow curve. What Jeremy describes here is a Circuit situation with tight turns and constant maneuvering. Hope you get my point
+Vladpryde Iv done a 168 mph in a 2010 S500 on a 3 lane highway. Its easy to touch those speeds in a car thats built to do it. Not a big deal.
Asfandyar Khan
So you've done that on a 3 lane highway in a standard every-day car.
Richard Hammond has done it on a banked oval circuit in a supercar at over 200 MPH.
There's no comparison here.
+Vladpryde All three of them are bloody good drivers. Despite the fact they mock James, he still is a great driver.
Fraser Hughes
I agree.
A supercar that is a pure driving machine, there aren't a lot out there nowdays...
needraintodrift now all are computers
Yep, hopefully TVR's comeback will be like this
I miss Trevor.
@@compulsoryspeech1411 You dont have to be a fucking gourmet chef to say something tastes bad, and in this case you dont neex to form your own car manufacturer and build a company just to prefer a car, I'd be surprised if you could even drive a car like this with no traction control around a track, I know I couldn't!
Compulsory Speech because not all of us have millions to spend on R&D bud. It’s called the 1% for a reason.
Guys... I think we found the perfect car. It has a Volvo engine so it's probably kinda reliable, it sounds great, it looks great, it's mind-blowingly fast, and it comes with a manual. I'M IN LOVE.
Yamaha makes the engine too!!!
that's what I always thought through the years it's theoretically the perfect daily. shame they go for 600k usd now lol. it's also very pretty imo.
@@niclebowski9214 The B8444S Volvo V8 engine is built in Japan by Yamaha specifically for Volvo to use in the XC90 and it's a 60° Engine with an aluminium block with water cooled injectors
@Pexf stick to Minecraft kiddo
@Pexf damn so Noble engineers got roasted by a 15 years old. Must be tough. Listen before you say "it's a copy" you should definitely see who made it, why they did it and when they did it. It really far away from any Koenigsegg ever built and it's brilliant for what it is. Please don't comment this stuff. It's a really good car.
This car has been baffling me for ages. Is there any secret trick that Noble have that makes it so light? I mean, it's made of steel and weights 1250kg. That's less than a Huayra. I can't get my head around it.
The body is carbon fiber. The chassis has steel in it.
Asif Ali that makes so much more sense, but still, that's so light
Alexander Young those electronic aides are nowhere found in that car so that helps in shedding weight s well
The Huayra has a super nice interior with tons of leather, electronic gadgets, a big onboard computer and so on, whereas the Noble features none of that. Yes there's leather seats but that's about it. Also, the engine in the Huayra is a 6.0L twin-turbo V12, compared to the Noble's 4.4L twin-turbo V8, so that's at least another 50kg or so just from the bigger engine.
And the Yamaha engine is only 4400cc or so, so it's light for a V8, that takes a lot of fat off the weight.
it does have an absolutely beautiful silhouette from the side. Beautiful lines from the side.
Oneironaut Yes, but then you look at the front and... it looks kind of downsy.
@@39PSIOnTheDaily yeah, the front ends on Nobles aren’t that great tbh. Not just the M600.
That Volvo-Yamaha V8 is a genuinely genius engine, and it's a real shame that volvo didn't do more with it
Yes, It's called the B8444S and it's a V8 built in Japan and designed by Volvo so it's a Swedish-Japanese mash up
@@lightsaberlordp373 that's why it's so good then
Я его завожу каждый день.Он божественно урчит и едет.
Thankfully Noble did. And what a result it was!
225 mph?
dude that's pretty impressive for a supped up school bus in a super car race type class chassis
***** developed by Yamaha
+Jay-R Reyes
No, the engine was built in Japan by Yamaha. So was the engine for the Volvo XC-90 he mentioned
.gg
Not to mention more than the carbon fibre, more powerful, more expensive Lamborghini Aventador.

This is what a super car should be; demanding to drive.
Yes a car with no driver aids I'm sure fighter pilots that fly those modern jets would prefer a fighter with No Electronic AIDS like the F-35 F-16 eurofighter Etc some of the best aircraft have been a pilot's aircraft the F-4 Phantom II English electric lightning which have no computers and no fly-by-wire
THIS is what a supercar is supposed to be. Raw. Properly raw and you need proper talent to take it to the edge. One day... One day I will have one..
Hell yes...
Majority of the people can't even drive a prius. It would be extremely irresponsible to give these Nobles out to the people
No you won't
How you getting on with your goals towards your m600?
Nice name lol
I always love these rare supercars from smaller companies. Rossion Q1, Mosler MT900, and of course this.
Fun fact: the Rossion is actually based on an older Noble. Rossion used to be an importer for Noble in the U.S, but they bought the rights to the Noble M12/M400 and began producing it as their own (kinda like Caterham bought the rights to the Lotus 7 and has been making them till today).
Not sure if they’re still selling cars. Their website is down and their last active social media post is in 2021, but I was still able to access their website a couple months ago, and from memory you were still able to order one if you wanted.
That Mosler is incredible. Basically racecar like grip with 0.25 drag coefficient. That thing would need about 720hp to hit 400kph with a big wing and huge downforce on it, simply astounding! Light as hell as well.
@@nodo7575The land shark has over 1000HP lol.
Mosler is goated tbh.
The Raptor…goated.
Connsuluior…goated.
MT900…goated.
The fact that Eurotards banned the MT multiple times (3 times, GT1 banned, GT2 banned and finally GT3 it had to be heavily neutered and even then it kicked the Europeans asses *LMAO*) because it was embarrassing their European trash cars tells you *EVERYTHING* you need to know about Mosler 🤷♂️
Same thing with the 2J they whined and got it banned. The GT40 whined and got it banned. The Viper whined and banned. Lmao 🤣
Idiots. You salty because your shit box euro cars are getting beat by American cars.
A supercar with no stupid computers in the way, simple on/off traction control button and most importantly, comes in a manual transmission. This is really what I'm looking for. Unfortunately it is out of my reach and I have no money.
rob a bank!
Same.
I feel u bruh
that should motivate you man to make a money to enjoy such experiences life, its never too late, wish you the best
This man is an expert on supercars without actually owning a supercar
Noble M600 might be one of the greatest supercars of all time. Eventhough it has no ABS and its very hard to be driven, it is fantastic and still very fast even with today standards. One of my favorite supercars of all time.
I can tell you that it´s not have you ever drive the Huracan before? of the R8??? I´ll se you later
I was in an r8, totally unimpressed. It was fast but it felt very clinical, the lamborghini aventador sv on the other hand.... Well thats probably the greatest car of all time.
Nate Eintracht Yes but definitely not the Noble, that thing is crap as shit.
I don´t i like the Huracan better. But that is totally my opinion.
Kire Ristomanov I love the noble :/.
The thing about Noble, is that its a raw car, that needs skill to be driven. That was normal in supercars of old, but at the time the video was shot, or now, its not.Even if someone doesnt like it, it HAS to respect it! It's a car that says ''I am what i am, if you don't like it, sod off!''. No compromise.
if i had to choose one driver's car to train my skills on throughout life, it would be this. adjustable power levels from 450 to 650, from docile to insane, proper mechanical steering, brakes, and manual shifter, mid engine RWD layout, and a seemingly simple body design that will help you do 200+ from a standing start in a mile and a half or so.
Sai Namuduri This or the Ascari. Both built by engineers who've got the suspension brakes and well, balance really sorted. Super rare and comfortable to drive are big points too. Learning to use 40-60 in one second could be one of life's greatest thrills. As a biker I know what that kind of acceleration feels like. But in a car.....
@@ThyLiquor But Ascari is no more now
@Adam in a chassis like this? Yes. In a Miata? Not so much.
Reminds me a bit of the first gen Viper: steel chassis, engine from a truck, no airbag/abs/anything, fast and dangerous at the same time
So this a pure blood racer’s car. Insane speed, practically no electronic assistance. Just you, the car, and the road.
Yep
Note to self: Keep traction control on...
I'm surprised he didn't mention that its one of a very few cars that still has a real manual transmission! I'd buy it just for that! Now, just need to find 200,000 GBP!
gaurav kumar if i help do i get one to?
Isaac Trockman the one way this could be improved would be to give it the mclaren f1 seating arrangement
James Brauner You could get an Ultima GTR 720 for half the price. Less weight than the Noble and better handling too. It also has air con as standard. The Noble does make a glorious noise though:-)
James Brauner i will start by donatin you a penny =)
+Isaac Trockman no , two seats means you can scare hot bitches with it ,lol .
Holy shit this car is under rated. Only $200,000 to for that type of preformance also.
it's 200000 pounds
Yeah now currently at $750 000
@@ashleysambo4104 well me still can buy the noble m400 I guess😭😭😭
@@jongraham7619 I think it was only sold in Africa I believe.
@@Dorfuto my dads friend bought one from FLordia!
Dear Santa,
🤣🤣🤣
Lovely manual gear box as well
The modern day F40.
That's a great analogy. Simple yet blindingly fast, none of the bells and whistles. Cutting it away for the core driving experience for the real car guys and gearheads.
Scarily accurate. Twin turbo V8 with little/no assists. Blisteringly fast
The Saleen S7 is more like the F40.
I would say that
A the end of the day the only difference from an f40 is the presence of traction control... and about 170 horsepower
So thing thing goes faster than a p1 with a Volvo engine with 250 less horsepower? Pretty dam good.
hhahahaha top comment
And without an electric motor
I love both cars but dude, the P1 is limited to 217 mph. Its capable of doing 247 or so mph according to Mclaren
@@MetoFulcurm i dont think i know any car that has surpassed 217 on that track. I only remember the CCCX doing 196 on a part of the track
@@happytot1039 Jeremy reached 207 mph in the Murcielago
It's amazing the cars it is being compared against in this video are a generation back to the offerings now, and I have no doubt the Noble will still be able to keep up with the current lot in a straight-line (488 GTB, 650S, Huracan, NSX, GT).
The M600 has aged so well, don’t overdo the aesthetics and it’ll look new every single day.
This is like a supercar from the 80s: ...actully cool!
@@ilovesheen7446 It's cheaper than a Ferrari
I'd take an M600 over a 458 & a 650S any day. Proper stick & clutch box, mechanical steering, suspension & differential, it sounds better, it's doesn't have a fussy body and if you don't respect it or you have more money than driving talent, it will bite you. It's a supercar for proper drivers who don't have patience for electronic bullshit and nor do they need it. It's everything a proper driver's car should be.
***** I 100% agree and I was about to type the same thing. It's truly a man's supercar, and I don't mean that like, "Oh, I'm the most masculine man on earth, and most men aren't." I mean, *ANY man that's been a racing enthusiast his whole life, and knows what a stick shifter is can most likely drive the wheels off ANY car!*
Unquestionably. I want a car to drive, not ponce about in.
Callum McInerney you definitely don't seem them everyday either its not like a Ferrari or Bentley or Lamborghini I guarantee you'll be the only one in your zip code if not the state with a noble
I would love to drive one... however I get the distinct impression I personally would end up wrapping the damn thing around a tree thanks to the lack of ABS.
I agree with you man
I don’t know why I love the deep growling scream of the Volvo V8.
Because Noble took matters into their own hands by glueing twin turbochargers to the M600 pumping out a colossal 650bhp
They also used that v8 in a volvo s80, I personally own one and even when its stock, it sounds amazing.
Heard this take off on the hill climb at goodwood this weekend, one of the best sounding cars there for sure
460hp in a 1200kg super car would be insanely fun, putting the 3 power settings on is brilliant.
I hate to tell you this but the British version of Top Gear is the original not USA version. Top Gear started in the UK in the late 1970's
One of my favorite car sound ever
YES. this car has blown my mind since I was a child. I'm glad to see that the noble M600 has gotten some press. Interesting about the ABS though. I had no clue it did not have one. This review revealed a lot to me about the car i admired as a kid.
The understated design had aged really well.
One of the best looking cars. It's design is so simple, its beautiful.
Absolutely it's gorgeous especially when Noble was very keen to build the car from both carbon fibre and stainless steel and surprisingly it's not a heavy car at all at weighing 1,250kg
Jeremy's shaking face at 2:59 is just priceless 🤣🤣🤣
6:31 onward's makes me proud to know that in Britain.. we still make fantastic super cars !!
Gotta love a good ol' British shed. Some of the world's best cars came from them
sit in one M12 few years back, still remember it...
what a beautifully shot video. Wow.
Noble. Toyota AE86, GT86. Lexus LFA, and all race spec "F" series.
All the greatest hits, have engines built by Yamaha.
I mean, their company slogan is "revs your heart" for christ sake.
I can see why Jeremy loves the LFA so much.
Weren't they also involved in the Toyota Supras 2JZ? Or am I mixing things up here?
GT86 and its Subaru twin are too overrated. I see them everywhere and hate it.
yeh yamaha helped do the head on the 1j. dont think they with with the 2j.
The 86 is a disappointment.
Ford Taurus SHO also
This car is absolutely beautiful and the performance is really a reflection of the driver. With the right driver this car is crazy fast. It's definitely one of my favorite cars of all time.
It does look fantastic in the colour
What a magnificent vehicle . No bullshit on board, just ferocity
Front half MacLaren f1 back half Audi R8 Quattro
Now that you mention that, yeah, I can see it.
+Justin Price I think the front looks more like a koenigsegg CCX
Justin Price
The old Koenigsegg that is
It amazes me that cars like this don't find some kind of Private/Ind Dealer Support here in the U.S. because
I know I am not alone when I say that this Noble is just a beautiful car. Not just a sight to behold, beautiful in it's
design; simple, durable. Take what works, make it really light, proper engine, install it all into a work of Art...Result?
The Noble M600
Once again; well done England!
One of the best Top Gear reviews I have ever seen
Wow... this is a real car made to be driven. No abs, no other different driving controls, just like the TVR cars, a true driver's car. So pure in driving and very exciting. I wish I could have one more than anything... I am absolutely in love with this car
I never noticed that Brianstorm was played in the background until now
I love the looks of this hyper car, it's just so unique, a combination of sofistication and aggressitivity

The styling outside and inside is spot on!
This is almost the perfect car, I wish it had launch control to reduce some of that wheel spin. Aventador has the sickest launch control.
To keep the purist feeling I don't think it needs it really, also the Dodge Demon has the best launch control
Launch Control works in conjunction with traction control. The traction control in this car is too simple for it to be used.
@@aaryeshg.6526 F1 uses similar TC, u wanna tell me this cannot be equiped with Launch Control??
It's possible but u pay 300k+
@@mateuszzimon8216 It is possible but Noble in this case has done away with it and its understandable (they could have put in ABS since they have put TCS but they decided not to). Somebody in comments has already mentioned why it is so. It's a purist's car. Saying the car lacks features when its $300k is rubbish imo. The car is made for a specific purpose and that is to give the petrolheads a firey, death-trap feeling of driving this M600 (which is what current supercars hardly ever do). If you know other brands like TVR, Ariel and Caterham, you should know by now they also do the same thing as Noble but in a lower price bracket (around where a BMW M3 costs).

I don't think people appreciate how great of a driver Jeremy Clarkson is.
I’m going to have a legitimate cry when any of these 3 legends pass on. Man I’ve watched them since I was a kid they’re part of the reason I’m so car crazy today

It is this type of review that made Top Gear so damn good.
40-60 in ONE second!
That video is sentational. You guys are heroes just for mentioning Noble as a car company!
Go to 3:00 and put 0,25X speed. Thank me later.
A Volvo/Yamaha developed V8, with a pair of turbochargers that Noble strapped to the block. It seems like not much, especially since the chassis looks as bare as the Spyker C8. But there's one thing I'm probably alone on. Because in my mind, the soundtrack transmitted by the Volvo/Yamaha V8, sounds so addicting! It's to no end, my all time favourite V8 soundtrack!
I don't care how long it takes, I will own a Noble M600.
Josiah Thibodeaux good luck!
Did you get it yet?
Josiah Thibodeaux I hear you. I believe only a handful were made. If I won the lottery I’d just call Lee Noble and ask how much to build one more.
EJ257IHI there is two on piston heads I was looking the other day and fell bk in love with them again 😍
Lots of props to hammond for taking this around imola
You'd choose a Noble over the others because the company is small. Small companies are always better because there's a proper connection with the customer because they logically don't have as many customers . There's real trust that can be built up over many years therefore. It ideally almost becomes a friendship. Which means if they do expand, they'll remember you.
'Ferrari: We unfortunately cannot help you. Goodbye.
Small car manufacturer: Well I can't do that myself, but what I'll do right now is ring Derek and get him to come round and ramp it up this afternoon. He's been perfecting that component for the last 15 years so he'll have it fixed within the hour of his arrival. Would you like a cuppa tea?'
Don't believe me? In my home town, there's a garage my dad has been using to fix his car and my mum's car for at least the last 23 years, almost certainly more. They NEVER charge more than the cost of keeping the garage going and for the parts. When I went in to mot my car for the first time, the owner was beaming from ear to ear and had watery eyes when he realised the trust in his company had been carried down to the next generation.
Sadly, I'm not going to be staying in my town much longer as i move out soon. But me and my dad would trust that garage with our lives.
This is one of the best top gear reviews they've ever done, poetry

Can we just appreciate how good of a driver Clarkson is? He dosnt look like he can drift, or race but he is surprisingly good at both.
Don't people that usually buy these cars want them because their not like what everybody else has?
+Motherbrain Jr I think that would be the second reason next to the fact that it simply provides the most pure driving experience. It's only as good as the driver and it's a monster at that.
Episode 1 was awesome! Looking forward to next week.
I would buy the Noble over those cars.
I would not buy one, not very reliable
@@Boschwash24 It's literally got a Volvo engine.
What A Machine.
The fact that it DOES have traction control and DOESN'T have ABS is very strange. The reason being, if you buy a car saying you can and want to drive it without ABS is for sure saying you can and want to drive it without traction control. I think Noble might want to get their priorities strait. Other than that, it's by far one of my favorite cars, and in my opinion it looks fantastic!
