    Watching your videos has given me not only the desire to buy and use a car hauler, but some education and confidence in learning how to safely use it. You make nice videos, so keep doing what you're doing, and before you know it you'll be over 100k subs

    ASV is an absolute animal, company I work for has this TL12 exact skid steer you have with a fecon head on it and it's pretty damn good, I've ran both and I lean towards the ASV for straight for straight mulching but the TL12 is a great all around machine for $20k less than the ASV. Great purchase man loving the videos.

    Before you grind those stumps down drive your lady's truck over it a few times. With any luck all those "special" parts will fall right off and you will have no choice but to fix it with aftermarket parts and tuners. ;)

Caldwell makes a great kit that you use to mold sound reduction plugs for your ears. Work great for my shooting. You don't even know you have them in until someone tries to talk to you LOL.

    The hydraulic system is secondary from the main engine. The horsepower and Torque rating of an engine are almost irrelevant when talking about attachments. I don’t hear anyone talking about the four hydraulic pumps hooked up to the engine:
    Two variable-displacement pumps located in a single housing provide hydraulic power for the two hydraulic drive motors.
    A fixed-displacement pump provides hydraulic power for the loader arms and accessories.
    A smaller fixed-displacement pump provides hydraulic power for circulating the hydraulic fluid through filters, and provides pressure to the pilot controls.

    • @wpog8453
      @wpog8453 5 лет назад

      Horsepower and torque are irrelevant? I've heard a lot of people say that but there's not one bit of truth to it. The hydraulic system is nothing more than a means of transferring power. You can't get something from nothing. You can only transfer a percentage of what's available. Any hydraulic system is limited to the power supply its hooked to. I do agree that because of more advanced VD pumps they are more efficient nowadays.

      I would look into a hydraulic one but yes winches of any sort are nice. Im considering eventually building a front bumper for my 97 f350 and putting a 12k on the front. Never know when you need one. Cheap insurance

  • @MitchellH79
    @MitchellH79 5 лет назад +1

    Will the winch and/or counter weights limit your access to the rear compartment? We are constantly having to blow ours out to get the temps back down to a reasonable level. Badly needing an auxiliary cooler

    • @VBELTandSON
      @VBELTandSON  5 лет назад +1

      Mitch Himes on your tl 12? We will make the winch hinge out of the way.

    • @MitchellH79
      @MitchellH79 5 лет назад +1

      V-BELT and SON yes we have a 2016 TL12 with a bradco MM60 on it. We are fighting overheating issues. Constantly having to blow out the radiator. Have the same issues with our Kubota M9560 tractor when running the batwing in thick brush. The Texas heat and dusty conditions combined make for some hot machines!

    • @VBELTandSON

      Pierce Land Clearing already own a pt 175 and love it. Watch some of my earlier videos. 🤘🏻

    • @piercelandclearing6947
      @piercelandclearing6947 5 лет назад

      Oh I’ve seen them that’s a bad machine I’m just curious if you know much about the CMI because it’s quite a bit lighter with similar horsepower numbers

    • @VBELTandSON
      @VBELTandSON  5 лет назад

      Pierce Land Clearing I haven’t ran a Cmi yet but I’d say from what I’ve seen them do I wouldn’t mind owning one for the right price. Prime tech is expensive but finish work and controls are something else. Cadillac as far as track machine. Easily twice the production of a skiddy without even trying maybe more

    • @piercelandclearing6947
      @piercelandclearing6947 5 лет назад

      V-BELT and SON yeah we’ve got Fecon 128s and a Kubota 95 / Fae combo (skids are a joke except for maybe your new tl12)
      I’m wanting something that has a little more juice than our Fecon tractors but still be towed with a 1 ton dually.

    • @VBELTandSON
      @VBELTandSON  5 лет назад

      Pierce Land Clearing yeah I hear ya on that. Wish kubota had more power would have bought that but the 12 does alright for a skiddy. But towing the 175 with my 3500 isn’t bad. I wouldn’t wanna go much more than that. I’d make sure you got some seat time in both. Whats the price tag on a cmi?

  • @Fir3angel1

    Get a DAF-150D, you won't regret it!

    • @VBELTandSON
      @VBELTandSON  5 лет назад

      Fir3AngeL naw. Zero benefit running a Cimaf head around here. 1st they have no hood. That’s not worth it around houses like most the work we do and second way to many rocks here. Already have an awhi with dcr and knives it strictly does big stuff in one spot. Curious what everyone likes about the Cimaf so much. I’d rather fae everything

    • @Fir3angel1
      @Fir3angel1 5 лет назад

      @@VBELTandSON Well there is a tool for everything and if you think you found a better solution, it's great!
      You know better what type of terrain you are facing, but unless you are running cheap blades, a little rock impact won't break your rotor, or blade on a Cimaf.
      That little bush in the beginning of the video, from the perspective of someone editing DC footage on the regular, was pretty painful to watch... But I get ya, lots of variables goes in making these business decisions. Sometimes, even when a luxury car is available, it makes more sense business-wise to go with cheaper car.

    • @VBELTandSON
      @VBELTandSON  5 лет назад

      Fir3AngeL idk if I went cheaper but still didn’t tell me why you like Cimaf more? We do have a gt25 gyrotrac with rocks kill it. Also have a Cimaf for the excavator. Rocks kill the knives. And I wouldn’t call that a small bush 😂

    • @Fir3angel1
      @Fir3angel1 5 лет назад

      @@VBELTandSON Like I said, you know best your business! Not here to discredit! You are doing great!
      I think you have a 65B right? or the 85B? they don't have heat treated knives for these small one right? I think should definitely try a 150D or 180D! But like you said, maybe a mulcher for skid steer is not the way to go for your region.
      I don't even operate, I edit video at DC. From talking to people on FB and editing interviews, it seems to hold up pretty well. But that's mostly people from the Southeast US so... Like I said you know your environment better than I do!

    • @VBELTandSON
      @VBELTandSON  5 лет назад

      Fir3AngeL 085 and yeah I think it’s the only Cimaf head with in a 100 miles. Cimaf isn’t much of a thing around here. Add me on Instagram I’ll send you a video of the awhi head in action
