This brush is my first ever Rephr purchase and I was impressed with the softness and quality of the bristles. The problem I have is how anemic the amount of bristles are. Every post and RUclips influencers’ post and videos I’ve seen make it seem fuller and denser than what I received. I was interested as I have dry, sensitive skin with eczema on my face and my synthetic drugstore brushes are now too rough for me. I’ve noticed that the older I get the more sensitive my face, neck, and chest has gotten so I’ve decided to invest in better quality tools. A lot of research goes into any of my purchases because higher price point isn’t always better. Especially in the skincare and cosmetics industry. Still, for a handmade brush of such high quality bristles for less than $100 it is an absolutely worth it purchase. I’ll consider getting some other brushes from the brand during their Black Friday sale this year. Still, I may just continue saving for Chikuhodo, Koyudo, and Sonia G brushes instead.
@geekingbeautyden Sorry to hear that your brush isn't as dense as you'd like it to be. I think my brush is on the lighter side of density too. The handmade nature of fude makes each individual brush different and it can be disappointing to see other's have a denser, nicer, or more evenly bundled brush than the one you received. I'm glad that you're impressed with the softness and quality of the hair at the very least!
Fantastic review:) I saw your community post first and immediately went and snagged the blush brush, then came back to watch your video:) I’m even more excited now after seeing it up close so to speak, and I am very tempted to purchase a second one as backup:) I absolutely *love* saibikoho so much, and this is one of my very favorite styles of brushes so I am very excited about this!! Thanks again:)❤❤❤
@PiXie232 Thank you for your kind words! I hope you love the brush!! So excited for you 🥰. I considered getting a backup too 😂. It's such a steal for the price. Saibikoho is such a wonderful hair type and I'm happy to hear that you love it too! The shape rounded out a lot post-wash and is so cute! 🩷 🩷 🩷
I received my brush this week and my biggest gripe is the weight of the handle. It would feel much more luxurious with a little more weight added. Nevertheless, it’s soft enough for me as a goat hair brush.
@AnaLopez-zz8rk I haven't used it yet but I noticed that the goat hair is a lot finer than the one on the Premium series and Monochrome Cheek Brush so it breaks easily.. I was so surprised it fluffed up as much as it did though! Is yours also really fluffy?
Yeah mine also did fluff out ! I’m just happy that the squirrel blend is different than the round one I bought last year! I haven’t even used that one because it’s so prickly and not good !
@@AnaLopez-zz8rk That's great to hear! Hopefully they come out with more of these types of brushes in the future. Yea, it is really hit or miss :(. Oh wow, you haven't even used it. It's so disappointing to get bad brushes!
Kudos to rephyr for working with the most demanding fude personality on RUclips, you! Thanks for the comprehensive review.
@teadivamuse hahaha, thank you for your support! 🩷

Thank you for your video!! 🙏 I will try to pick this up purely for the price point, hoping it doesn't sell out super super fast!

Hey would you recommend using color switch on fude brushes?
@susomapauria2282 Hi, no those are too abrasive.
@@FudeKyun thanks a lot dear. I love all your videos.

How did you like the koyudo gray squirrel and goat blend ?
