Hi Lexi ! First off, congrats on getting PR from Rephr and Esum. You deserve the recognition from both companies. Thank you so much for the close-up presentation of Rephr’s upcoming saibikoho brush, along with actual demos of the brush in-use (not sure if I should curse you instead, because your video will undoubtedly contribute to the accelerated sell-out of this brush - and I hope Rephr will limit the number to one brush per cart). Thank you as well for your in-depth description of the mini and maxi eye brush sets along with thorough comparisons with the original brushes, and other popular brushes in other brands. Great video, as always!
Hooray, thank you for demonstrating how you'd use the Holiday brush! You're the first reviewer I've seen do it! I need to know! LOL. Great video, thank you
Lexi, you are the epitome of professional and that is why you have been sent these products! I was not going to get more brushes, but you have absolutely sold me on the Saibikoho brush and the mini set! No one can touch or beat your reviews on brushes as they are so labour intensive and informative. You deserve nothing but the best ❣️❣️❣️
Hi Lexi, thank you for such a thorough overview. Really happy that brands are sending you pr bc you really work hard for them and us while offering an unbiased and highly informative review each and every time. That Rephr holiday brush is just so beautiful! I think that it's such a lovely gesture of them to give back in this manner.😍❤️👏
It’s BEAUTIFUL. I WISH I COULD BUY ALL THE NEW LITTLES. SO JEALOUS. When you said $88 I almost fainted. I’m like I can get it. Saw the correction. And 😢😢
No, the brush is going to be on sale for $88, the regular price will be $188 so you can get it Louise! I had said $187 in the video so that is what I was correcting.
Hi Lexi. Thank you for giving us notification of these Rephr releases. I can't wait to get the Holiday brush and the mini set. It's hard to find nice brushes that are small like that. I already have a lot of them in the original size and the minis look even better for me.
Thank you so much for the demos and comparisons Lexi, you always go above and beyond! I’m definitely getting both of the eye sets. I love that Rephr always listen to their customers. Hopefully they will bring back the shiny handle (I don’t like the matte) and the brush holders that were in their original launch in 2019!
What a great overview of all of the brushes! I’m definitely going to try to snag the powder brush. I love the mini set as well. Thank you for the review!
I meant to compare those and I forgot! I will add some photos to the community tab but overall the 5 is fluffier and more dense. The ferrules are about the same size and shape. The length of the longest hairs are about the same in both brushes but the holiday brush has more of them so you have a more uniform and less fluffy appearance. The hairs start to taper closer to the tip whereas the 05 hairs start tapering closer to the ferrule so the mix of hair lengths allows it to "fluff" out a bit more. Because the saibikoho hairs are finer in diameter, they also are smoother and less likely to fluff. I hope this helps!
Lexi, that’s great you received Rephr brushes & esum 4 palette in PR. Rephr brush looks pretty with flowers on the handle. Esum palette looks stunning. Thanks for reviewing both the brushes & palette. Always so great when you go over the various brushes. 😊🌺
The flagship bundle that's on sale now for $39, is comprised of the 04 brush that you love. It's a bit denser and smaller than the Saibikoho Holiday brush, so I figure it's gonna be great for contour like you suggested in the other Rephr video. Thank you, Lexi! I placed my order yesterday at noon and got the delivery today already, Wow!
@@LexiJong Hi Lexi, the brushes are so, so soft. The special edition is a bit softer than the #4. The special edition brushes are amazing for powder blush like the Sisley L’Orchidee. It diffuses the colour and made it melt into my skin. The #4 is great for contouring. I don’t know how but it manages to blend the gray contour colour (from the Sephora contour trio) into my skin without making it look bruised, but that’s just so great. Thank you for your recommendations.
@@LexiJong I saw Michele Wang applied the Sisley L’Orchidee blush with the #5 brush. The special edition also does that job very well! I don’t have the #5 so I can’t compare.
@@LexiJong the Holiday brushes are also good to use as setting powder. I tried it to set my La Prarie foundation with the Sisley pressed powder on top of the Koh Gen Do loose powder and it works. I then buffed the Guerlain meorite on top after contour and blush and got the glass skin effect. Wow, Lexi, I’m like a kid playing with her favorite toy! Thank you so so much!
Thanks so much for explaining how special the cheek bush is and how the price point is incredible (despite the fact that I hesitate to spend the money, only because I am not working), rather than belittling the painting design on the handle. The bristles and design of rush look ideal for me!
AMAZING!!! I’ve been eyeing the koyomo ones FOREVER and couldn’t pull the trigger on their comparable brushes. Getting 2 IF Rephr will allow… Have a great week ❤️
Hi Lexi, thanks to you, I have successfully put in the order to buy 2 of the Holiday Brushes, really worth it, the min and max eyeshadow brushes together save another $10 on the bundle!! Then the flagship bundle costs only $39. Wow, what a steal! Thank you!
@@LexiJong Hi Lexi, could you believe it? I got the order delivered today, just now. Wow, that is a speedy delivery service! I like Rephr already! I love the brushes so far just by touching them. They are definitely very smooth!
Thanks for your review of these new Rephr brushes. I have their large eye brush collection. Plus 3 of the tiniest brushes. And they work well with my Sonia G brushes. So I'm a fan. This was a big help with decision making for that Rephr launch. Also, those ESUM palettes are really beautiful. Because I have so many palettes, I can't justify them now. I hope I’m able to get the Saibikoho brush! I have a feeling they will go fast! I love that they made it such a versatile shape and size! It’s gorgeous! I definitely want the mini eye set. I have hooded eyes and smaller brushes always work better for me. And the 1,2, and 13 are my 3 most used eye brushes! I do hope they sell them individually in the future because I’d love to get the maxi in #1. That Esum palette is gorgeous! The green look you had in the video 😍, but every look you demonstrated was beautiful. I wear (and so frequently repurchase) Esum’s mascara, and I’d love grab that the next time I order. And look at you throwing on a perfect wing so nonchalantly! I’m totally impressed!
