i think I was at that show... I remember at one point he was unhappy with the microphone type he was given and he chanted "gimme an SM57! gimme an SM57!" as a vocal ad lib and knocked over the mike stand
THE BLUES EXPLOSION!!! THE BLUUUUUEEESSSS EXPLOSION!!!! STRAIGHT OUT OF NEW YORK CITY, WE CAME AAAAAALL THE WAY, TO BE WITH YOU PEOPLE TONIGHT!!!! THE BLUES EXPLOSION!
The comments are such a hoot! Everyone telling the guitarist and the interviewer how to do things. What is everyone a critic? Just watch and enjoy and if you don’t like things you can try and do it yourself. Then you could do things just the way you want. Interviewer and The Explosion rock!
Surely it's about time you got some lapel mics or something... Interesting rig otherwise, be nice to see the players go through some of their sounds, really hankering to hear what that Big Trees sounded like.
I must agree with the comments about the cruddy audio. Seems like all RRs have something left to be desired as far as mics go. Otherwise, keep 'em comin'.
He inspires me to get a black tele and slam on a humbucker. Maybe i'll also add a tortoise pickguard and a 3-saddle bridge but i don't know if i'm ready for that much mojo...
I've been playing guitar over seven years now but so much of the technical stuff is foreign to me. I've never been able to afford a pedal board (or whatever it's called). I'm not really sure how the pedals on the board are affected by the "foot switches" all I know are the basics like playing a guitar and amp that sound good together.
i dont get it. heard that DR strings sucks. i tried few. Erni Ball makes good ones. D"adarrio makes too.. but im love in elixir. dont know why so few use them.
What's the deal with your audio guys? For running a company all about audio you guys seem to really not have it right. Love all of the info from the artists though.
telecasters, telecasters everywhere... man every rundown I see is at least 3 telecasters... and it is the only model I don't like LOL... didn't know they are so good sounding
jon and judah are a great guitar combination-they complement each other perfectly tone-wise.
5:00 "This is my main guitar...and I can lose it and not be too upset...It's not some vintage albatross..."
Take that snobby guitar collectors!
He can chew gum if he wants 'cause Blues Explosions number one!!!
Thasright, thasright..!!
The Blues Explosion, live @ Tramps in NYC in the early 90s? Blew my face off and now my mom calls me Skelator.
i think I was at that show... I remember at one point he was unhappy with the microphone type he was given and he chanted "gimme an SM57! gimme an SM57!" as a vocal ad lib and knocked over the mike stand
Now we need Jon Spencer...
luv this guy
xmon judah lets jam!
i play very similar to russel
THE BLUES EXPLOSION!!! THE BLUUUUUEEESSSS EXPLOSION!!!! STRAIGHT OUT OF NEW YORK CITY, WE CAME AAAAAALL THE WAY, TO BE WITH YOU PEOPLE TONIGHT!!!! THE BLUES EXPLOSION!
one of my heroes! Nice job PG
I've watched about 12 hours of rig rundowns, I'm hooked, awesome show!
Thanks for showing us your guitar rig Judah. Tell Jon we would like the grand tour of his guitar rig too!
Where are you judah ? I miss you, I miss your style. What is a world without Judah Bauer playing guitar for me ?

“So what kind of tone are you going for then?”
“Um…just…it’s pretty limited you know. It’s just Tele. Cranked.”
❤😂😂😂😂😂❤
The blues is number one!
no frills and to the point... he is a Tele guy.
He uses a phaser for fuzz but doesn't know if he needs it. Whaaa???
that freaking twin is awesome......
thank goodness there are a few who stil dig the telecaster
A few? 😁
Dude tons of people play teles including myself . they are still one of the most popular guitars.
this guys on some kind of crazy downs
and what year is that gum you're chewing?
+Sid Fernandez Hehe, good question :)
LOVE.
Sid Fernandez nice Split-personality Disorder profile picture of commentanderthal puto who is actually a self-opinionated asshat by default..
@@gavinjh1303 If you're saying that Fernandez' comment was.....stupid as fuck!!.....I AGREE!!
Wow man....how damn cool was that..!!
The tie-dyed analog delay pedal is by 'On The Road Effects' Thanks Judah!
Him: yeah, he made this from a bunch of parts just thrown together
30sec later
Her: so are those pick ups stock?
Schmoe ... So what's your point here asshat?!
He might've changed the pickups from the ones he got in the guitar
The Legend.
I want to see rig rundowns of the Premier Guitar interviewers.
Good to see Owen Wilson so involved in music
Finally!
Gotta love the ebow!
Judah's mom and dad are having a rummage sale today....some great stuff
great, thank a lot fot that!!!!
YES!!!!!
The Blues is number one! The Blues is number one!
What are you holding?
This is probably the best rig rundown
FIRE SOUND SOUND GUY!
Slide siren was the best part!
Would've liked to hear Judah's thoughts on the trad. single coil p/u in the neck position vs the humbucker.
Nah...this is great...not all rrd's have 2be so "tech"...it only rock and roll...love the gum
Maybe time for new rig rundown and also with Jon Spencer? Is that Bloodshot Bill behind Judah around 5 minutes? I bet he is!
Come on guys, give her a break. She really does a good job all around.
Thanks Tessa ;-)
Really weird camera work in this video.
BadaSS band
I like how he hates those relic'ed fenders. What an awfully lame idea.
GREAT VId THanks
Surely it's about time you got some lapel mics or something... Interesting rig otherwise, be nice to see the players go through some of their sounds, really hankering to hear what that Big Trees sounded like.
Do a rig rundown of jeff kollman please, one of the best guitarists as of right now (:
How do you use a phaser for fuzz
My guess is that the "fuzz" slot on his pedal switcher is more for "Go crazy" pedals. Spencer handles most of the real fuzzy tones.
I almost died because I thought this said "REBECCA BLACK" instead of "REBECCA BACK" Lol.
More tubes the better maybe but definitely more better the better right? definitely
I must agree with the comments about the cruddy audio. Seems like all RRs have something left to be desired as far as mics go. Otherwise, keep 'em comin'.
Dude is stoned off his tree
Do jons next!
Great guitarist...sounds super. Should be better know.:)
do Zechs Marquise rig rundown please, pretty please?
He inspires me to get a black tele and slam on a humbucker. Maybe i'll also add a tortoise pickguard and a 3-saddle bridge but i don't know if i'm ready for that much mojo...

jesus that's condescending
Awesome! Good job Tessa
Seems like this guy smoked something before the interview LOL
BELL BOTTOMS!
who is the guitarist in this playing intro solo???
"Box of Rocks" lol
it's just me or this guy's voice sounds like rick from the walking dead?
What about the pickups?
What happened to Tessa Jeffers and Rebecca Dirks? The two hottest Rig Rundowners of all time! ( sorry John Bollinger LOL
The Blues is #1!
Right! Always bring enough Hubert and Roy and Keef and plenty of JB
You know if you stick a bunch of pedals in front of your tube amp you now have a digital amp
Well now you have to do one for Jon! Judah Bauer has a really cool set-up, even though I'm not a big fan of the Tele's.
i wonder what are Jon's strings gauge
@@BeefMalPassado 52-11
@@alcoholya wait how do you know😂
This interviewer really needs to learn how to hold a microphone...
lmfao that was gonna be my comment. did you see her shove it in his face at the end? I thought she was joking for a second lolol
Ya farther away from this twat. Who wants to this whinner chew gum
there's a 57 on the floor? why?
Invest in a second microphone. It will pay off. ;-)
I love Tessa
i dont get it. heard that DR strings sucks. i tried few. Erni Ball makes good ones. D"adarrio makes too.. but im love in elixir. dont know why so few use them.
"Here is my Memory Boy that I use for delay". Yet it clearly says Memory Toy. LMAO
dufus?? he's in Jon Spencers band....what do you do???
11's. class
So much hate for Tessa. Sad.
Can someone make a gum chewing compilation?
What's the deal with your audio guys? For running a company all about audio you guys seem to really not have it right. Love all of the info from the artists though.

Cameraman needs to watch the shadows...
WE WANT REBECCA BACK!
telecasters, telecasters everywhere... man every rundown I see is at least 3 telecasters... and it is the only model I don't like LOL... didn't know they are so good sounding
