Now this is how a yachts should be designed. Everything is minimalist ,integrated and sleek. For example the flush fitting giant windows and the teak-roof.

I must say, Justin Rttcliffe looks more like a hardened war time journalist than a maritime one. Perhaps ex-war, now doing calmer stuff? :D
Heard a lot about the joystick, and was expecting some demonstration of it's controls. (Nose, stern, pivot, sideways, and of course fore and aft.) I would like to see what input gives what result. The pivot seems to be at the center of the boat, but if backing into a slip you lose the nose to the wind, how without bow thruster to move it back, pivoting at the stern.
Have you seen RayMarines new system with docking? Where it basically creates a virtual bumper and wont get nearer the dock than you allow it to. Preatty awesome stuff.
@@christianwestling2019 not sure which one, I think Volvo, has an auto dock. Push the button and walk away. Got to be great for safety, ease, etc, but I think it would take part of the fun and pride of operating your own boat. I finally found detailed vids of the stick, but still not sure if you can slew the bow or stern without pivoting around the center.
So how hard can it be? Still waiting to find out
