Congrats on the new baby. :-) As for the trees, I hated those trees when I was a teen. My father had 20 acres of them, and an old massy. Went to school many a day looking like I had been in a fight. You have a great looking crop there. Hope not too many of the pollinators got into your good almonds.
Congrats on your new baby! 👶 I like your Alaska tee-shirt - that's where I grew up. I'm in Bakersfield now, wanting to plant a couple almond trees in my backyard. Thanks for the great videos! God bless you and your family and farm.
Great video man! And congrats on the baby! This harvest was an awesome one! Everyone seemed on time shaking em down besides the little bump in cool weather! We should get in touch I work for a dealer in central California I specialize in orchard equipment(flory, coe, Weldcraft etc.)It’s nice seeing a local farmer posting how this process works not a lot people know how almonds are harvested! I have to say this years harvest has been great!
California Farmer I work for N&S tractor out of Merced.. that’s awesome! This is one of my favorite times of the year! And the weight the trees have had on them have been great especially for the first varieties!
I was curious about the farms near me so I searched "oakdale ca farming" on here and your chanel popped up and now I'm hooked lol. Great videos sir, thank you, and congrats on the new addition!
So wish we had terrain like your farm here in Oz would make our harvesting so much easier , feel for the V sweeper no being able to see much out in front lol ! Congrats on the addition
I had no idea how this process took place never really thought about it to be honest very interesting and very dusty I wonder how many air filters you go through on the machines 🤣! 👍
Congratulations on the new baby. I found out about your channel from a video you did with Welker Farms earlier this year I think. I like your channel. Thank you for sharing because I did not know how this was done. Are the almonds basically in a shell inside of a shell?
On a more serious vane, what is the age of your orchard. I grew up in Sanger and my grandfather had a very small orchard. We harvested with long poles and canvas. This was many years ago.
I'm surprised you need a shaker machine as here there are a lot of women who threaten to shake your nuts until they fall off. It's confusing as we are a livestock farm.
Wanted to ask if you would be interested taking pollination into your own hands, saving on overhead and make extra money by offering pollination to your local farmers???? If interested feel free to contact me.
I like how the truck comes ready with snacks :)
Thank you for allowing us to follow along with the harvest. An congratulations on the new addition to the family

One is 7 years old, the other is 5.
Does this process typically mess up/damage the irrigation sprinklers?
Where does your water come from?
Do you think I can grow in North Carolina?
what's price non pierl almonds?
Which sweeper is better? The blue one or the red one.
I’ve never run them, so you’re asking the wrong person haha I’m sure they are both pretty good at what they do.
You go thru a lot of air filters..
invent a topsoil collection machine and you would make a fortune
Hey I know those machines 😉

I'm a Beekeeper and I would like to put my bees in your orchards. Let me know if you need good bees.
What??? You are in the valley and you call them all-monds. NO, no. They are Amonds with a little a pronunciation. Just saying.
Oh trust me I’m a silent L guy too haha but I’ve gotten in the habit of going back and forth, depending on who I’m talking to!
don't tell the dog that there is a nut inside the shell, ignorance is bliss i reckon
