Hey there I'm the guy you're talking about who flipped a kayak and got rescued 🤣🤣🤣. Was my first time trying kayak fishing and unfortunately was on a kayak that was way to small and didn't realize it. Gotta make sure the kayak has a load rating that can handle you otherwise they flip real easy. Have been watching your videos and have successfully went out fishing on an appropriately sized kayak.
I'm glad you got out of the water pretty quick and you've had successful trip afterwards. I know a lot of people get turned off after falling in. Going for swimming is a part of the sport hehe. If you like to join me some times, let me know.
San Carlos Beach next to Monterey Marina/Breakwater Cove Marina. There is a ramp where you can wheel your kayak down. You can also launch from the boat ramp at Breakwater Cove Marina.
@@MooMooOutdoors thank you so much. I live in santa cruz and drive my son to seaside for school. Could not be more perfect., and I did not know those places. So thanks again

The Profit Moo!!!!🤣🤣🤣Your usually correct and if you must error you errored in a good way!! My favorite fish is Ling Cod! I enjoy catching them but love eating them! Fun video, thanks!
The ocean really gives so much to choose from, if you can't catch one thing, there's always more to choose from, and that Ling Cod was a nice choice by surprise!
Good stuff Moo! It always surprises me when I see folks not dressed for immersion fishing the salt. Way to beat the skunk and yes definitely rinse off all gear ASAP.
I caught 5 ling on Wed. Kept 2, no halibut. Only me and 1 commercial guy. Saw him at dock selling halibut at dock. 10.00 a pound. Sc yesterday and 1 halibut and makeral. The pressure washer was a great idea. I got one on Amazon.
@@MooMooOutdoors About 6 or 7 along with some regular pacific mackeral. Was looking for bait and interesting enough, I got them close to the condos. No halibut though :( Trolled a jacksmelt and a mackeral but no bites.
7:42 Wow, strong guy!
😂🤣
The spot is still really good, bro, there are quite a few strikes there
Good to hear

Thank you. I really appreciate it
funny how Keith's laugh is so distinguishable. I heard him in the back ground and knew it was TLA!
Funny how he's always near me when I catch fish 😂🤣
Love the cap. Where can I find it
I got it from amazon.

MooMoo you were the most friendly at the street fair out of all the u-tube fisherman, with it's more than fishing not being friendly at all thanks!
Thank you for the kind words. Jun is a real nice guy. I not sure why he wasn't nice to you.

It's all good. I just love paddling my kayak in the ocean. Being on the water itself is a blast.

There is always a backup species and backup to backup species LOL
Which beach did you launch?
San Carlos Beach
@@MooMooOutdoors Thank you. I thought so but wasn't sure. I don't recall seeing anyone launch there (always just divers and beach goers).
Where is the spot you launched kayak?
We launched at San Carlos Beach. Thanks for watching
Nice fish
Thanks 😁
Good stuff Moo! It always surprises me when I see folks not dressed for immersion fishing the salt. Way to beat the skunk and yes definitely rinse off all gear ASAP.
I probably sound like a broken record but I'll keep advise people to dress for immersion.

I heard the rumor of mackerel. Can't wait to get out.
@@MooMooOutdoors I caught a bunch of spanish mackeral near the area a couple of weeks ago. Are you planning on attending the kayak derby on the 17th?
What is defined "a bunch?. I want details 😂🤣. That's the plan. As long as I don't have a job.

I have a battery powered pressure washer too. It's awesome to be able to rinse down the equipment after a day out. Good stuff Moo.
I know right? They are great.
@@MooMooOutdoors Did you launch from the coast guard pier area? Normally the surf is minimal there.
Yes, we did.
What size and power Alijoz rod were you using?
7 foot heavy
Hey Moo. What paddle are you using. I didn’t see it in the gear list. Thanks!
I keep forgetting to add it to the list. It's Bending Branches Navigator. I have a "how to choose a right paddle" video coming next Monday.
@@MooMooOutdoors thank you so much! I’m looking forward to the video.
One of the safety lists going kayak fishing is to fish with Moo. Lol. Moo knew it was a ling, but just dramatized his video. 😂
OMG! Could you not?
Moo Moo Outdoooooooooors!
😁👍
very nice ling
Thanks 😁
