2018 Album of the year, hands down. amazing amazing album.
i used to prefer studio recorded songs above of live versions in 99,9% cases, but this song was the first to change my mind completely, both versions are wonderful, but live version just hits different

I like this version, but when Steve Marion (delicate Steve) is on lead, he plays a heavier line which really adds a lot to this song.

Yeah. That's what I was implying as well. It's kinda rare that you hear synths being used to produce percussive sounds like they have done here.
I always thought it was on an arpegiator but no, the musician actually plays it. The imperfectection in that ends up being perfect for the song.
