The ending of the next scene after the commercial with the wallet. Hit's me really hard. KITT: Oh and one other thing about Michael Knight. Michael: What's that? KITT: I was extremely fond of him. Me: 🥺
My grandfather was a Nascar North champion in the 1940s. I now know why he enjoyed the show. He missed racing 🏁. He gave up racing for my grandmother per her request in an ultimatum. Her or Nascar. Thanks grandfather for choosing grandmother and now I'm enjoying life because your choice. God bless the angry stubborn women in this world who take the man and yell at him. I miss my grandparents fighting and war games. Best grandparents in the world 🌎. Love ❤️ you. RIP grandpa and grandma. I know you're in God's team working on guiding your children and grandchildren.
William Daniels, who voiced KITT, was a wonderful and underrated actor. You will find him in many supporting roles and as the lead, as John Adams, in the historical musical "1776". One of my favorite roles was as the child welfare supervisor in the film "A Thousand Clowns". I used to wonder if we could have replaced Siri with Daniels on our iPhones, but that's just me.
He honestly is so underrated. And two facts from Knight Rider solidify that for me. 1: He refused to take VA credit for KITT. 2: He fought to give KITT more of a personality and fought to make him less like a talking, mindless computer, because he believed that KITT was more than that. And by doing the first thing he helped make KITT feel more real and give him more of a mysterious feel as well. And by doing the second one, he made KITT one of the best (my all time favorite) characters to ever hit the screen. Mainly because you could feel everything he felt. Whether it be through speech, or simply body language (even if the 'body language' is hard to pick up on, being seen through the scanner or subtle noises the vehicle makes.). He fought for this. And by doing so, allowed KITT to be more human than many humans out there. They could use that 'body language' to help express KITT after he helped fight for the personality. Respect to that man.
@@sashamountainwater9322 if I remember correctly, the reason he never wanted a VA credit for doing KITT was that he wanted kids who watched the show to believe that KITT was real and that he could actually talk He didn't want to ruin the illusion that kids had with the show
My Uncle lives by the area there and he said on his way home from work sometimes he would see Kitt in his film chase scenes and doing his 180s with the Hoff. Hoff did most of the stunts he said. He said one day they were outside and Kitt came racing down the street with a film crew following him.
KITT being so loyal to Michael even when he gets shouted at "BEAT IT!" and Michael starts running off... only for KITT to continue to follow him. He's an amazing soul, even though he's an AI.
No way could Michael Long be prepared for that acceleration. "What's this do?" Great line. Good job it wasn't the eject left button. The roof isn't open. Is that Turbo Boost scene the same one from the pilot but from a different camera angle? It looks a lot like it.
@@justincarawan-carawanco.pu1639 That's nothing. Have look back at the chicken scene between KITT and CARR. What comes flying off the cliff definitely ain't no Pontiac Trans Am.
How many shows and movies in the '80s did characters have amnesia? It seemed to be a lot. I remember acting like I had amnesia to see if my little brother knew how to get back home from the park when we were kids. I feel like I saw it in a lot of media.
Michael: Alright. I drive from here on. KITT: Absolutely. Providing you'll promise me one thing. Michael Knight: What? KITT: Please do not refer to me as a 'car' or a 'set of wheels', it's most demeaning. I'm the Knight Industries Two Thousand. You always called me 'KITT'. Michael Knight: Alright, KITT, let's see what you can do.
Can we appreciate the stunt driver in the car for a little? He sits there, looking like a car seat, with quite limited freedom of movement and vision, yet he drives the car perfectly along the Hoff, not hitting him, but very close to him. True, I don't know how many shots it took and how many times was the Hoff run over, but still, the driver managed (eventually).
I love watching 80s shows based in Los Angeles, simply because I live here. And also because I like to see how L.A. has changed and like to guess the locations. Judging by the house # I'd say this was filmed somewhere in the San Fernando Valley, or in the Beverly Hills hills. Care to correct me? Please do so.

As if he was going to outrun a Trans Am

Say what you will, KITT is a beautiful car. 40 years haven't changed that and I doubt another 40 will either.
Absolutely beautiful 🎉
That generation Firebird/Trans Am still gorgeous today. 😊
It is even more beautiful than the later versions that were released in 1990 and 2008.
KITT ages like fine wine with Ferrari f40 like styling
Classics remain beautiful for all time.
I love Kitt he's such a beautiful car and very loyal to Michael
This was a great opportunity to refresh their relationship. And remind the audience how much Michael's life changed as Mr. Knight.
Even when he loses his memory Michael remembers to over-exaggerate on turbo boosts
He's impressed with it. Can you blame him?
This show was childhood... always dreamt of having KITT

KITT: Oh and one other thing about Michael Knight.
Michael: What's that?
KITT: I was extremely fond of him.

Yes, that scene melts my heart every time! ❤️
As KITT said, "Losing one's memory is so embarrassing."
I SWEAR I just held those DIMMs in my hand a minute ago. Where could I put them?
You should know KITT, you went through the same thing.... twice.
I love that there's already tyre tracks all over the road from previous takes haha
I noticed that, too. Never mind that indestructible tires wouldn't leave tracks.
That mailman deserved an Academy Award and they should have had him in a lot more episodes. ;)
The voice actor for KITT was Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World. Great actor with a perfect voice.
The new voice of kitt on new series(nice car by the way) was Val Kilmer :)
Dr. Craig on St. Elsewhere before Mr Feeny
Yes.. William Daniels is his name..
And John Adams in 1776. 🎶
i didnt know mr feeny was the voice...its so cool

As a kid, this was my show and my dream.
Watching these clips as an adult, I never realized what a reckless driver Michael was.

Still a dream though! Always and forever.
Marvelous KITT 🚗🚘
Starts the engine while it's running...😄
I love the blocky graphics. At the time they were almost impossibly hi-res.
It's comparable to commodore 64 graphics which were pretty good for the time
