There's a big difference between Anderson and Adesanya that few are talking about. Anderson relied on baiting someone in and then using his insane reflexes to move out the way and counter. Adesanya relies much more on baiting someone into specific shots then throwing FIRST or at the same time. So it's more... reflexes vs. anticipation.

I think what a lot of us aren’t expecting is how much Adesanya is improving between fights. The same thing used to be said about Jon Jones. Every new fight, you saw something new. It looks like we’re seeing the same thing with Adesanya. After the Vettori fight, I thought he might be in a little over his head with Tavares myself. But not only were we wrong, but we were very wrong. He made Tavares look bad in there. However, Adesanya didn’t finish him. That’s worrying for Adesanya going forward.
