My dream physique is to look like Alex Leonidas(a weighted calisthenics practitioner). My short-term goals are to hit 80 kg on weighted dip (70kg currently) and achieve 60 kg on weighted pull up (45kg currently). I love your videos because it helps me be aware of how injuries can occur and I like to think that because of your videos I'm less likely to get injured.
Not physiquewise (I am 6`2 and just built different, much lankier) but performancewise...man you gotta give it to Alex. To me he is one of the the most complete athletes in the strenght sphere. The feats he achieved in multiple disciplines are really impressive.
My dream physique is to have a six pack and weight 170. I'm currently 155 and I've always been skinny, I'm 5'10'. I'd like to have a bigger chest and biceps too. I want to be able to do 100 push-ups in a row, with perfect form. The main reason for my fitness goals is to have more energy and stamina for going on hikes, and to just be healthier!
Dude you are not satisfied with your leanness? Let me tell you you are very lean. I once had your physique 10 years ago and let me tell you leanness below that it is not sustainable especially once you pass 30-33. But your body will adapt and you will still perform at the same level (if not better since I found I gained a lot of strenght in that period of time). Dont be to hard on yourself. You already crushed it and outperformed 99.95 percent of the population. Be proud of what passion got you.
@@Huange._. yeah a few days ago someone told me something similar and it had me wondering, being so obsessed with strength i will never be happy with what i can and have achieved
I appreciate the effort you make with your videos, esp given your obsession with exercise and your studies. But some things puzzle me, and I don't necessarily think you should answer me. Why would you be objectifying yourself, seeing yourself from the reflection of a mirror (dreaming of a physique as seen by others). Maybe this is just a sign of you growing up in the age of social media. Or is it cultural? Was your father's generation obsessed with being buff or obsessed with exercise? I also can't relate to your interest in exercise per se (I was a fat child with asthma and malformed joints). It seems strange to me (I threw myself into reading). I would expect someone interested in exercise per se would not be reflexively concerned about physique - after all, anyone with your enthusiasm for exercise is going to end up with a body in the top 1%. Perhaps you are just super competitive? I am the opposite, I never wanted to compete against anyone. Now that I am an old man I exercise pretty much every day, only taking days off when I ache or feel exhausted. And even though I started late in life and from a position of obesity I have no doubt my body is in the top 1% for men above 40. I do my utmost to exercise at my limit whilst mindful to avoid injury. You seem to be very casual about the idea of injury. I think you should rethink that. Perhaps your concern with a dream physique (viewing yourself reflexively) has led you down a path of exercise that is damaging? As someone who spent 10 years on morphine 24x7 I don't think injury is something to be taken lightly. And I do look at myself reflexively, but I am gay and do not particularly enjoy exercise. If I had had your health and your enthusiasm for exercise I think my life would have been so much easier. I hope you are proud of yourself and kind to yourself and appreciate what you have.
thanks for the thoughtful question. Personally, I am more of a physically oriented person than mentally. Because of school and my family's influence, I focused more on academics. But my favorite form of self-expression or self-fulfillment is in physical activity.
Damn, what a beast! Love the mindset of just doing things for yourself, and also how fitness is a never ending journey 🔥
ty bro

One of my favorite videos from you so far. I’d imagine this is a nice break compared to your biomechanics and bts videos 😂 Keep up the good work 👍
