Varies by dealer. Check accessories.ford.com. Some dealers allow you to order directly from Ford Accessories and often there is an "include installation" option available. Should give you a ballpark idea.
The dealer tried pairing this keypad with our 2024 F350 and said it won’t work because of a frequency issue with the newer trucks. Anybody else have this problem? The Ford accessory store sold it as a match for this specific truck, so it seems odd that the dealer service techs couldn’t get it to pair.

On older Ford vehicles with the older keypads, yes.... Forscan can be used. But-to my knowledge-the newer vehicles need FDRS.

You are correct! Those are indeed legitimate barcodes-they contain hidden messages. You are the first person who has tried to scan them. ;-)
