I think it was more so that they grew apart, and were acting more as friends than as a couple. Being comfortable is great, but sometimes people get too busy, and comfortable, that they stop putting any effort into the relationship
I suspect that sometimes it's because they went through years that SHOULD have been formative but WEREN'T because they were focused on each other so eventually they are forced to choose themselves and sometimes that means not having room for the other person until they can find enough contentment and steadiness within themselves to then turn their attention back to someone else.

Honestly, I don’t think so. I came back to watch this video after watching one Kristen’s new podcast videos and watching it again made me think that she realized that she wasn’t fulfilled in the relationship even though she wanted to be and that’s why it hurt her so much. Not because he did something, but because she loved what they had but it wasn’t what she truly wanted. I think it’s easy to be like, “oh she’s crying the most so she’s the most upset because he did something and he doesn’t care as much” (which I probably thought too when I first watched this almost a year ago now) but I think he is that person that doesn’t like to show a lot of emotion and he also wants to like be strong so he’s not gonna cry and I think especially since she’s still upset. I think he’s trying not to cry to make things worse yk especially if she already feels bad for realizing she needs something else. Anyways, just what I’ve been thinking. Crazy how it’s almost been a year now-
It’s sad as fuck because Kristen genuinely believed Scott would take the time for himself like he claimed he would in this video. Looking back on this, the only one who was honest in this video is Kristen.. but deadass only a month or two after this was posted, Scott started fooling around with Jac. Not gonna lie, I lost a TON of respect for Scott when he started dating Jac. It all happened so quickly after his breakup with Kristen, that it seemed like he was unfaithful to Kristen and broke up with her to get with Jac. Yes, Kristen admitted in her podcast that she realized she was mistreated in her relationship and feels it was the best decision for them to break up-but that doesn’t mean she felt that way when the breakup initially happened. And quite honestly, any woman who is strong-willed and smart like Kristen will eventually come to realize she spent a good amount of time viewing her relationship through rose-colored glasses. What kind of man who genuinely loves and cares for his ex moves on as quickly as Scott did? I’m glad Kristen is taking the time for herself to grow, heal, and learn from her time with Scott. It’s given her the chance to realize she’s worth more than that relationship made her feel in the end. Scott might seem happier with Jac, but that’s because they’ve been quarantined together and they’re in their honeymoon phase. Scott seems to prefer not to leave the house much, so of course he’s living his best life currently. I’m in no way saying his relationship with Kristen is better for him than the one he’s currently in, but it is very important to take TIME for YOURSELF after a breakup. Especially when you’re coming out of a relationship of 5+ years. Scott never took that time for himself to grow and heal from what he learned in his time with Kristen, so it’s only a matter of time before his baggage gets brought to his new relationship. Whatever the case may be, I’m a big believer in karma, so it’ll all come back around to bite him someday. Scott is a nice guy but he’s definitely selfishly driven in life, perhaps a bit narcissistic, and Kristen seems to be the complete opposite. But yessss.. Kristen’s podcast is wonderful, I feel like everyone should check it out! 💕

I think it was more so that they grew apart, and were acting more as friends than as a couple. Being comfortable is great, but sometimes people get too busy, and comfortable, that they stop putting any effort into the relationship
I suspect that sometimes it's because they went through years that SHOULD have been formative but WEREN'T because they were focused on each other so eventually they are forced to choose themselves and sometimes that means not having room for the other person until they can find enough contentment and steadiness within themselves to then turn their attention back to someone else.

Honestly, I don’t think so. I came back to watch this video after watching one Kristen’s new podcast videos and watching it again made me think that she realized that she wasn’t fulfilled in the relationship even though she wanted to be and that’s why it hurt her so much. Not because he did something, but because she loved what they had but it wasn’t what she truly wanted. I think it’s easy to be like, “oh she’s crying the most so she’s the most upset because he did something and he doesn’t care as much” (which I probably thought too when I first watched this almost a year ago now) but I think he is that person that doesn’t like to show a lot of emotion and he also wants to like be strong so he’s not gonna cry and I think especially since she’s still upset. I think he’s trying not to cry to make things worse yk especially if she already feels bad for realizing she needs something else. Anyways, just what I’ve been thinking. Crazy how it’s almost been a year now-
It’s sad as fuck because Kristen genuinely believed Scott would take the time for himself like he claimed he would in this video. Looking back on this, the only one who was honest in this video is Kristen.. but deadass only a month or two after this was posted, Scott started fooling around with Jac. Not gonna lie, I lost a TON of respect for Scott when he started dating Jac. It all happened so quickly after his breakup with Kristen, that it seemed like he was unfaithful to Kristen and broke up with her to get with Jac. Yes, Kristen admitted in her podcast that she realized she was mistreated in her relationship and feels it was the best decision for them to break up-but that doesn’t mean she felt that way when the breakup initially happened. And quite honestly, any woman who is strong-willed and smart like Kristen will eventually come to realize she spent a good amount of time viewing her relationship through rose-colored glasses. What kind of man who genuinely loves and cares for his ex moves on as quickly as Scott did? I’m glad Kristen is taking the time for herself to grow, heal, and learn from her time with Scott. It’s given her the chance to realize she’s worth more than that relationship made her feel in the end. Scott might seem happier with Jac, but that’s because they’ve been quarantined together and they’re in their honeymoon phase. Scott seems to prefer not to leave the house much, so of course he’s living his best life currently. I’m in no way saying his relationship with Kristen is better for him than the one he’s currently in, but it is very important to take TIME for YOURSELF after a breakup. Especially when you’re coming out of a relationship of 5+ years. Scott never took that time for himself to grow and heal from what he learned in his time with Kristen, so it’s only a matter of time before his baggage gets brought to his new relationship.
Whatever the case may be, I’m a big believer in karma, so it’ll all come back around to bite him someday. Scott is a nice guy but he’s definitely selfishly driven in life, perhaps a bit narcissistic, and Kristen seems to be the complete opposite. But yessss.. Kristen’s podcast is wonderful, I feel like everyone should check it out! 💕

He might have ”moved on” long before they even actually broke up. ever since i discovered scott, i’ve always known that he needs to grow outside of his relationship and friend group. they’re all amazing people and i love them, but scotty needs to get into uncomfortable situations so he can grow and realize he can handle anything that comes his way.
