Well you clearly did not watch the whole video because he specifically says there is a zero percent chance that we end up like the movies. However, he is pointing out that we still have issues.
@@tonye2400 Apocalypse never happens like in the movies. You assumed that. If there is an „apocalypse” it is gonna be programmed mostly by those who poses power. It is for the masses. By apocalypse I understand that a lot of people will lose jobs due to AI, there will be a „useless class” like Harari says and the introduction of UBI.
Another apocalypse could be that, we, as humans, will give our ability to think to AI, by trusting it, we will not verify the informations. This will led to mass stupidity, well, I could say that this already happens without AI.
But all this hype about AI is just marketing, like NFT and other trends that died.
