Thanks for sharing your Expérience 🙏🏾 The Gear I use the most frequently now is composed of G 20-70mm f4, the new G 70-200 macro F4 and the GM 50mm F1,2. They all share 72mm Filter size and allow me to cover every situation. 😉
My favorite lens is the 24mm 1.4…looks so good. I am trying to decide if I want to pickup the 35-150mm to replace my 28-75mm and then only have 16-35mm, 35-150mm, and 24mm. I have never used it before but weight is my only concern.
Fair concern. It's definitely on the heavy side, but I never found it uncomfortable, even on longer days. For video, I actually prefer a bit of extra weight for shooting hand-held. It's worth renting and seeing what you think, just beware you'll probably wanna buy it haha
@@ChrisHagan I had the opportunity to buy the Samyang from a friend pretty much new for $750 but the weight scared me. But I guess I should have tried it and if I didn’t like it could have sold it for probably the same amount of money lol
Currently waiting for winter sale to upgrade to A7IV from my a6600 and trying to figure out what lens i should add. Got an 24mm 1.8 and an 105mm 2.8. Leaning towards an 35mm 1.4 from sony but dont know if a 50mm wouldnt be better. Kinda just want a lens that works for everything and is superb quality and easy daily carry. Really think the 35 will do it but just seems like not having anything between 35 -105 is a dumb idea when i already have an 24mm. Ugh too many choices, great video nice insoghts tho

The GM 50 f/1.2 looks incredible.

50 sounds like it would be perfect for you, especially that Sony’s new 50 f/1.4 GM. It’s not much bigger than the 35 GM and around the same price.
